I have the same, and the quick shifter is so good that I hardly ever use the clutch. A bit jerky sometime going up from first to second. It makes the bike so much more fun! The one serious problem with that motorcycle are the rear view mirrors vibrating above 60 km/h. Barring a very flexible neck, a clip-on handlebar mirror is needed to have a clear view behind. It certainly can be handled by beginners, but overconfident types should avoid it as a first bike: even with experience, it takes a fair amount of self-discipline to ride safely such an exhilarating motorcycle. In terms of performance, for road use, unless you are very serious about killing yourself, it has plenty more than enough.
I’ve had mine since 2017 and covered just 7k miles (I also have a F850GS). My DQS is smooth and very quick. Your bike must have had a QS issue believe me my system is smoother than my BMW which is very clunky. Value for money this is the best bike for me, just the looks alone are awesome.
i have the same 2017 model and my quickshifter is perfect. smooth shifting. up and down. too bad yours does not work the way it should. i love my supersport s. i have had two honda cbr 600 rr’s a ysmaha fz-07 and 09 and this bike is my favorite bike to date. it is my first ducati.
Glad to hear that the quick shifter problem is limited to the bike I drove. I would have found it very disappointing if this problem affected all models. The big problem is Ducati has been unable to identify and fix the problem since the purchase of the bike.
Just one thing I don’t agree on, you say it’s not the quickest bike out there, yes that’s true but the 0-60mph time is around 3.2s and that’s quick enough for anyone believe me.
It is not a sport tourer, it is a sport bike yet isn't set up to win WSB like the other sports bikes are. Ducati noticed this hole developing in the market hence thuse bikes production. Don't review bikes anymore.
That’s a bit harsh and it is classed as a sports tourer, it even has Ducati luggage as an option. This bike is awesome and very comfortable for long journeys.

VtestDrive that is sad they can not pinpoint the problem. i hope that they eventually can.
