Click faster? You should definitely get a warning saying you are a developer or developer mode is turned on. This is a feature that hardcoded into the android operating system. Something will appear.
So install them and wait forever for each one to install, I start my game, nothing, I restart, and have to reinstall all the mods and wait another 20 minutes again, rinse and repeat. What am I doing wrong?
Wish I knew. It will eventually work. If it takes 20+ mins then there’s a different problem. I’d reinstall beat saber and quest app version switcher and start from the beginning .
In the quest 3 I get a message in the downgrades that mods are currently not able to be installed from within the app and that the dev team is working on it.

yo when i am trying to install core mods, i have everything done including quest 3 setting on and i click install core mods and it says only one mod installs and when i return to QAVS there are no mods installed
@ i figured it out… go to the backups tab and switch beat saber 1.28 backups and repatch making sure to select quest instead of scotland 2 in the drop down menu somewhere on the patch tab
I’m having trouble after you’re supposed to connect to GAVS around 7:30, it keeps telling me to add another number from the port, and when I put that number in it doesn’t connect. Any ideas?
Should be the number after the ip address. It will be different from the pairing code and the wireless port that shows after clicking on the get pair code.
followe this video step by step how ever when i was time to dowload the mod cores it said it was downloaded but on qavs i couldnt see the downloaded cores ?? even after i refreshed it thought i missed a step but did the same process by video word for word bar for bar and still got same problem (edit) then when i opened beatsaber it said that modding it was againts its terms or what not so i just decided to get a quest 2 and try from that one

I highly regret updating my game to see the newest version, I used to have a modded version before it with all my custom songs and mods, and now I can't get it back (I've been trying different things for 2 hours, and none of it is working). Edit: NEVERMIND, I GOT MY MODDED VERSION OF BEAT SABER BACK! I had to use my own custom method, which is kind of complicated to explain, but was really simple for me to do. I was going to delete this comment but other people are still having the issue of it not getting past the "Download starting" window, and that issue needs to be addressed.

NAAAAAA, I modded my headset at the beginning of the year and it worked fine, then about a month ago my BeatSaber wouldn't get past the loading screen so I reset my headset and started again but tell me why for the life of me the modding wont work for me anymore, I've gone through these steps SO MANT TIMES and it still wont load the custom song downloader when I reset the app or my headset, what am I doing wrong maaaan, please... anyone else?!

I got to the part where you had to check beatsaber for mods and restart your headset. I have to pair my lightning launcher to Quest but when i go back to the menu, my wireless debugging option wont toggle on anymore even when i click it. did they change something again?
When I hit uninstall it doesn’t actually uninstall my beat saver and then when I click install without having beatsaver downloaded it just doesn’t install

I'm still struggling to get the mods to show up in beat saber, I've run through the video a couple times (prob 30-40 minutes), hit shut down instead of restart and at this point I'm gonna let it sit for a while and try again later. Anything that connects to your network is technically on the network. This is to allow wireless adb commands to be sent to itself. Complicated but there’s no danger to it. Of course, mileage may vary. Proceed at your own volition. But for now, it’s definitely safe.
I followed all the steps, restarted the headset, both by just hitting restart and a full shutdown, i tried to open beatsaber but im still getting the vanilla game. Checked in qavs and i have to keep linking to lightning when i open it, also the mods i enabled keep resetting. So i repeat the process of linking and turning mods on, restarting and still nothing. Im missing nothing from the steps but there HAS to be something im missing if its working for others
Dude everything was going great until 10:00 i clicked install all core mods and it said "all done!" But when i go back it just says "none installed" help please

I followed everything correctly I believe but when I go to open beat saber it pops up with the “open app, restore, or close” but if I hit close or open app it just kicks me out of beat saber and I never make it into the game!

Hey for the downloading part it would not work I press download all and it does nothing and when I press the back arrow it shows nothing to Edit: I was only able to install 6 mods from pressing download all it’s the custom types, songloader, pink core, bmsl, paper, and tiny xml2

It’s always a proceed at your own risk.
This doesn’t do anything to your network, just allows qavs to run abd commands on your headset.

This is a really good tutorial and it works it's just that all the songs are spam songs and they are literally unplayable

Unfortunately Reesaber does not have a quest counterpart.

If your thingy crashes and shows a different guid keep opening and allow permisions untill it works and start eveerything over

Mods didnt actually install. re-pair with lightning launcher and install the mods again. Hopefully they'll stick this time.
@@BearskiVR i managed to do all of it but once i manually toggle on all of the mods and start beat saber they dont show up

@ju_bett4828 Good luck mate. I really do wish it was less janky. But thats just the state standalone modding is at the moment.
Every Time I open lightning launcher and go to android setting it freezes my headset
Restart headset, reinstall beat saber, lightening launcher and quest app version switcher.

Good luck to all that try the guide. Its quite the process but it will get the job done.

it says QAVS can currently not manage mods for Quest 3 :(
Need to go to tools and toggle quest 3 mod anyway on.
I can‘t download the core mods everytime i press the button there is an error. What should I do now?
@@isi20_73 highly likely that the wrong modloader was used.
What system are you using?
I‘m pretty sure i did everthing like in the video step by step but the page with the core mods looks different than in the video and i don‘t know why.

@@isi20_73ok he didn’t even explain it very clearly but I figured it out,at like 9:00 before u patch app you need to scroll down and switch Scot loader to quest loader then patch
@ last time this happened, the download server was down/having maintenance.
I followed everything correctly I believe but when I go to open beat saber it pops up with the “open app, restore, or close” but if I hit close or open app it just kicks me out of beat saber and I never make it into the game!
I did one similar to this and did the code thing already but now it won’t let me access the codes anymore to try this one, says I’m already a developer
You can skip that step then.

im on quest 3 so when i click installed mods it says quest app version switcher cant manage mods for quest 3 and it doesnt give me the button to get to the mod website is there an alternate way for me to get to the website?
I downgraded to 1.28.0v, installed all mods, restarted, started the app, re-enabled mods, started the game but the UI on the left doesn't appear... Can you help me?
Every time I restart the toggles are all confirmed but when I load in there is none

Download and install, if they don't appear in game then restart the headset and toggle them on. Keep going till it works.
when i start in the beginning i put it on the legacy and open the qavs and start it brings me not what u see
