A lot of that was not billet , it was box section steel and the rest was mixed . I would not want to be on that ship with that cargo , bad seas with big waves and that cargo is going to be moving around
I agree, it does not just take a long time but is very dangerous if that ship gets bad weather with big waves , that cargo could start moving around and puncture the hull of the ship . I can only assume it is not going far and that where it is going there will be no big waves
Now you know why containers and specialized container ships revolutionized the shipping business. For moving cargos that can be fit into the containers. Unfortunately some cargos like the ones in the video still have to go the old school way. There are a number of products that the transportation costs add significantly to the price.
A cette vitesse il faut combien de temps pour finir le bateau ????....

How long does the entire loading process take ? It looks like a slow process.
Yess it take long time
It's depending on the port operations sometimes 1 week sometime 10 days and some ports 4 days

What is the capacity of this vessel. I mean how many tons of material can it be loaded
Grt 29000 cargo capacity 48000T
Why this steel billet cannot loaded into goods train please what reason ?
Because you can't run the train between the countries. Ships can transport large quantities in cheaper shipping charges.
Can you tell ship's size n length depth?
Ship size 190mtr
Depth of the hold 18m

Cant see how taking this much time for a load of steel is even worth it in the end. Dont have a better solution but this seems very inefficient
Actually loading is fast but securing takes too much time. Putting dunnages and belt etc.

I only noticed forklift was slightly overloaded w/two coils; otherwise it seem*ed to be going smoothly but I've never worked a shipyard. Much respect.
