It corners really well for a non sports car and it can get up and go when you want it to and it can fit my 1 year old's car seat and my wife and I comfortably. Lefai Kao Yes, we came close to getting one last week but heard about the AC issues and Honda not even backing the warranty.....blaming outside debris damaging the AC, instead of their faulty design. And leaving customers on the hook for expensive repairs even when under warranty. The whole point of getting a new car is to avoid expensive repairs. We’re disappointed because we really like the Civic, but reliable AC is a must for us.

No disrespect Scotty, however I’ve had my 2019 EX Sedan over a year and 16,000 miles. I live in an area with cold winters. I’ve had no oil dilution issues. Now granted I don’t take short drives. Any trip I make is at least 30 miles. IMO, this issue is more related to the CRV and it’s larger turbo. However, I’m not a mechanic. One observation I can make however is that mine warms up to operating temperature quite a bit quicker than my friends 2017 Touring. I do love my EX however. It replaced a 2009 EX that was a great car. Thanks for all the great contributions you make. I love your posts on Autonauts Garage as well. 😉

Drives as good (if not better) than day one. Great performance. Great avg mpg. No dilution issues. So far, so good. I live in NY just slightly north of NYC with no garage. I only use the Honda full synthetic oil. I now update my maintenance every 5,000 miles (or earlier). The recommended change is 7,500 miles but I do it early to mitigate carbon deposits. I also use only the highest detergent top-tier fuel (Shell 93 Octane). If you have a modern turbo, it’s advisable to maintain the engine religiously.I just hit 68,000 miles as of today, April 12. I’ll probably do a walnut blast soon to clean the intake valves as modern GDI turbo engines are more susceptible to carbon build up. I’m hitting 32.3 mpg.
