I found these shoes on sale in bright fuscia color for $79 and have put hundreds of miles on them and love them! Will definitely be buying them again. I like them more than the 880 and 1080. Also bought the MoreV4 on sale for $99 so we’ll see what I think about those!
Truly a brilliant review. You touched on the major points clearly and concisely. Thank you.
I see it as the baby brother of the SC trainer! You can’t beat the price, it’s US $109!
As a daily trainer, it’s a great price!
Thanks for the review. I have been running in the propel v4 and loving it. Same colourway as ur review 😊
I have never bought a pair of shoes and thought " these are heavy" . People are obsessed with weight but some heavy shoes are excellent 👍
Waiting for mine to get here in the mail. They got hung up in Portland for a few days. Hopefully they show up tomorrow.
How have they been?
Could these replace the Pegasus as an do-it-all daily trainer to rack up the miles?
The version of fuelcell in the propel v4’s are pretty dead compared to the rebel v3. Due to the lacking energy return and comparatively heavier shoe I returned mine and would rather use the rebel v3’s.
Great video. If I just want a shoe to put a bunch of miles on, do you recommend this over the 1080? How do they differ? (Price aside).
These shoes are quite narrow for 2E. Compared to the 1080xv12 they were super tight. Needed to unlace the bottom eyes and heel lock to get them comfortable.
I have the propel v3 in the 45 D,i have flat feet but there ok... the v4 would be good or..?
And in my country don't sell the wide version... 😢
@@Perfumeguy for me, once i unlaced the bottom eyes they fit really well and are a great shoe. I only really use them for tempo/park runs so havent gone far in them but i really enjoy them. Quite a dynamic shoe, at least compared to what ive had in the past!
@@Perfumeguysame here in the Philippines. Had to go full size up for a more comfy fit.
Agreed! I usually wear a regular wide in NB, to achieve a very roomy wear. I have the 2E in these, and they feel like a medium width.
Really good info here, thanks.
would be nice to hear the cost in rands too
don't be lazy just google USD to ZAR exchange rate and input the amount
Are these good for flat feet and overpronation?
Hi! Flat feet and overpronator here. Just got mine and did my interval yesterday. From just 1 run, I can say in slower speed, I do feel pain on latetal side of my feet but once I pick up the pace, the pain goes away and the plate really gives a nice pop. Compare this to Saucony Tempus, Tempus works great for all paces but lack the pop from the plate. Ran my fastest interval in the Propel v4.
Thanks so much sir means alot .
Great info! Going to pick up a pair of these soon 😁
do you recommend this for long runs?
I bought a pair and tested them on a 10k. I don’t recommend it. The soles of my feet got really hot right around mile 4.
Depends on your fit. After some fancy lacing I used them on 13km road run and they were good. Just need to fit them properly.
How to fit it correctly?
@@yaboi_71how do I fit it properly?
@@manhvu3398 If you have wide feet I would recommend removing the laces from the lowest eyelets and using heel lock lacing. This should give you enough space, in the fore/midfoot but may still be a lil tight. I have 2E+ width feet and this worked ok. Hope this helps!
Got these shoes for $40 on sale
