The BEST Way to Sidechain for Dubstep - FL Studio 20

Sidechain is important for dubstep in FL Studio 20, Ableton, and other DAWs. Fruity Balance, LFOtool, Shaperbox, and Fruity Limiter are all methods but i will show you the best way to sidechain for free without using 3rd party vsts in 2021.

if you want it cleaner, because fruity balance causes artifacts and clicks on the low end:
1. open a patcher
2. put "fruity send" in that patcher
3. right click it ->output->audio then right click the main output as well as "send 1"
4. open fruity send and set the send number to 1
5. rightclick the "send volume" and then click activate
6. connect the audio input and outputs to the input and output of patcher
7. Go to the surface rightclick->knob and then choose any of the knobs
8. go back to the inside and connect the two red dots
9. save this patcher rack as a preset so you dont have to do that shit again
10. now just use the knob on the surface like you would do with fruity balance but it's as clean as the channel fader now
11. Profit!

I tried sidechaining different bands with fabfilter's eq by automating the volume of the different bands but I don't think it's actually a -inf volume automation and it has no delay compensation, how do I split the bands with fruity balance? It's not shown anywhere in the video :(

@@Ganimedmusic They're drums that I made! Planning on releasing them for free in the future. You don't really need to split bands in my opinion, just add a separate fruity balance on the sub and one for mid basses.
