Spinach & Ricotta Airfryer Bakes 1 sheet of Puff pastry 60g/2 cups fresh spinach 200g/3/4 cup ricotta cheese 40g/1/2 cup grated parmasan or similar (I used grana padano) 1 egg, beaten 1/2 tsp garlic powder or granules salt & pepper to taste 7g/1tsp olive oil heat the oil in a medium sized pan, and add the spinach - fry off until wilted, remove from heat and set aside. In a medium sized bowl, add the cheese, parmasan (or similar), garlic powder, salt/pepper and the cooled spinach - and thoroughly mix. Meanwhile, lay out the sheet of pastry (take out of fridge 10/15 mins before needing it) and cut out 6 to 8 squares - depends on size of sheet. Using either eggwash, milk or water, wet the edges. Spoon the mixture into the centre of each square. Fold over to form a triangle, pressing down the edges with a fork. Brush the beaten egg over the tops. Line the crisper plates with parchment paper and place the pastry triangles on top (you may need to work in batches) on BAKE setting 190c/370f for 10 to 15 mins, flip for further 5 mins if needed. REHEAT from frozen, 190c for 10 to 15mins each side (you may need to extend time)
Hi Kerry, Spinach and Ricotta what's not to love🤷 throw in flaky pastry and I'm in heaven. Good to see that they freeze well. So many ways you could have these😋 Byee 👋Jen 💕😘xx
Thanks for all your great recipes and really enjoyable videos Kerry,I'm a steak bake guy and not a fan of spinach I'm afraid,I make these with Nutella for Heidi 💞Xx
Hi Kerry, that's me signed up for your membership scheme 😀 . Those look delicious, I'm looking forward to making my turkey, bacon, stuffing & cranberry parcels 😋😋. You've got me in the mood for those now, haha. Have a great day. Jacs xxxxx 💚❤️
That looked so tasty! It's something I'm definitely going to try, now that I'm more confident in my airfryer capabilities. I just made a whole roast chicken based on your vlog, and it turned out fantastic! Added a bit of chicken broth when I flipped it so it stayed moist but still crispy. Better than any supermarket rotisserie chicken for sure! Thanks, Kerry!
i have never tried ricotta, i keep meaning too but i always end up buying either cream cheese or cottage cheese because i know i like them :D but i do love spinach so will definitely be making a copy cat try . i always have puff pastry in the freezer, i get the frozen little square ones. a few months ago i woke around 2am and had a crave for something sweet like cheese cake but at 2am it had to be something fast too. i ended up making cream cheese and marmalade parcels. nothing extra added, just the cheese and marmalade wrapped in pastry. 10 minbutes in the ninja and absolutely hit the spot.
Hello Kerry, gosh you are going to start me "cooking" again ! I adore spanacopita and haven't had it for years.....will have to get myself a rolling pin 😊 Kind regards from Cheshire.
Hi Kerry, sorry that you've not been feeling well, hope you feel better soon. Well these look simply yummy, yet another of your great recipes, will definitely try these..... I also like cooked chicken, chorizo, mushroom and ricotta in puff pastry, but haven't made them for some time. Take care Tilly x
Hi, love your videos and have this Cosori dua basketl. With regards to the Ninja and stopping sync cooking, I also have the Ninja AF400. To stop one drawer cooking, just press the drawer number and then the start/stop button. Hope this helps🙂
It’s surprising how much spinach disappears when you cook it isn’t it. I made a pesto type sauce the other day , thinking I had far to much, but I could hardly see it when it was blended . Your pasties look lovely. Thank. You . Sorry you have had this bug , I have had it for 7 weeks , ending up,at gps today with a sinus and chest infection , but feeling awful ,si I know how you must be feeling or have felt. A quicke is nice , but no pastry used , healthy for those waiting to loose weight etc. by the way onion granules are nice as well. I could taste that myself as you were eating it.
