Insulate Around a Sliding Glass Door

I’ll show the inexpensive materials I used to insulate the gaps around my new sliding glass door. You don’t need to spend a lot of money or buy expensive insulating foam to effectively insulate the gaps around your sliding glass door.

No, it's not waterproof.

I AM GOING TO TRY THIS. MY SLIDING DOOR NEEDS FIXED. OWNERS WON'T DO IT. UNLESS I WANT TO FREEZE OR PAY FOR HEATING UP OUTSIDE. I'M DOING SOMETHING. OLD SCHOOL IS THE EXTENT OF OUR MONEY THESE DAYS. BETTER START THINKING OF IDEAS OF OLD. THANKS FOR YOUR TIPS.

You're welcome, Saberq14. For what it's worth, I don't have any draft or hot or cold air coming in, from the outside, around my sliding glass door, so it worked for me. I encourage others to save money where and when they can. Happy DIYing!

This is too much in close up, you could do with pulling back and showing the whole frame at the beginning.
