    A couple of years ago my freind weighed over 400 lbs and was diabetic. The doctor wanted to put her on more medicine because she wasn't doing well. She got mad, said that she wasn't overweight and had no problems until they put her on medication. So she quit seeing the doctors, stopped taking all medications and went on a super low carb diet and started walking for exercise. Two years later she just got her weight down to 190 lbs and is officially not diabetic anymore. She also just turned 78 years old. She looks fantastic and feels amazing.

    Got finger infections out of nowhere, no cuts, good hygiene, and the MDs bombarded me with strong antibiotics. After finishing the 3 courses of the antib my health went havoc for quite a while. Now, I learned the lesson and am taking 1 raw garlic per day with coconut yogurt, as a natural antib, and if finger infections start to give some signs of returning, then I soak the finger(s) in a iodized fine salt, add extra salt over the infection and - voilà. I’m doctoring myself as often as possible to save my health.

    At one time I took anti-anxiety medication which then led to restless leg syndrome and a diagnosis of Sjogrens Syndrome. I also took medications for migraines and acid reflux. I also took allergy medication. Two years ago I changed my diet by giving up sugar from my diet and by eating once a day. I started feeling better than I had in years so I decided to ask my Dr if I could start to wean off my medications to see what would happen. Happily I no longer take any medications with the exception of an allergy medication that I take only when they flair up. I no longer have anxiety, restless leg syndrome, no sjogrens, no migraines, no acid reflux. I’m 63 and feel better than I have in decades.

These holistic etc ways to do some things. And sometimes we have to be our own solution. Not all doctors some there are some that go against the grain and are for the patient. Happy to say at age 76 I take no medications prescribed or otherwise. My wife 46, takes 15 prescribed drugs and is a wreck due them. I am American but have lived in Central America since 2013. Past 6 years in Costa Rica. I am a Us Army Vet and the VA used to medicate me for all kinds of unnecessary things. I quit with them in 2009.I served 32 year in the US Army and severely wounded 4 times. I still carry two AK 47 bullets next to my spine and in my right kidney. My left arm held together with titanium for over 50 years. Had a broken left knee cap at age 15, shot in the right knee with a 45 when 29. But that doesn't stop me from walking 12 to 15 kilometers a day. Nor dose the 2wo titanium plates and 26 screws prevent me from bench pressing 110 kilos. Only thing I can do that is both impressive and safe. It would never take horizontal strain. Oh yeah its painful at times, but try to ignore it and it goes away in a day or two.

I have high blood pressure and hashimoto thyroiditis. I also have pernicious anemia so need B12 injections. It took a trip to ER and it was my lucky day! Had a doctor who found my B12 levels were zero! He felt it was at that level for at least 2 years. My GP for years never thought to run a B12 test. I had all of the symptoms of critically low B12 yet they said I needed anti anxiety meds and to take yoga classes. Being so low on b12 for years has caused nerve damage. My left side becomes weak at times. I hate taking medication but do take meds for hypothyroidism and HB. Occasional Tylenol for pain.

      Hi Benjamin, your story sounds so familiar because my husband died in 2015 due to Agent Orange related diseases. (prostate cancer, lung cancer, and a heart attack). Our daughter (44 now) has suffered all her life with neuropathy in her feet, Trigeminal Neuralgia in her face, skin diseases, mental health disorders and kidney cancer. I often wonder if her illnesses were Agent Orange related. She's been taking Gabapentin for years and a psychotic medication called Ziprasidone. I think both drugs have damaged her. She's incoherent most of the time and unable to work. It's so sad what some of these drugs can do to humans and yet still doesn't ease the pain. If you stop taking Gabapentin, I hope you can successfully live a healthy life without it. Merry Christmas!

(Only child) had baby blues and tried different anti depressants and effexor was the one I could tolerate and was able to function. Seven years after being this I decided I thought I could do without taking effexor and gradually weaned myself off Did ok getting off the med but discovered I still needed the med. and started taking it again. Shortly after stopped the med I started has odd pain ( which later diagnosed as fibromyalgia ) and pain in my feet. Couldn’t figure out what was causing the pain then figured it was neuropathy. Tried different meds to help and the only one that worked for me was tramadol It’s sad that side affects are not better exposed (at least I wasn’t aware )

      @kaygrace5250 Рік тому

      It takes about 3 months on Lyrica for the doppy feeling to go away and the balance issues. I have been on it for over 20 years, I was in a car accd and suffered a sciatica nerve injury and bad neck injury, had surgery and was worst, it was 5 yrs before Lyrica was on the market, I was completly bed ridden at 42 yrs old. When Lrycia came out =, I was put on it, I was given my life back, It is not a cure but they still don't know what to do when a person has all their nerves communicating the wrong signals to the all the muscles. Its like someone turned up the radio all the way to the highest volume, by nerves are beating that loud, and the muscles were losing their membranes fast, so Lyrica saved my life but it would be great if the nerve/muscle research doctors could find a cure. Its like I get it, I think they have kept all the cures from us because of greed and power, for the few at the Top, the Rockfeller family has controlled the Medical Education and Systems set in place in America and they don't want us to know about the cures. Since the 1930's when they would just kill the natural healing doctors who would not comply to their Rules and changes in the Medical Treatments, that they wanted in place, for their own love of money and power. And that is to Make the Guidelines, that they have in place now, if the doctors don't comply, to their guidelines and standard of treatments, they have in place, like for cancer, they can only push chemo and radiation treatments. Can't tell a patient about Diet and Nutrition, etc. or they will lose their License. So the ones at the Top who are the Overlords over our Gov, have made our Medical Political and our science , Political. Political Science, thats why they named it that. And why is our own gov pushing transgender operations that they will pay for in our Educational Public Schools. Cause its not Normal Education anymore. Its Marxist Education Systems, now. Political Education.

    I'm surprised it hasn't been mentioned that excessive & long term amounts of Vitamin B6 supplements (incl. from B6 fortified foods) can cause peripheral neuropathy. Yet there isn't this issue with B6 from natural food sources.
    And because a vitamin is water soluble, it doesn't mean that it can't accumulate in the body (B6 has a half life of 25 - 33 days, stored in muscle, plasma, liver etc).

The “Side Effect” of our choices were that we’ve lost nearly 40 lbs each no longer in need of BP meds, my husband takes only 3 meds now vs the 7 or 8 different drugs that he was on just 3 years ago. I’m 69 and am not on Any medications. Doctors are never interested as to why you have certain symptoms because they’re Not trained to find the Root Cause and help you to Reverse the problem. There’s No Money in doing that . . . It’s Medicate OR Operate. You have to be your Own Advocate. I am taking the 7 nutrients that you recommended and Berberine, also diabetes control drugs glimepiride 3 mg, I have reduced my metformin intake, knowing it's side effects. Last week,I had angioplasty done on my left leg as on top of numbness, atrophy is occurring under my ankle. One of my arteries was almost totally obstructed, luckily inflated a bit after a 3 hours angioplasty operation. The radiologist surgeon prescribed Plateel 100g twice daily, I know I need this blood thinner but a bit worried that it maybe harmful for my PN and PAD. I am hoping for your expert opinion on this. Sorry for being so lengthy. Many thanks in advance!

    • @NerveDoctors
      @NerveDoctors  Рік тому +20

      Hi there, Mr. Wong. Gosh, I'm so sorry to hear that you needed angioplasty. So, there are a few things I'd like to address to help you get on the right path. I'll start with protecting your nerves from the blood thinner medication. Make sure you're taking Nuphoria cm Blue (which we just changed the name to Nerve Defense). This formulation is going to help protect your nerves from the damage that medications tend to cause. The next thing that I share with ALL of my patients that are on blood thinners/anti-coagulants is let's thin the blood naturally in a healthy way without the many, many side effects that the medications carry with them. The best way to do this is by taking increased dosages of a good quality fish oil (4000 mg, daily). Also taking supplements containing turmeric and ginger work great to keep the blood thin and prevent clotting. Most doctors place their patients on aspirin. I prefer using a supplement of White Willow bark. This is the natural (not synthetic) version of salicylate (aspirin is the synthetic version). White Willow Bark keeps the blood thin and reduces inflammation without the side effects that aspirin carries, like causing gastric ulcerations. Now, your doctor will be monitoring your lab work to check on your platelet count and will usually order tests like PT-INR, aPTT, Fibrinogen, and CBC. This will determine if and when you can stop the blood thinner medication. Mr. Wong....DO NOT STOP THE BLOOD THINNER MEDICATION ON YOUR OWN. Make sure you are working with your doctor to make sure that your labs support this. Also, these natural methods that I outlined will help prevent further plaquing and clogging of your arteries. Blessings.

      Hi Mike. As you heard in this video, Amlodipine is a big no-no because it's a Calcium Channel Blocker (CCB). You want to stay away from CCBs and thiazide diuretics (HCTZ) if possible. Anti-hypertensives that are safer for the nervous system are Ace Inhibitors and Beta-blockers and the last one would be ARBs. Your doctor will know what all of these are. When switching antihypertensives, make sure you monitor your blood pressure closely as often your doctor will have to adjust your medications until he/she finds the right combo to maintain your BP. Blessings.

    I am a t2d recovering from 5 years of agonizing peripheral neuropathy. Couldn't afford ins, couldn't afford a pcp let alone an endo for the longest time so had no access to any rx's to control the pain, had to do so w/naproxen and tylenol alternating days, and topicals like voltaren and epsom salt gel and cbd creams just to get a few hours of sleep, (almost never more than 3 to 4 hours per night). Learned about benfotiamine, ala and b complex... and am finally almost, ALMOST back to normal during the days... weather makes evenings worse but still nowhere near what it used to be. In spite of the complications (accelerated retinopathy) caused by the otc orals used almost daily... I am certainly grateful I never was able to get any of the rx's as the complications from THEM would have been worse. Thank you for all the incredible information you provide so others don't have to suffer the way I and so many others have had to!

    Thank you so much for this informative video! I have PN in my feet, fingers, hamstrings and back. I have been on Gabapentin for 1 year and it has not helped. I want to get off of it but I have heard terrible things about withdrawals, and I am fearful of trying. I am on 600mg per day (200mg morning, 200mg afternoon, 200mg evening) What is the best way to wean off this drug? I would love to try these supplements instead! Help!

    My primary care doctor wanted to prescribe gabapentin as a first "cure" for my diagnosed peripheral neuropathy. When asked about side effects(dizziness and lethargy) she gave two side effects as did the pharmacist when I asked her. additionally, the trial dosage prescribed was less than two weeks… Recommendations for effectiveness I have learned begins after two weeks. After taking a five days with no effect I decided against taking gabapentin. Doctors and pharmacist may not be "bad people" but they certainly have a responsibility while prescribing treatment to help a patient and not harm them according to the oath they take.

    Thank you. Side effect caused many of my elder issues (one of which is nondiabetic peripheral neuropathy). What was worse is the interactions between the drugs. At one point, i was one over 10 medications. Looking into the interactions was a nightmare; not even a pharamcist could help.
    By reducing the number of meds to less than 5 (including vitamins and minerals) my health has greatly improved. Further, the symptoms i was taking meds for disapppeared.

    I was given a shot shot on my arm so that my arthritis in my knee would be able to bend. But I noticed days later that something was different on my body. Couldn't explain it. About a week later, I started feeling tingling all over my body, and then I felt shooting electric pulses of pain in different areas. My left hand really hurts to grab items that I never had before. I asked what the shot was, and I was told that it was a pain reliever that relieved inflammation.

    Gabapentin was prescribed tome for Shingles pain. It made me feel suicidal. I told my doctor and she took me oof of it, but listed it as an allergen for me. Shingles is intensely painful, but use topicals if possible, like lidocaine but still don’t overdo it. I ended up using lite applications of aloe vera on the rash, and an ice pack wrapped in a towel.

      Hi there-Love, Peace...Hate War (I love your handle!!). Thank you so much for your kind words. I'm so glad that you found our channel and are finding it helpful Hopefully at some point you'll be able to watch my video on "They said My Mother's Neuropathy Was Permanent" (ua-cam.com/video/VLUfLUDh7Ew/v-deo.html). This video will give you a bit more insight into how we became experts in this area. After successfully reversing my mother's neuropathy, then going on to work with our patients, Dr. Coppola and I developed Nerve Support formulas called: Nuphoria cm Gold and Blue. Here's the link: bit.ly/3T4XmrE We developed this formula so that people did not have to buy 7 different bottles of the necessary nutrients and take 20 pills per day. After developing these formulas, we then went on to develop our Pain Cream formula: bit.ly/3dLbqre We did extensive research to see which essential oils were effective for diminishing nerve pain. We wanted this cream to be all-natural without tons of chemicals like most pain creams have.
      Regarding medications: If at all possible, it is best to avoid any medication for peripheral neuropathy and the most common ones are Gabapentin (Neurontin), Lyrica (pregabalin), and Cymbalta (duloxetine). All of these medications come with consequences as I went over in this video. Now there are times when the symptoms are so severe that taking one of these medications is necessary. It should always be short-term, just to control the pain. The one that is the lesser of the evils (but not by much) is gabapentin. Do not take Amitriptyline or Cymbalta (Duloxetine). these will distort and imbalance your neurotransmitters and will be extremely difficult to get off.
      Regarding nitric oxide, we did a video on this called: "The Miracle Molecule" ua-cam.com/video/Tyf3rSVkP6s/v-deo.html. This will explain more about nitric oxide, what it is and its effect on the body. One of the nutrients we use to increase Nitric Oxide levels is L-citrulline which you will find in our Nuphoria cm Blue formula. Also, using photobiomodulation (PBM) will greatly increase nitric oxide levels. Watch this video: "Healing Nerves With Light" ua-cam.com/video/NNXDuFc5cHU/v-deo.html
      Let me know if you have any other questions. We love helping and guiding people on the right path. Blessings.

I have had a nerve doctor do a test on my hands and arms, and she said it was in The hands. I am taking Methyl B-12 and it is working to bring feeling back to my fingers. (My feet are just fine) I always ask my regular doctor about any supplements that I take. He handles ALL of my medications, so there are no conflicts with them. Thank You, for listing the drugs that make nerve damage worse, I will stay away from them.

    My 22 yr old son has many neurological issues . He has no diagnosis yet ! I started to look up natural ways to help . He’s been taking multivitamins and B1 - magnesium- D3 -K2 - It has helped his stomach tremendously! And has had less numbness, tingling and pain . His headaches are still a issue. He is now trying taking B2 and will be adding B6 in small amounts after he sees how the B2 works .
    I found this channel and I’m hopeful to find more information. Drs have no answers . Sadly he’s been to several.
    I’m going to have him try the Acetyl carotene after watching this channel !
    He has bad posture- he’s going to physical therapy for his neck. I think he should see a chiropractor.

    I quit Metformin almost 2 years ago after taking it for over 20 years. When doctors kept trying to put me on the same drugs as everyone around me were taking, I realized I had to make a risky decision . After two years of no drugs my quality of life has improved. But I also don’t eat packaged consumables. I only eat real food…Real raw sugar,butter,cream, meat. Don’t follow numbers, but pay attention to my body. Can’t reverse the nerve damage I have. But at least I don’t experience side affects.
    The Medical industry has destroyed peoples lives with willful deception for profit over people because that’s what “Industries” do. I’ll use it if I have an emergency because there are people I don’t want to let down. But I don’t even get sick and never got Covid when it seemed I should. Feeling better is all I can ask for at my age. I can only do that if I don’t trust people who want me to take drugs.
