Its a super duper "lite" version of modded beat saber. Think of it of this method for strictly custom songs. This is due to there being no up to date versions of other mods. This can 100% be done on a pc following along. Just use chrome and go to the link in the description. There will be other mods as time goes on but the modding community hasnt created them yet.

By custom songs, do you mean all the songs that beat Saber has available, except you don't have to pay? Or do you mean our own personal songs in local storage?

@@BearskiVR Couldn't link my android meta app for some reason, had to use developer mode on my dads iPhone, had taken one step too many and already downgraded my beat saber so had to reverse that, the android closed and the password stopped working so my dad had to do some fancy stuff with it to fix it, but after all that it works (yippee!!!) and I BEAT ADHD FIRST TRY (YIPEEEEE) so thanks Bearski!

1:21 Even though I'm installing the latest Beat Saber version from the store, this doesn't allow me to downhrade because it constsntly thinks I'm on Beat Saber v1.29. And doing a fresh install from the Meta store didn't fix it.
I turned on developer mode I triple checked, I went to setting and changed it to connected device back and forth, and it still says no compatible device found. I think the wire is fine. I’m sad :( I used to have mods for beat saber and I removed them to play new songs but then meta came with the update that you can’t access files due to privacy. Help me pls 😭

I can't get any of the song downloaders to work. Mods working fine and I can add a song by hand with my pc and it works but the song downloaders are all stuck at 0%

Hello, it's me again, I have a problem. Because I wanted to connect my goggles to my laptop, but it won't let me because of my graphics card. It tells me that a graphics card driver update is required to configure the device, but I know it means full PVCR but I just want to connect it as if from the phone. Can this be fixed? or do I just have to wait for another way to get custom songs? or is this simply an update to the graphics card (I don't know how and this is the first time I've heard that you can update the graphics card) and not a purchase of a new one? because I don't know much about such things and I'm afraid of messing something up out of stupidity.
I’m thinking you are taking about the meta pc app? I tested this as well, you could ignore or do what I did and uninstall the app while you mod beatsaber then reinstall afterwards if you need the app.

i tired this and the sfx became weird and i’m hearing a lot of static. the sfx for slashing boxes became staticky. tried uninstalling and even factory resetting but didn’t work. does anyone know how to fix it?

I have one issue, every time i try to download beat together and the other multiplayer one it just doesn’t work and if i try to delete small mod like trick sabers it just doesn’t delete it. Those are v1.28 mods. They have not been updated to 1.36 yet. This is such new method that it essentially only has custom songs. Other mods will come in time.

Currently not available with this method. The modding community is working on the various updates but no eta on any of them. Qosmetics is confirmed to be working and will have a public release at some point in the future.

@@RileytheRuthless whichever connects to your headset. If it’s fairly recent, it should have a usbc port. So you could use the charge cable that came with the quest.
Can't happen, Meta implemented a security update imposed by google. Until Meta releases their own OS and allows the data/obb folders to be managed. It just can't happen.
I wish I had beat saber but when I bought the game, I didn't recieve the game and it took away my money. It would make my day if someone gifted me it 😁

@@RileytheRuthless whichever connects to your headset. If it’s fairly recent, it should have a usbc port. So you could use the charge cable that came with the quest.
