1. The dream itself
2. The fact I became aware of the dream state
3. A sense of fear I perceived yet was not emotionally attached to
4. Perception of the space outside my body before waking
5. Everything that wasn't my body, the dream, the fear, or my consciousness.

We are told all throughout that the use of any magic not explicitly permitted in the text interferes with our development, why is this? Why would the creation of say a golden dawn talisman negatively affect us?
"Evil," self-gratifying acts--as well as good, "selfless" acts--are almost always self-reinforcing acts. It's important to assume that we don't know what's truly good for the Work until we've tasted the true, no-self Self that rises from the ashes of a destroyed ego. The magic of light does not build a special place for us in the world. It tears it down. I've made it pretty clear that the LBRP and Middle Pillar lead to a destruction of the ego. Who on earth would desire that! Get out while you can! ;)
For those who are not yet fed up with themselves and ready to "die," the magic of light is of no use.
@@lyamchristopher2393 are demons/Qlipphoth kind of the opposite, as to say they boost and aggrandize the Ego ? Is Satan a reflection of the Ego?
A Gnostic would probably say that the Ego is the Satan of the microcosm--but of course, there's so much baggage tied to Satan that modern people won't see what they mean.

Thank you Lyam. For some reason it came to me that the light for my light rituals when representing Kether is of a different quality. In my mind I process it as "black", but it is not black, it is transparent. but sharpens, contrasts, defines anything it hits. This is opposite of white light, that washes out everything (overexposes) in high quantities. This never does. It seems like something beyond visible white light. Your note about the transparent nature of the endless light in atziluth had me compelled to reply! This only began happening ~3 weeks, as I'm finishing neophyte in your book.

I know this is a random video I’m deciding to comment on, but I just had to stop and say how wonderful of a teacher you are. I ordered your book last night (and a few others) and am watching your videos in order of production. I am taking notes and screenshotting and rewatching so I can get it. You make magic theory so digestible. You give wonderful reference material and have a light (but commanding) demeanor as an instructor. As a southerner myself, I greatly appreciate your methods. I expect your book to lead me on the informed path to doing my will. I’m glad I found this channel so I could root out the sensationalist magical crap. Anywho, I’m still only focusing on performing lbrp twice daily and breath work/meditation in practice. Hopefully I’ll be reaching out soon with a crapton of questions and stuff. Thank you again.

i'm quite emotionally and mentally stable person (if i may say so myself), but there were 2 instances in my life when i actually felt quite disturbed (don't get me wrong, there were many instances when i got disturbed, only those were triggered by certain events in my life (things like war, illness and death of loved-ones and other, lesser catastrophes that only 8 or 9 T-squares (involving Pluto, Uranus, Saturn, Sun, Mercury, Ascendant and Chiron), can bring into one's life)).
The first instance was a period of maybe 4 - 5 months (autumn and winter) back in my home town, while i was in high school, during which there was no a single sunny day, there was no a trace of sunshine, nothing - just the pigeon-shades of gray every single day, accompanied with some cold, depressing rain.
The second instance was a period of maybe year and a half when i wasn't dreaming. By the end of it, i thought i was going to go nuts. You go to bed, you cease to exist for a number of hours and then you come back from the non-existence. That was it. When i finally started dreaming again, i was so grateful and relieved..... Even today, i don't like the 'dead' parts of sleeping (even though i've been having a lot of heavy nightmares for years). For some reason i'm quite aware of them when i wake up. I guess i don't mind being in the 'dead' state - but do mind the awareness of them.
Who would have thought there is so much to be said about sleeping.... used to be a simple affair 🙂
I suspect that it’s just the idea of slipping into the darkness that is daunting, not the idea of being there.
Another great video. Through years of practice and much failure, the experience of death isn't really real. People who are not adept cannot remember their past lives mainly due to negative karma. Also many adepts are aware but not necessarily interested in their past lives. To the adept past life is history of an aspect that is dead and gone. The adept lives in the now. For the adept reincarnation is a disappointment. To be in the experience of 'HGA' is a level of bliss which cannot really be described in crude language. It is being without the laughable ego. When I hear of the Buddha being able to remember ALL of his past lives, I think of that mainly in terms of being in tune with them. The feeling of... "Hmm, this seems to be the first time I've experienced this particular body issue."
It also might have been possible for him to visit any previous incarnation (or generation) in astral form.

Another great one, just wanted to comment the very last part when you talk about the sword, and how it relates to the revolving flaming sword the gods put at orient of Eden along with Cherubs to keep man out of paradise. Cherubs are literaly known to represent the mind ( work of Rabi Moshe Ben Maimon). Also present in the symbolism of The Chariot (Ezequiel 1:9). The nature of our present self being delimited by the Cherubs forming the Chariot, it is said in Ezequiel that one had the face of a human, one of a lion, one of a bull and the last one had the face of an eagle. A clear reference to the fixed signs of the zodiac (Aquarius, Leo, Taurus, and Scorpio). The development of the conscious mind gave birth to the ego and then the idea of separation, with it came fear of the other, fear of one's safety, projections of the other and all the rest of it. The flaming sword is a passionate unrest mind, and over inflated ego that will keep us away from Eden( union).
One thing worth talking about in the future is the artificial dichotomy between the conscious and the subconscious. If one can enter into the subconscious while conscious, is the subconscious really subconscious?

Lyam I have a doubt about the lesser banishing ritual of the pentagram. If i am from Argentina, the position of the archangels Michael and Auriel are the same? Or are inverse? I wonder if this kind of detail matter. Thank you for the knowledge in the chanel and the book🙏
There are archetypal patterns etched into the collective unconscious. Created throughout the lives of our innumerable ancestors who lived in the the Northern Hemisphere. Since you share in those patterns, you don't need to change the directions in your magic circle. Your deep psyche has likely been imprinted with the lore of the Norther Hemisphere, and it will respond to that imagery best.

Seems like the order of the Supreme ritual of the pentagram is essentially the manifestation of spirit into matter, through the 4 worlds, most subtle to most dense (Hence, "Invoking Spirit")

Yes, and its important not to make something special out of this insight. It's more important to notice it and to see what other forms of ritual you can make, based on it. That is, once you become an adept and then take charge of your own magical system.
Hi Lyam, jaw in the floor and pupils dileted in full concentration by your videos, in beginning of the practices is the sense of 'pressure' and kind of felling of faint but you dont faint (thats the best explanation that I can give) are the results of inhaling the shapes I draw? or should i check myself to the hospital for a blood clot?

In order to have lucid dreaming, do you have to retain your awareness while falling sleep or do you have to wake up during the sleep? is it different than intense active imagination? I try to hold unto it while falling asleep but either I black out or I get lost in the train of thoughts and images.
It's easier to learn how to wake up in the midst of a dream. However, it is possible retain lucidity as you drift to sleep--that mainly happens when you "wake back to bed"--or when you sleep in two shifts, the way our ancestors did.
There's a lot of lore to share about lucid dreaming and astral projection. Soon!

I have a technical problem that i have to pee at night, mostly one time but often twice.. its bothering my deep sleep..
The body enters a deep sleep cycle two or three times a night. Not once. Therefore, getting up to pee is not necessarily a problem. The real issue has to do, most likely, with light.
I wonder whether you know what I mean by that.

What happens if your teacher/ accomplice dies suddenly
There are too many variables there, so I can't really comment. However, I do find that true initiates can possibly impact their students pretty profoundly so that no other teacher thereafter may be necessary.
