Hi Pascal, I’m an avid fan of the A320 and Airbus aircrafts in general and I’m trying to study A320 systems. This video is gold for me! Being a sim I love the spirit in the cockpit and the professionalism at the same time. Just one thing struck me. I’m not TR and I’m not an ATPL pilot, but as far as I know the A320 doesn’t have the automatic DES at T/D. As far as I know it’s a feature present in the A350, I don’t know the A330 but you sure will 😅 but not in the A320 family (or at least in the CEO) FCOM: “The aircraft will not start its descent automatically when reaching the top of descent (T/D). In order to initiate the descent, the flight crew sets the clearance altitude by turning the ALT knob then pushes the ALT knob.” Keep doing your amazing videos and thanks!
I’m working currently on my multi-engine it’s nice to see that besides the more extensive processes you go through with a more advanced aircraft, the basics of setting up the pre-flight preparations are more or less the same. So understanding everything is a little more easier then let’s say if I had no training at all. Fantastic video mate.
As a fan of the Airbus A320 and an avid flight simmer I'd like to thank you for all your great content. This video in particular was very useful for me, as I fly for the Virtual EWG in MSFS20 flying the Fenix A320 predominantly. It's great to see real world pilots using their airlines real world procedures in a simulated flight. I often only fly EWG real world routes and fly with as close to the real world procedures within the limitations of the sim. I follow Stefan from Approach & Departure Videos channel as he is a EWG Airbus Captain and along with your content find his content invaluable for replicating EWG flights. Just a question to confirm the acronym you use for programming the FMC, do you use DFSRIP or DIFSRIP? I know that the first I is for inputting INIT A after you receive the preliminary load sheet, and then the last I is INIT B once you have all your passengers boarded and the dispatcher gives you the final load sheet, before disconnecting from the gate. Also I'm curious to know whether you use single engine taxi out and in much and is it engine 2 you shut down or in case of pushing from the gate which engine do you then start if doing a single engine taxi on a long taxi to the active runway? Is it still starting with engine 2 and would you then start engine 1. Id love to see you do more simulator stuff, even if its not full motion sim, a desktop sim session would be great too. Just one showing how to programme the EOSID. Anyway thanks for your great content once again. Fly safe.
Sorry for the late answer! The knowledge you gained by flying simulators is immense I can tell that! Keep going mate 🙌 I use DIFSRIP as you explained correctly! In our company we only to single engine taxi in! In this case we turn of the second shortest three minutes after landing! Indoor that helps. Have a good one 🙌✌️ thanks for watching! 😊
Once the aircraft is favourable and the test are good. How much fuel do we need ? Where are we going ? Are all the passenger arrived ? What are the conditions that we need to be aware of. It seems like small thing but they are essential for safety and to fix any issue. It’s better to prepare and avoid issue rather than fixing them.
Maybe they are not pilot and it’s only for fun. But in the real word we talk about time as in slot or pushback time , taxi time, whether , payload, even before entering the aircraft we know our departure arrival etc. In aviation we are always a step ahead. No excuses.
Can somebody help me understand why they chose BARO Minima instead of RADIO Minima. EDDM08R has a CAT II/III ILS approach and I always thought that you would use the RADIO Minima in this case
First ,when you turn on the battery make sure you have the right voltage and are their charger. the emergency light armed, no smoking auto or on, you should be able to get a ground power or any ground supply for the aircraft, the APU make a lot of noise on the ground and it’s not favourable for the ground crew. If you need jet fuel seatbelts off, if you don’t need any seatbelt on. Ground recording on and do the test. After for your IRS one at the time and wait till the red battery is off and the provide to number 2 and 3. Don’t just push bouton ask you’re self why I’m a doing this and do I need it.
Bro you responded as fast as the A320 Crz spd 😂😂😂😂another reason to like your person very fanbased guy hats up💪🏽got my last 4 exams at the Lba any suggestions how to pass just a few days left and Im more excited than I was before the other ones cause these are the last four as i mentioned🥲
49:04 he said the plan will make an automatic descent at that point which is “ top of descent “ 😂 thats completely wrong its just a symbol telling you should descend here, aircraft can simply pass that point and will not commence descent unless you you go for managed or selected descent

Thank you Amani! Appreciate it man 🙌 enjoy your MEP rating. I loved flying the DA-42 ✈️✌️
You should try the fenix a320 in microsoft flight simulator 2020. Very realistic and detailed mod.
I already did, absolutely loved it 🙌💪
@@Pascalklr Then as a real pilot how close do you think it is to the real thing?
Wow this seems amazing! I want to be a A330 or A350 pilot one day1
Enjoy the video 🙌 make your dream a reality both are fantastic planes ✌️✈️
Having fun with you two!
Love your content. You deserve more subs with this quality content! Keep up the great work.
Thank you very much!✌️
So far enjoying this video! Thanks for taking your time to make long videos like these I thoroughly enjoy learning about flying!! 🛩
Thanks a lot Bray! Appreciate it a lot. 🙌🛫
Danke Schön Pascal and Captain! Really an awesome and well made flight video! A great pleasure to watch 🤩😍👍🏼✈️😊
That’s great to hear mate! Which part was your favorite ? ✌️✈️
Great idea to have a full flight in a simulator. It is a amazing how real to life everything is in a simulator flight.
So true, glad you liked it 🙌
Love the video. If you two get the chance, I would love to see more such as handling an emergency
I love to watch your videos man keep up the hard work and post more .❤️✈️
Thanks a lot I really appreciate it 🙌✈️
Image the pilot is saying "I haven't got my glasses on" (01:07:47). I wouldn't feel safe 😂🤣

Overall nice video, like your energy you seem like nice guys. Have a great flight !

How delightful to be a pilot. I admire your bravery and smart profession. But I would never want my husbund to be a pilot or gynecologist.

That was really nice to see a full flight in the simulator!
When do you think you will let us know what the mysterious item was? 😀
Andrew Fields
Hey Andrew, thank you very much!
totally forgot about it!!!! SORRY.
I'm going to show it in the next Simulator video 🙌✌️
@@Pascalklr okay! I will look forward to seeing what it is!
Nice video man! Currently doing my integrated ATPL and was wondering which weather app the captain was using?
We are both using aero weather ✌️✈️
Wouldn’t the PTU feed the yellow system when ENG 1 is started first?

Lovely! keep getting content like this, good job 👍💯❤
Thanks I’ll do my best! ✌️✈️
Thanks so much Pascal, always very interesting, 🙌🙌🛫
Thanks Lucas! 🙌
Why does the video fps keep dropping every few minutes? its making it quite hard to watch :/
But other than that its a nice video. :)
Good video .. Thanks for sharing
Always learn so much from these videos, keep it up bro🙏🏻
That’s nice to hear, thank you! It’s always one of my goals to teach one something 🙌✈️
Hi captain! What application do you use for calculations on the iPad and can it be used?
That’s a program published by Airbus. So unfortunately it’s not for everyone. Sorry ✌️😊
I very love you video ❤️
Thank you! 😊
How tall is your Captain he looks immersive and intimidating nevertheless he is a very lovely person as kind as one could be thumbs up for you two❤
He is really big, I think around 196cm ✌️

Nice. Ciao.
Very cool
Thank you ✌️
Where i can download soft for performance?
See you the next :-))
what happened to the GS on appr😂
Simulator had an issue. Couldn’t figure it out ✌️
Nice vid!!
love this guys!!!!
Man I feel bad for the cameraman. Such an expensive set of gear to get footage as noisy, shaky and out-of-focus as he did.
Nice Video
Vielen Dank 🙌✌️

ENG 1 start first or ENG 2?
Depends which plane you fly. A330 you start the ENG 1 first ✌️✈️
Munich tower: Possible pilot deviation. Landing without clearance. Are you ready to copy a phone number?
