love the yellow pointed hand!
☝️
Mazda could seriously win this segment if they release a more hardcore version of this for under $40k, with a manual and upgrades to exhaust, brakes, and suspension. I would like a bigger turbo for more of a 300/300 power curve instead of 250/320. I hope the aftermarket has some good offerings for enthusiasts, because this car is just so sexy compared to competitors. Sidenote: I'd rather have 30 or 60fps youtube videos than any resolution @ 24fps. Most people aren't watching on 4k devices, but are watching on 60Hz displays ;) Cheers!
i'd buy it. I buy manuals cars new when i can.
As a current tech at maz and a speed owner, This video is freaking sick man. Def got a subscriber.
I just picked up my 2021 Mazda 3 AWD GT Turbo... I'm friggin in love.
The infotainment screen is perfect you’re not sitting at home in front of your laptop you’re in a car.
Thank you. Everybody has their own opinion and taste. That's why you can go and buy whatever you like. Personally I hate those touchscreens that look like you just slapped an iPad on the dashboard and not a fan of fingerprints also.
I just bought one today :) 2.5T Premium Plus edition, black on black
Me to but in sedan
@@wilchambers1401 Congrats man, how are you liking it so far?
@@Revelatus how is interior room? I’m 6’0, skinny, and I want to make sure I have tons of room for the front and rear.
@@G0ddammitB0bBy69 Sedan may be different, but my hatch has plenty of room for me up front, but the back seat will be cramped for anyone over probably like 5'10. I am about the same height as you for reference. One thing that kind of bugs me but is probably just a "me" problem, is the armrest on the door sticks out a bit and if I try to sit with my left foot far backwards, my knee hits it. It won't be a problem for most people I don't think, I just sit weirdly lol. It's actually started to force me out of that habit which might be a good thing. If you place your left foot on the dead pedal where it belongs like a normal person, it will be zero issue. Otherwise the interior is really comfortable and high quality.
It's a compact car, so unless you're not used to driving compact cars it might seem small to you. But I came from an RX-8 so it seems big to me lol.
Best thing to do would be go find one to test drive :)
@@Revelatus loving it!!!
I got the 25 Turbo Premium Plus yesterday and I’m still sitting here watching this video admiring it
The most thorough Mazda 3 turbo review of them all! 👌
I should trade my 22 Sentra for this car. But I still have 2 more years left to pay on it. But after that I’m buying a Mazda. My first car was a 1983 Mazda GLC hatchback with a sunroof and it was a manual transmission. The only thing I didn’t like about it was it was not equipped with air conditioning. But a lot of cars in 1983 also didn’t have it come standard.
Bout to grab one of these tomorrow. Super handy video as a lot of the little things are overlooked even by the dealership critters.
i think its the best hatchback design from mazda..😍
I think it's the best hatchback design PERIOD
I agree. Long awaited.
Very nice review. Especially since the turbo has been awaited since the Mazda3's current generation debut in 2019, it should be mentioned that the power ratings you stated were for regular gas. Specifically: Mazda's 2.5-liter turbocharged I4 makes 250 horsepower and 320 pound-feet -- if you run premium fuel, anyway. Stick with 87-octane gas and the power drops to 227 hp and 310 lb-ft.
I bought a CX-30 turbo premium plus.I actually have 93 and 94 octane and just filled it up with what I belive is its first premium tank and took it on the HWy and the vehicle is very fast.It can hit triple digit speeds very easily.I just sold a 2020 AWD stinger GT 3.3TT for a lot more then i paid for it.I bought the CX-30 outright and pocketed thousands.I have 2k in mods and with an exhaust and bigger better performance tires it is easily a low to mid 5 second to 60 car.My stinger had 370 lbs of torque in a 4200 lb car and this has 320 lbs of torque in a 3500 lb car--so its torque to weight ratio is great.I have driven a Type R civic and golf R and they may be slightly faster then this--but you literally have to floor those to get any speed because they do not develop the down low torque--you can definetly take many cars off the line and in midrange with this vehicle.Someone in a forum posted a list of cars this was faster then and it shamed a lot of sport coupes like Civi SI's--Subarus cvts--toyota 86--even base model X1 and Q3--which were 10k more.In fact at 35k and under I believe only the veloster n is faster then this.It is also faster then a Golf GTI--ua-cam.com/video/CxDduCfB3Fk/v-deo.html
No reviewers has talked about the handle opening and locking, thank you!! I was hoping I didn’t have to pull out the clunky key thingy.
Lol, I've watched about 40-50 reviews of this car, and I swear, you're the first man who showed a sunroof in details))) It is also interesting to see the difference in the interior for different regions. For example, USA cars don't have a sliding lid for cupholders (one of my favorite features), but you have extensions for visors. Also, there is a difference with a glovebox. Yours has a closed volume, but in Poland, I can see the car's insides through it.
You found your niche, the toy hand is hilarious
Very long video, but as someone who Can’t Wait to take delivery of their 2023 mazda 3 AWD TURBO, Mazda3Speed Edition, (NOT MazdaSpeed-3… in Canada we don’t get the Premium Plus edition that comes with the 2-Piece Front Lip-Skirt and Rear Wing Spoiler, …we have to order the TOP OF LINE/ FLAGSHIP AWD TURBO, with OEM Full 5-Piece Mazda3Speed Edition AeroSport BodyKit for $3800 !)
I wished to see what combination lets it rev to Redline, as I’ve seen it done, without ‘ShortShifting’ :
…is it if traction controls off?
…All I-Active sensing off?
…in Sport Mode and Trip-
tronic / Manu-matic ?
Would’ve been nice to finally crack that code !!
Thanks for the all the thorough information Mike !
Much respect from Toronto, ONTARIO, Canada 🇨🇦!!!
Beautiful inside and out. Oh, and it drives incredibly good.
That finger 👆🏼is killing me 🤣
The only Chanel that showed how far the moon roof go back nice ☑️
excellent and very detailed review... i'm buying this vehicle, so i've saved this video. it's better than reading the manual. :p
Nice car wow
Thanks for the review Woody Harrelson. Nice car.
Great video, man. I personally would rather the steering wheel buttons look nice and take a little time and remember them.
Im subscribing just because of that yellow hand!! lol
I have the exact same car except no two tone interior. The arm rest slides back to accommodate your seat position. If you happen to drive with the seat all the way back. 👍
Do all of the models with the black leather interior have that orange looking tint? I am not a fan of that.
Can you share the ground clearance with this body kit?
It's optional in my country and I'll decide whether to get it or not based on the ground clearance.
Good review I enjoyed it. Thank you for the walk throw you even thought me some stuff I didn’t know about the new Mazda 3 that I just bought.
nice introduction. I love it
I loved this review
on my gen 3, the headlight switched to off does NOT turn off the daytime running lights...are you sure it turns it OFF ?
Yes

Great Review
这个配置有没有手动挡的Chex
Remarkably detailed -- great video. A few followups:
1) Are those same pillar blind spots also on the sedan?
2) Pretty significant scratches on the gloss-black of the console at 41:18. Really scratches easily, I guess.
3) Did you look at the non-premium? I don't do leather and was curious about what you give up.
4) You seemed to be saying the console wasn't ideal in a number of respects - wonder if 2022 will fix these?
5) Is the dipstick under the engine cover? Interesting.
1) The sedan does have thick-ish pillars, but for a modern car, the sedan’s outward visibility is pretty good.
2) The gloss black is notorious for being scratch prone. If you buy one of these, I’d get the piano black trim covered in PPF right away.
3) The base Turbo comes with leatherette, which would be fine except the material isn’t perforated. Thus, the seats don’t “breathe” well and your legs and keester are covered in sweat even during short trips on mild days. For me, that makes the Premium Plus (which has perforated leather) a must.
4) Personally I don’t find the console problematic at all. I doubt any/many changes will be made for 2022.
5) The dipstick is just to the left of the oil fill cap - the other hole that’s in the engine cover.
Hope this helps!
@@drivedb7 perfect. Thx.
Great review! Thanks for this. I’m swapping out my ‘19 Premium Hatch and I’m concerned about the lag - do you know if there’s a reliable Stage 1 tune yet?
The reviewer doesn’t know what he’s talking about the turbo was designed specifically to not have lag.
Fantastic review. This and your light review covered every single inch of the car and I love it! Hoping your channel grows :)
Are there no speakers in the back?
Is it modifiable is the question!
👍
I know Im kind of off topic but do anyone know a good site to stream newly released tv shows online?
I saw the yellow hand magnet with your channel name on it next to the Mazda logo on the hatch. Where can I get one?

@@MikesCarInfo thank you, man!
very nice design key and car. i wanted a subaru, but they insist on neutral/almost non appealing interior.
Needs factory remote start. Come on Mazda
It is functional through Mazda Connected Services in the My Mazda app, just not a button on the fob
@@ericelliott3635 How long before they charge you to use the app? Even if they don’t charge you just convenience to have the key fob almost every car manufacturer by now has it
@@ImYoutubing247 Name me any manufacturer that charges their customer to use their respective app and maybe I'll pretend to bite. Until I see evidence or reason for them to do so, i see it as a conspiracy. There's no corner they're backing their customer into when they could just ditch the app and buy aftermarket remote start. They'd have wasted their own R&D dollars to intensively drive customers away.
@@ericelliott3635 GM. The remote start function on their app which also includes unlocking locking the vehicle and a bunch of other stuff is free for like a year and then they charge you to use those features. I have a 2019 equinox my first year it was free last year I started getting charged $10 a month to use certain features, including remote start.
@@ImYoutubing247 okay, but do they offer remote start on the fob as they always have?
Forgot to mention 250hp on Premium Gas ⛽!!

@@pedrorivera2308 I rarely include specs in my videos.
@@MikesCarInfo Not trying to be a pain, but you should if its Ultimate depth 👍
@@pedrorivera2308 In-Depth --->Look. My videos focus on the direct experience with the vehicle. Specs are abstract from our daily experience and do not convey how we interact with the vehicle. Also, there are quite a lot of specs. It is much more productive to allow people access to the spec sheet instead of reading it to them.
Yes keeping the money drawer
That yellow hand pointy thing is creepy
Good video, but Mazda reduces distractions so your complaints about lane assist (which can be disabled) are not helpful. I am surprised for an ultimate video there was no driving at all.
There is a link in the description to the test drive video.
ua-cam.com/video/IQbgUQr4Bt4/v-deo.html
Mazda claims they reduce distractions in their marketing but I find it to be quite the opposite in all their vehicles.
@@MikesCarInfo I under stand your point about the buttons, but they do reduce distractions by not having a touchscreen, by positioning he screen in a better line of sight and by engineering the car to be more peaceful

Please please do a review of the Lexus GX460 day and night
Is it AWD?
yes
Is the top speed of this thing really only 130 mph?
Anything faster you could get a speeding ticket.

just carry it for a tune so that it can run like how it really can

Aww..so no horn check?
Sorry :(

It is spacious for the back seat unless the front passenger takes too much space for himself.
Yes you are right specially the back of the seats were designed to give more leg room for passengers

CHECK OUT THIS HIDDEN MAZDA OPTIONS VIDEO ; link at the bottom :
So, the CarPlay trick only works on the CX-50 only. It’s the only Mazda with full CarPlay touch screen. (Maybe the new CX-90 has it too?)
But thank you for the window trick, and auxiliary power trick for the infotainment.
Already knew about the the KICK DOWN, and that you could switch the tilt down reverse mirror from left to right, or both off !!!
Does everyone know that you HOLD THE HOME button to switch between Mazda infotainment and Apple carplay ?! (So you don’t have to click on the MAZDA icon in apple CarPlay !?!
***ALSO - Also, you can LAUNCH the Mazda 3 by 1.) turning off traction control, 2.) putting the gear shift in triptronic -manual-shift, 3.) Put the car into SPORT MODE. Then you can Launch it !!!

227hp 320 torque on a 2.5??? What is this a tow truck?!?🤣😂
It is not a torqueless Honda that you need to rev to red line to get it moving.... love power reserve without fatigue of pushing engine in high rpm band. Kind of feel like small V8 power band, very cool and unique
You know you could get more views if you clickbait people thinking it has a six speed manual🤣🤣
Yeah... this car needs a manual or at least a better automatic.
