This seemed like Lego’s only foray into a truly sandbox game. I wish they modernized it because a Lego sandbox game utilizing modern computing power would be great.
I loved LegoLand back in the day, though I never played the free mode, I really think that the game shines in the story mode which are basically the scenarios. I wish I could play it again but the Installer on the CD is only 16 bit so it won't work on my PC..
Actually, the installer of the game is only 16 bit, the game itself is 32 bit. People have made a 32 bit installer so you can install it on a pc with a modern OS
You need to use an alternative installer linked on the game's PCGamingWiki. If you have the CD inserted, it's a great work around to getting this game running on Windows 10.
uglydutchboy Lego Rock Raiders must have been the single most mesmerising game of my childhood... Isn't there a modded version of it full of bugfixes and improvements now?
I've never gotten Lego Creator to work Ever Not even on the very first computer we had Keep these up - you're still missing out *checks drawer* Alpha Team Chess and of course Rock Raiders, but that might not be "forgotten..." it lives on in our hearts (and computers, most of the time) at RRU. I really enjoy these. Thank you for making them!
I used to play LEGO creator as a kid and just build cities to blow up and then When I got bored I’d place enough bombs to crash my computer and that would be that
LOL. I loved the ending. That devious smile was just excellent. You, LazyGameReviews, and PushingUpRoses are by far some of my favorite PC gaming focused channels out there. Keep up the great work, Mr. 4Life :D
Man, I love watching these and seeing all the different kinds of Lego games I didn't even know existed. And man, that Gryphon Bricks game looked like it wanted to be Lego so bad, haha. Loved the video, man! Can't wait for the finale! =)
I remember I got Legoland and my brother got Rollercoaster Tycoon on the same Christmas. RCT seemed so grown up and complex in comparison. I didn't touch it until months later. Even though I enjoyed Legoland a lot, probably forcing myself to due to my love for the brand, I was unsatisfied with the ride building options. I remember having to unlock sloping tracks for the roller coaster. I also found the guests hard to satisfy, and I'd fail to pass the objectives with awesome parks just because I didn't meet a specific criteria.
PLEASE of all things PLEASE do a series/mini-series/episode with the length of like the dinosaur episode for the spongebob pc games like Employee of the Month and Battle For Bikini Bottom, as well as Lights Camera Pants; literally they are my favorite besides lego and freddi fish games from when I was younger (I still play spongebob and even the other 2 today)
Oh my god, that Glover main menu track. I always crack a smile when I see someone else knows about Glover, and it's not just me. Also, I love LEGO Creator with all my heard, I love LEGO Island more, of course, though Creator still has a place in my heart. And to think I got the game from a cereal box, as well.
While LEGO Racers will always be my favorite LEGO game, Creator does have a small place in my heart. And it's cool to hear that someone recognized the Glover music! I actually talked about the game on my buddy longarms' channel a little while ago. Have a look if you'd like! /watch?v=WQIaRoEPqPs
***** Yeah, I'm just happy to meet anyone that actually remembers Glover, that game despite it's control issues at times is on my top 3 for Nintendo platformers. It's an extremely unique concept I'd more than welcome a return of in today's bland market, the ball physics were fantastic, the music is ridiculously memorable, and It just tried to be different with success in my opinion. It's actually funny, considering I originally planned to get a used copy of DK64 at the time, and ended up getting Glover for two bucks. I feel like I stole the game these days with how much fun I still have with it, despite beating it 100% several times. Anyway, rambling, I'll definitely take a look at the video as well.
I've actually done some tinkering with Legoland to make Jonathon shut up. I deleted the speech folder and used a no CD crack to make sure it doesn't pick it up from the CD. Not sure if that was an optimal way to do it, and I have my doubts that I can use this kind of work around on other old Lego games.
Lego Creator was a big deal for me as a child, I was able to make so many vehicles and see them come to life which was my favorite part so I guess if they made a modern version of the thing I would probably give it a go.
I remember both games, when I was a child! So can we say, Lego Creator is the grandfather of Minecraft? Because of the building-potential, explosions, creativity etc.?
I was a bit to young to completely understand Legoland. I remember building the boating ride but not understanding that you had to build the water paths so I never progressed. I just played the first couple levels over and over…
Honestly, jumping into Free Play was probably a bad decision. The mission mode is way better, plus it unlocks like 80% of the content in the game as you complete it.
When I was 11 I got this game from my library, I started playing the tutorial and story mode, there was one part of the tutorial you couldn't finish or it was just broken, you had to place a pirate ship in water. Btw if you want a good version of lego creator you should get Lego Worlds on steam
the Legoland Park was my favourite game, but it has a bug that dont let you complete the story. theres one mission where you need to delete your buildings. when you do it,nothing happens
Legoland came out in May 2000. It was supposed to come out July 1999 but got majorly delayed for some reason. Definitely not April 1999, and also even more blatantly taking inspiration from RCT.
8:10 I tried gryphon bricks, it was ok. I wish if gryphon software made a remastered version of gryphon bricks, 3d view, 3d bricks and figure and I wonder what 3d game engine they would use to do that, C++? Godot or Torque game engine or something?
I've just burst in tears of laughter here after watching your video!!! XD I haven't been so amused in years. Mega Blocks was one evil company... Then again since the invention of the plastic bricks, LEGO has always filled its own niche in the toy market so as to enjoy the status of a monopoly. Also, seeing how many legal references you have made in the few videos of yours I've just watched, I'm wondering: have you studied law?
That's awesome, thank you so much for watching my videos! Mega Bloks will never top LEGO, haha. I have little interest in law, the amount of references that I have included is pretty much just coincidental.
Yes, I know. That's why I included LEGO as a potential copyright infringer. They didn't make Build with Chrome, but obviously they were apart of the development.
There's a video of some kid with his dad and they are playing Lego Creator and they have helicopters crash into tall towers. The video was filmed a few days before 9/11.
***** If you put in more effort into the title card and thumbnail I think you'd get more views, just saying. Your editing is really good though. I already have an Idea for the Thumbnail, tell me if you like it: sta.sh/01m72iit0iz5
Wow thanks for making that! The thumbnail isn't bad at all and I do see the effort that you put into it! Unfortunately the typical thumbnail size on UA-cam is really small making smaller images and smaller text hard to read. I think I'll stick with what I have, but I certainly appreciate the offer.
***** maybe I'll use it if I ever get around to making videos, it is awesome to meet someone else who played every pure Lego game, I remember loving to play around in creator, though I couldn't run it ever since my mom did an upgrade on the family PC back in like 2007 and I couldn't play it after that. I do remember playing Knight's kingdom, you should review that since it was a tad different from the original.
oh my god Lego creator was so slow it was really one of the hardest things to play on our very slow computer...crazy I had mostly forgotten about it but there was always something that drew me to gmod and minecraft and it was those elements from creator..with it's sound effects and pace and general loneliness....idk kids these days would call that 'liminal'
I had a gold printed PC box game from big lots (some of my fav PC memories from there ) , with a collection of 6 Lego games (creator, Legoland, friends, the spy team one, and idk what else). As a kid I was so blown away finding it..it was the only copy and rather obscure. I could barely get it to work but I cherished it.
I played Lego Creator as a kid and remember exactly nothing about it aside from the wizard. I don't even know where I got it considering it was, like, 2009 or something and I was probably around 5. I dunno,.
"Eh? What's Build with Chrome?" ~looks it up~ "Oh, something that stopped allowing you to build over a year and a half ago... Well shit." Although considering it was made to promote Chrome, I wouldn't have been into it. I'm a Firefox person.
I had Lego Creator as a kid. I tricked the game into letting me drive a car as a plane, and immediately pretended I was Ron Weasley driving the car.
Lol when i get my hands on a copy of the game ima try it.
Wish there was a train mod for it.
This seemed like Lego’s only foray into a truly sandbox game. I wish they modernized it because a Lego sandbox game utilizing modern computing power would be great.
Have you ever played Lego Worlds?
I loved LegoLand back in the day, though I never played the free mode, I really think that the game shines in the story mode which are basically the scenarios.

Use a virtual machine ;)

Can we see Rock Raiders/Alpha Team, and the Lego Harry Potter Creator games?????
uglydutchboy not anymore

8-BIT hush

Man, I loved the Lego Creator game back in the day. You can really go overboard with it.
I would wish that someone made a Legoland game that is something like Rollercoaster Tycoon or Planet Coaster.
"Number Four! Atticipate the Lawsuits" 10/10 best line
I've never gotten Lego Creator to work
Ever
Not even on the very first computer we had
Keep these up - you're still missing out *checks drawer*

I really enjoy these. Thank you for making them!

Holy shit he sounds like Gary from Bully the game!
Glad I’m not the only Bully fan!
RIP Blockland the only real LEGO game
LOL. I loved the ending. That devious smile was just excellent. You, LazyGameReviews, and PushingUpRoses are by far some of my favorite PC gaming focused channels out there. Keep up the great work, Mr. 4Life :D
Haha thanks man! I appreciate the support.
These old Lego games, I love seeing them again years after playing them. Keep it up!
Thanks for watching! Will do.
my friend owned Lego Land on his Playstation. we used to play that sooo much!
For real thought back to this series the other day
Pure nostalgia. Thank you for this vid.
You're welcome, thanks for watching!
Man, I love watching these and seeing all the different kinds of Lego games I didn't even know existed. And man, that Gryphon Bricks game looked like it wanted to be Lego so bad, haha. Loved the video, man! Can't wait for the finale! =)
Thank you so much Marc! Can't wait for you and everyone else to see the finale! =)
That Griffin Bricks game reminds me of LEGO Digital Designer.
oh god this is 6 years old already? i loved these videos
I bought this game this Christmas because I use to play it when I was very young and it’s still amazing
This and all your vids are great. I love the italian job music near the end. Thanks for the amazing childhood memories:)
Thank you so much! Glad I could bring back some memories! :)
+Vectrex4Life thanks again :)
holy crap, Lego Creator used to run at 1fps on my home computer
I remember I got Legoland and my brother got Rollercoaster Tycoon on the same Christmas. RCT seemed so grown up and complex in comparison. I didn't touch it until months later.

Yes it does.

Awesome video! Can't wait for the Lego Marathon Finale! You've created a really funny and interesting series out of the Lego games. Keep it up!
Thanks man, appreciate it!

Ah. I really like your videos. Been watching them for years and it's awesome to see you getting more views and making better videos. You go.
Thank you so much! But really, thank YOU for watching them!
his voice is soo smooth
This feels so 2008, in the best way possible.
It's a cheap-ass rollercoaster tycoon. I loved it as a kid dearly.
You should do a video on the sequels of lego creator! Really enjoyed this video :)
I forgot about this game and I loved it.
That freeplay asset limit was used to prevent ram / vram limits of pcs of that era if I remember correctly
Forgotten??? These were my fav games as a kid :D Im glad I found this vid
Btw I still listen to legoland soundtrack its the best Ive ever heard.. Been listening to it for like 13 years now
This is so freaking nostalgic to me.
you have no idea how great your content is. holy crap.
Thank you so much, appreciate it! :)

Thank you so much! Glad to hear you enjoyed it!

I played LEGO Creator in my childhood.
I didn't really like it because of the mess, but I still enjoyed it....
Awesome video man!
Thanks dude!
I have both of these. Didn't know they were forgotten!
The thing at the end was hilarious and the entire video was awesome like all your others :D
Haha thanks! I definitely enjoyed making that part!
Don't normally care for sketches but that one was actually pretty good.
Thanks!
another great Lego video keep it up Vectrex4life

I got that game with Lego Creator! It's less fun tho imo
And I thought this channel was dead, great videos you got dude! :)
Oh this channel will never die. Thanks for watching!

In a funny way.
Hey Vectrex! Great video again. I was thinking that could you do game craver episode 2? I have waited that.

6:36 Naked Civillians VS Firefighters War
Two questions, 1, did you ever manage to raise the flight path in Lego creator? 2, is some of the music from the Italian job game on ps1?
I don't believe I changed the flight path. And yes, one piece of music is from The Italian Job! Didn't expect anyone to recognize it haha.
XD That ending!
GREAT VID!
I played Lego Creator as a kid and remember exactly nothing about it aside from the wizard. I don't even know where I got it considering it was, like, 2009 or something and I was probably around 5. I dunno,.
Keep up the great work! :D
Thanks, will do!
Hope so!
should i get LEGO Creator? it looks like a very fun game.
I just don't know...
Yes. Just be aware of possible compatibility issues.
Thanks for the advice!
I'm gonna buy it now.
I lost my copy of creator sadly, and god knows where it is now, should be around somewhere.
Archive.org to the rescue: archive.org/details/LEGOCreator I haven't tried it personally, but the Archive Project hasn't let me down yet.
OOH New video!! And probably a great one!
And it was.
Haha thanks man!
+Vectrex4Life You're welcome! Anticipating the next one (:))
Just bought a commodorev vic 20 today and got some vintage lego sets from the late 90s that were in lego racers 2
Nice video vectrex!!!!
Oh nice! Thanks for watching.
holy shit
I went from watching your lego racers 2 video to watching this
what a fucking diference
What a difference indeed! Thanks for watching.
Your humor is great :)
Damn your voice is really deep now. Where the fuck have I been this whole time? XD
Haha indeed it has.
Your videos are a lot better too. Keep up the good work.
Legoland... Not enough green... That's wat I remember
I liked it because of the cactiscreams.
So cool
thumbnail is more like
"WAT" grandma

Although considering it was made to promote Chrome, I wouldn't have been into it. I'm a Firefox person.
Heh, I'm a Firefox guy as well. I didn't know Build with Chrome was even a thing until I started researching for this video.
Yeeeah I trust Firefox, and it offers more for coders than Chrome. What we need is Build with Firefox made in WebAssembly. =P LOL
Someone should make a rollercoaster tycoon mod but legoland themed
I never forgot legoland
Lego nerds rejoice! An new Forgotten games is here!
All guys in the Legoland game didn't appear in any Lego sets, I don't know why
Is there any chance of you uploading more
Of course I'll be uploading more! The LEGO games finale will be coming up next! Then regular Forgotten Games episodes will return.
Good Stuff 😀
i used to play LEGOLAND all the fuckin time as a kid. I could never pass the tutorial lol.
Hey, I was a dumb baby kid when I played this game, so the tutorial was helpful.
1:33 when i click this button the game just closes and crashes what do i do about it? is there a way to fix this problem?
