Pre shampoo hair masks are suitable for those who have very thin and oily hair which kind of flattens after shampoo & conditioner, it's like moving from +ve to - ve and at the same time leaving the hair shiny and voluminous, I have very thin , straight hair so I realise it's importance

I have curly hair, its very important for me to go pre shampoo mask to just smooth out whole weeks dryness n everything, so dry hair needs pre shampoo mask to just smooth out hair so that shampoo dont extremely drench moisture.
I believe the pre shampoo mask is meant for your drier hair strands ?? Maybe extra nourishment??

My hair is even drier and curlier, with maximum level of frizz. I need much more product than Ms. Rubina. Also hair oil doesn't suit me for some reason.
But I will give the oils another chance, and will pick up this serum asap. Also was interested in Olaplex but was not sure where to start. Guess I know now!

The pre-shampoo idea came from cg girl method I guess, and I assure you it's a very much needed step for us, who have curly hair. Cause without a pre-shampoo mask my curls will be impossible to comb even with conditioner on. 😀

As per the instructions on the olaplex site, no. 3 is supposed to be applied to wet hair. I've also heard people saying that they contacted the olaplex customer care and asked them about the same and the response they got was that no 3 only works as long as your hair is damp.
Just watched this - exactly what i was looking for! Couple of questions do you buy the serums from Amazon specially Olaplex? Sometimes stuff on Amazon is not genuine so checking. Do you do anything differently for washing oiled hair in terms of products. Thanks

I just use the shampoo towash oiled hair. But def drench it very well before using shampoo.

How is livon as a serum maam? does it really make hair easily breakable?
I have used it long back...i think if you use right product to remove build up your hair will be fine.

Glad its useful. No just on the hair...since conditioners coat surfaces for smoothening out when applied on the scalp these might interfere with skin function on the scalp ... so best avoided.

@@ninamatri4643 while it depends on hair quality n density it also depends on cumulative use making your hair healthy enough to need less. This amount works for me . Depending on your hair you could certainly go up or down.
Hi Rubina ! I heard that olaplex serums can be used only if one has taken Ola plex treatment. Is that true or I can randomly use it with other shampoos n conditioners

I get it done professionally so I have no idea honestly. I just ask for caramel color for gray coverage. and hair color is balayage. I have. video on it :)

Hi Rubina ! Have ordered olaplex no 6. I have wavy colored hair. Also want to invest in a good shampoo and conditioner. Have u tried olaplex 4 and 5? How wd u compare them to wella sp luxe oil range? Which one is better?
Olaplex are serums. Wella SP luxe oil range shampoos and conditioners are love.

I always have this question, does hair colouring leads to hair fall? especially if we keep distance from the roots. Because hair grows from roots and not the length. It might break off but does it delivers damage to the roots as well?
I have been coloring since 15 years ...it does not lead to hairfall when done with good products.

the salon lady is not mixing the colors right- dark brown should not look blackish! a lot of them do that as getting dark brown can be tricky- requires precise mixing.
get highlights done absolutely- different salons cahrge differently and it depends on the length as well as density. There is no ball park for it I guess...it can take 5 hours to 8 hours as it depends on how yoru hair will take the color too...hard to say as a guess.

hey Shilpa, it lasts for easy 7 months. That is some 460 INR a month I think. Loreal too has color protect shampoos. This is just my routine 🙈
