Hi Kerry, I thought they would have been a lot harder to make. They look scrumptious and the best part you know what's in them. Can't wait to give them a try😋 Jen xx😘
Hi Kerry, great recipe as always, I made these today and they were yummy.. the only difference i made was I cut the dough into 8 and rolled into balls and flattened slightly, then cooked in the air fryer, they came out looking like 'real' doughnuts and were much appreciated... much like yourself.. take care Tilly.x
Hi There Dear Kerry, The Jam doughnuts one of my favourites ,it help them to rise in the second proofing to cover and put in a warm place , so they get a little bit larger and lighter in texture ❤
@budgetcookinguk I can't buy them either my other half is diabetic so I have to eat them all to myself 😂 can't buy Jaffa cakes either because I can't eat just one . Have a lovely evening Kerry off to have a look at these houses you are counting now 🌹🐈Xxxx
We do 5 for £1 Kerry but they're not the best, same with the custard filled ones,I bet your ones are 10 times better, great looking,I love a jam doughnut ,another enjoyable video flower Xx
@@budgetcookinguk I think Krispy Kreme jam doughnuts are £2 each, you're paying for the name I think,we're great Kerry and same to you, hope your Dad is getting better 💕Xx
If you have a smoothie mixer or food processor , you can give a couple of whizzes on the granulated sugar to make it more like castor sugar. After all that’s all it is, I do it often . Thank you for today enjoyed seeing what you did to get your tasty looking doughnuts . I think there are 5 in a packet. No sure on cost as haven’t brought them for ages .
I was going to say the same about the the sugar but if not food mixer a stick / immersion blender works just as well with sugar in a bowl and a few whizzes!
Evening Kerry, I've yet to attempt donuts in the air fryer, I have made them shallow frying them, I filled mine using a medicine syringe, and it was just the perfect size lol. I will definitely be attempting these at some point. I made Headless Gingerbread Men with edible blood last weekend, and they were 😋 . Thank you for making these. See you on the other side xxxx
Hiya Jacs! Your headless gingerbread men sound fantastic! Did you take a pic?! I made ginger biscuits the other day (vlog coming) in honour of my gran (her fav biscuit) 😄👍💕💕 hope you, colin and Harrison are well and gearing up for the big scary showdown!!👻👻👻👻
@budgetcookinguk 👋🏻, this was the first time I've ever made gingerbread men & they were bloody delicious. There are photos on my tiktok, but I will email you them. I didn't get the cutters delivered, so I had to make one out of cardboard 😂🙈. All ready for spooky day/night & then our weekend away 🥳🥳. We are all good and hope you all are too. Xxxx 💚❤️
@@jacquelinebuist1128 I'm off to oxford tomz to see two old friends I haven't seen for 30 years! Will vlog it (not seeing the old friends - they're very private but journey down and around the streets of oxford). Am excited lol. Always impressed with your ingenuity Jacs😀👍💕 would love to see them. I try to do tiktok but it annoys me too much lol
@budgetcookinguk Awwww amazing Kwrry, hope you have the best time and a fantastic catch-up. That will be another great vlog to watch out for. Och, thank you Kerry, just do what you can with what you have 🤣🤣. I've sent you them over. Aye tiktok is good for a nosey andideas, but it drives me insane also 😂😂😂. Have a lovely day tomorrow xxxx Jacs 💚❤️
Kerry they looked delicious and was making my mouth water but as we are off sugar at the moment we are not having anything sweet so I won’t be making them😏 but I really do love a jam doughnut but it has to have a lot of jam. I was thinking whether it would be the same if cut in half with the jam on top and possibly with cream or custard? 🤦♀️🤣 either way I bet they are lovely. I really love watching your channel Kerry looking forward to seeing what food ideas you’re doing for the Christmas.
Hi Kerry, from morrissons you get five dough nuts for £1.00 they used to fifty pence but every time i go in they have increased by five or ten pence they seem to cost more to make which is rubbish, so i dont buy them now.
Thank you Harry👋😀💕this reminded me - I used to buy then much more frequently when they were 70p for 5 (asda).prob a good thing the price went up cos I stopped buying them after seeing the price hikes! 😄👍
Those donuts look so tempting! Haven’t made in ages...would it be a bit easier to brush the melted butter on the hot donut, for softer crust, and shaking the donuts in small paper sack to coat with spices? Just a thought. 👵🏻
Hi Elaine, not a lot happening there at the moment, we are removing a fence at side of house so we can push it down the side - much more sheltered from the wind (front of house gets extremely windy in winter). Once that happens I might get a chance to film any progress but it's slow going (funds - lack of etc etc☺️)
You are a little gem. They look great. Thanks very much Kerry.
Oh that's lovely🥰🥰🥰
You definitely should be VERY IMPRESSED - my husband is champing at the bit for me to try these too! Thank you as always for the inspiration!!! ❤❤❤

That's an idea like it, I'll try that next time (in a couple of months!) 👋😀💕
Easier to put sugar in a bag to coat the warm doughnuts
Make double quantity next time haha xxx

Understandable with weather and cost of parts for old cars. Will carry on watching your cooking one and garden one.
