Super Cool ECA Traction Gated Service Elevator - 432 W Belmont Ave - Chicago, IL

[Recorded December 2023] This is the service car in the same building as that beautiful ECA. While this one is definitely nowhere near as pretty, it's very cool in its own way. The cab is completely exposed to the hoistway so you can see everything as it moves, and this one has a scissor gate and a swing door rather than traditional sliding doors. You can get a good look at the retiring cam and up the hoistway
