One thing I love about your videos, is that you show & explain the process of whatever project (big and/or small) you are working on which makes me even more excited to tune in at 7am with coffee in hand ☕🥀🪴from one day to the next. 👍
For me, Laura, the best part of your video today was the end where you shared your vision for the new property and that if it didn't come together with horses in a barn paddock, you would feel okay with that and move to embrace a new vision. That comment was so heartwarming. ❤
Laura!! I heard here in Ohio the mating song of the cardinal! Along with snowdrops and peepers in NC...are a sign of....SPRING!!!!! 84 Years of seeing this and it never gets old!!! Agree????
Laura, It is so inspiring to wake up to your channel of new ideas and adventures. Watching you complete small tasks pushes me to do the same. Thank you for taking us with you on your life's journey. ❤
You should put a little apartment on top of your barn, or like a little guest house tucked in somewhere. Then you could live in it while you redo your actual house and then it would be there for the future for any parents that you need to house or children. With such a huge property I feel like you need a little guest house. It would be so cute.
It’s so different seeing the pots and fence line gone. It’s such a staple! I love and enjoy watching all the changes and growth! I know it will look amazing! ❤
Can’t wait to see how that area progresses! Maybe you could make a wreath for the chicken coop door and flower shed door with some of the statice. The colors look like spring!
I think it would be so interesting for you guys to do a montage “time tour” of the various spaces as they have changed over time in your garden. For instance, when you took out the short fence, it used to be where you had a bunch of gorgeous supertunia hay racks, and power poles. Also the big black square planters that were in the cut flower garden. You have so many new subscribers who would love it.
It was so satisfying watching Paul and Aaron remove the posts and pots!! Gonna miss them! I remember when you added the pots, pads, and then went around drilling the pads to feed drip to the pots!
The static would be wonderful in your flower shed as decor. Just a thought. Love your videos. I am in ontario canada in a DEEP freeze just now and under at least six feet of snow
I can’t wait to see it all come together for y’all. It’s so satisfying to see the hard work y’all put in bear fruit and multiply. You don’t have to say a word, God shows in you by how you live your life. Plus any video with Samantha or Benjamin is an added bonus. 😊. God bless you all for being an inspiration to all of us.
It is so nice to see it all coming together! The long maple tree lane will be so nice next fall! The containers are still so beautiful!!!!!!! I love to hear Aaron and your plans and see how you prepare for the future by buying extra maples, saving fence posts, and using the mulch spread out in piles for future projects. A sink in the studio will so nice! Aaron will get his own office. The seedlings are looking great. My apple blossom maverick geraniums are doing great indoors now. I sent some seeds to two sisters and they are going to love them too I know.
Would the statice bundles be able to hang to dry in the potting shed in the orchard or possible the small red barn rafters? Where the statice is maybe a child table and chair play area for Samantha and Benjamin. Love the new outdoor fence plans!
Oh my, Laura, how I covet that table full of beautiful pots (where the orchid is) in your studio! 🪴How fun to see all the green life and young seedlings, too. Can't wait to see how you develop the property! You keep us coming back with great anticipation! ❤
Statice dried would be wonderful for a craft if your local assisted living facility does crafting for their residents. Elementary Schools might have use for them for an art project.
...Douglas, running after you at 21:06...sweet❣ Would love a “Coffee Klatch" video with your mom and sister where you would talk about each of your garden projects, wants and hopes for the next season Thanks!
Samantha is so adorable 😍 I hope y'all can add the large trees this Spring ❤ Every week day morning, I get up, fix a glass of tea and sit in my recliner to watch your latest video😍😘 Then, of course, I make time for y'alls recap!
I know things do change and evolve but I’m really going to miss the pots along the driveway 😢 it was always such a beautiful sight. I’m glad you are keeping the tree because I was wondering what you were going to do with it 🙂 I know things will be beautiful with the changes.
It’s a great step to get the fences sorted out - well done guys! And I agree wholeheartedly that getting any tree in the ground today, even if it’s to be moved later or isn’t going into an organised area, is better than it going in later. It’s all looking really neat and sensible.
Oh my goodness I got all upset thinking that I may not be here 20 years from now, too see the trees etc mature but for now I’ll happily keep watching and watching the changes x
Me, too, but it gives us all a reason to stay fit and healthy! Just to see the continual development and growth in the garden. Laura and Aaron don't realise that they give people a reason to carry on when times are tough. 😉🤣
Great idea! I have a rough idea of the conversion but it would be fab to have a little flash on screen with accurate temperature and volume conversion to metric measurements. 🌡️📏👍
Love hearing your visions for the future! I do see a barn, and horses out there, trees lining the edge, it's going to be so beautiful! Do you have a plan for the large pots you moved? I hope so, always enjoyed seeing them potted up for each season, and yours and Aaron's competitions! Would miss that.
Just a great video today. Looks so different now the white fence as been taken away. And so big to. Looking forward to spring to see how the new fence looks and you start filling your new border areas.
Hi Laura. Love your videos. It’s so great that your grass is still green. What type of grass do you have ? One suggestion about the container. After the leveling and once you plant the maples, you can put the containers in between maple trees, like you have it in your mom’s garden.
The bulbs are either T5 or T8- mine are T5. They should be labeled. You don’t have to use gardener’s replacements since Sunglow makes the lamp part anyway. I get mine from activegrowled online. Never had a dud.
I have a similar variety of begonia and it too had mealy bugs. Perhaps the pots could line the walk in front of the sun porch. I know you were thinking arbors and boxwoods for that area but until then you can enjoy the pots. Thanks Aaron and Paul. It is up to 15 degrees here and it is not pleasant to work outside. The studio looks great. January always seems the time to clean and organize.
Hello Laura, growing up in Germany, I had a favorite flower shop. They would bundle their statis and hang them from their open ceiling grid. so when you looked up, you would see a sea of purple, white, yellow and so on. Extra statis was placed in bunches inside heavy duty vine baskets and set around displays on the floor. it was just magical. perhaps you could do something similar in the garden house in the south garden. Douglas just loves you so much. Tries to catch up with you wherever you go.
When you had a seating area in the studio, it seemed ver warm and inviting. Maybe recreating that in the back corner with a portable fireplace would be so, so awesome! Just a thought.
Good Morning! ❄️ That is quite the transformation! Those pots & fence have been there for a long time, ever I have been watching! And that has been a long time! It is that time of year to clean up, put away, reorganize & decide what to keep! 😃🤔🧹👍🌿
I have several mulberry trees that are well over 100 yrs. old. They are woody and often unsightly, but they do respond to regular pruning. We moved into our house 40 yrs ago and back up to farm land. The owners behind us said they put them in to attract the birds away from their apple orchard. I do not love them, but I respect a tree that hangs on and looks stately.
"When is the best time to plant a tree? Twenty years ago. When is the NEXT best time to plant a tree? Today!" I love your vision. You have to see it in your imagination before you can make it happen. I love the clean studio.
I remember you prepping a spot for a shed that was going to be built... close to the gate perhaps. Is that still in the works? I really enjoy watching all of the updates & projects that you guys do... they're a great source of inspiration. I'm so glad that I stumbled upon your videos, I've learned so much. Thank you for sharing.
Hello! First, thank you for all you do for gardeners, especially those of us in the mountain West. Since those Autumn Blaze maples are a hybrid of the red maple, they may be a problem. I'm hoping you already know this and have a mitigation plan. 🙂
I’m gonna miss the pots there but, can’t wait to see where they end up. With the status could you make a spring wreath? Also, my husband watched GA but really appreciates it when Aaron and Paul are using heavy equipment. lol
Douglas running trying to catch up with you was funny. Love all the clean land. Looking forward to all future projects. They will all be enjoyed. Thank you❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
wow.. what a difference a day makes!! it did look bitterly cold out there, kudos to Paul and Aaron for getting it done!! i love seeing changes like this... and then when we see the before and after photos... new viewers will be so amazed at what y'all have done in the past 8 almost 9 years (since moving in to this place).. studio looks great with just a little cleaning up... and those darn mealy bugs.. ugh... hope you got that cleared up.. Samantha is so cute and sweet and yea! for putting her gloves on all by herself - growing up so fast.. and your cats... it's been cool enough down here in socal that i've been wearing my Russell and Cheddar sweatshirt... i guess we need a new one with Russell and Douglas now!! hope Cheddar is happy and spoiled over at Bethany's place... looks like a productive day, and a very good day for a hot something: tea, chocolate, coffee... exciting things on the books this year!!! can't wait!! 🥰❤thanks for the video!! 🥰❤
Hilarious I was thinking yesterday when is that fence and those pots moving😅😅😅😅😂😂😂 A new coop from Carolina Coops to match the new horse barn would be great. Then you can retrofit the existing chicken coop with double doors and make it an aviary for canaries and diamond doves!!!
I have a tray of peppers up and a new tray planted. I also have a ton of brassicas planted in winter sowing jugs. I have found I have better luck with WSJ when it comes to starting cabbage and broccoli and such.
You remember those grow lights your parents sold that looked like fancy strung light swags? I got the last set and ADORE them but thought they would look wonderful in the studio strung just above the shelves of grow lights/plants and would also give you more room for seedlings. AND make an even more beautiful backdrop for filming. Just an idea.
Does Laura have a Laura? Seeing you turn on the tv before cleaning made me wonder who is your influencer? Do you have someone who inspires you daily and who you enjoy coffee watching? 😅 😊
She just said that in the 10 year anniversary edition! No influencers for Laura! She does like some gardens, and I have forgotten what they were called. State something? I can't remember
Laura not watching other “gardening influencers” makes me wonder if she has any idea of the people she has “influenced” into gardening and starting UA-cam channels? Laura opened my eyes to the wonderful world of gardening, and for the last 4 years it’s been my “fun time”, my creative outlet, my exercise, my peace, my prayer time, my therapy, gardening is just good for the soul, even though I’m not great at it. Sometimes I get discouraged when things don’t grow well or die, but there’s always something else to dream about and try! I started a UA-cam channel, @PattyB.Gardening, about 6-7 months ago, to document what I’ve done, to make me keep up with my yard, and to encourage others who may be new to gardening and don’t know where to start. UA-cam is probably harder than gardening. It’s a whole new world with so much to learn! Sometimes I think I’m too old and my gardens and landscape are not good enough for UA-cam, but then I think….you have to start somewhere, and things will improve, and they have! I still enjoy my morning cup of coffee with Laura and I can’t wait to see what she opens my eyes up to next!💚💐
The guys made fast work on the pots , they look amazing anywhere 🤗. I love a nice fence, love that you’re getting extra trees for the future.. just in case anything happens to the old tree which is gorgeous. Take care xx xx plus the cats
Huge kudos to Paul and Aaron! Removing fence posts is hard work but the bitter cold makes it harder. Although the new tractor sure helped! “Work smarter not harder” like my Dad always used to say. How exciting for Aaron to be getting a new dedicated work space. Having a sink in there will be wonderful. Curious, how long do your grow lights last? Did you buy them at different times, is that why only part are burned out? 🧐💡
Don't forget to always have slope or grade going away from the crown of the driveway, 2% and 5% with a consistent downward slope towards designated drainage points. I know that mostly you don't have rain or snowmelt, but even in the desert, water comes and it needs to be planned for.
Here for the gardening - but can’t help but smile watching Douglas follow Laura around everywhere she goes! 🪴😻
She has a permanent sidekick❤️
I was thinking the same thing. So cute!!
I know things change and whatever you do will be beautiful but I will miss the line of pots down the lane! And the infamous competitions!!
It’s so cute to watch Douglas. Follow you everywhere.
One thing I love about your videos, is that you show & explain the process of whatever project (big and/or small) you are working on which makes me even more excited to tune in at 7am with coffee in hand ☕🥀🪴from one day to the next. 👍
Anyone else watching Douglas follow Laura? Love that cat! 😂😍
Yes, Catherine I am watching Douglas. One of my favorite things about UA-cam channels is their pets. I always noticed the pets first. 😁❤️🌸 Liz
I love that you are not afraid of change. The pots were fun but I love the maple tree lane extension.
Yes! It's going to look so much more cohesive now.
For me, Laura, the best part of your video today was the end where you shared your vision for the new property and that if it didn't come together with horses in a barn paddock, you would feel okay with that and move to embrace a new vision. That comment was so heartwarming. ❤
Very smart of her not to stick with an idea on her social media platform in the event she changes her mind. Followers don’t forget.
Laura!! I heard here in Ohio the mating song of the cardinal! Along with snowdrops and peepers in NC...are a sign of....SPRING!!!!! 84 Years of seeing this and it never gets old!!! Agree????
The tree border will be beautiful some day. This quote comes to mind. “The best time to plant a tree is 20 years ago. The second best time is today.”
Laura, It is so inspiring to wake up to your channel of new ideas and adventures. Watching you complete small tasks pushes me to do the same. Thank you for taking us with you on your life's journey. ❤
Douglas following you is so stinkin cute.
Douglas is so cute following Laura around trying hard to keep up with her 😅!
Im going to miss those pots but I can't wait to see what you do next! ❤
You should put a little apartment on top of your barn, or like a little guest house tucked in somewhere. Then you could live in it while you redo your actual house and then it would be there for the future for any parents that you need to house or children. With such a huge property I feel like you need a little guest house. It would be so cute.
I have a little tip, I use a grapefruit spoon and it works really well if you don't have tongs. I am thankful for all your knowledge.
Valentine's wreaths sound like a beautiful idea.
It’s so different seeing the pots and fence line gone. It’s such a staple! I love and enjoy watching all the changes and growth! I know it will look amazing! ❤
Maybe make some valentine wreaths with your dried flowers.
Nice idea. How about some simple arrangements in jars for the assisted living?
I was going to suggest the exact same thing! 😂
Can’t wait to see how that area progresses! Maybe you could make a wreath for the chicken coop door and flower shed door with some of the statice. The colors look like spring!
Yes!!! Some spring wreaths would be fun!
Douglas followed you every where ! Love you so much!
I can’t wait to see the transformation with a new fence . Douglas was running to catch up with you today , your shadow 🐾
What a change with that old fence and pots gone!
I think it would be so interesting for you guys to do a montage “time tour” of the various spaces as they have changed over time in your garden. Good morning! That area looks so open with the fence gone. The brick along the drive will look so nice when completed.

What Moni said! Bundle the Statice and hang in the formal flower garden shed!
Oh my, Laura, how I covet that table full of beautiful pots (where the orchid is) in your studio! 🪴How fun to see all the green life and young seedlings, too. Can't wait to see how you develop the property! You keep us coming back with great anticipation! ❤
DOuglas follows you around kinda cute~....what a good boy ^^
Statice dried would be wonderful for a craft if your local assisted living facility does crafting for their residents. Elementary Schools might have use for them for an art project.
Or the statice could be made into spring wreaths for the assisted living facility.
Wait for Douglass 😻
...Douglas, running after you at 21:06...sweet❣ Would love a “Coffee Klatch" video with your mom and sister where you would talk about each of your garden projects, wants and hopes for the next season Thanks!
Move that status out to the flower shed! That would clear up the floor space and isn’t that what you built it for was to dry flowers in.
Samantha is so adorable 😍 I hope y'all can add the large trees this Spring ❤ Every week day morning, I get up, fix a glass of tea and sit in my recliner to watch your latest video😍😘 Then, of course, I make time for y'alls recap!

I’m glad you are keeping the tree because I was wondering what you were going to do with it 🙂
I know things will be beautiful with the changes.
I can imagine beautiful green pasture and horses, but for the time being, you have Douglas 🐈⬛ (so cute trying to keep up with you).
WOW! What difference removing that fence made! The guys really worked out all the difficulties. They kept going in that cold, great job!
It’s a great step to get the fences sorted out - well done guys! And I agree wholeheartedly that getting any tree in the ground today, even if it’s to be moved later or isn’t going into an organised area, is better than it going in later. It’s all looking really neat and sensible.

It’s so cool you guys got to snag all that adjacent land!! 💚
Any chance editor could put Celsius on screen when you mention temps for your international audience. Please
I’ve asked it before
Just Google it, it takes two seconds!
Yes please!
Great question!
I think the Mulberry tree should come out before the Autumn Blaze maples go in.
I agree, it would make the infrastructure easier too in the long run .
Just a great video today. Looks so different now the white fence as been taken away. And so big to. Looking forward to spring to see how the new fence looks and you start filling your new border areas.
Hi Laura 🌺 . The fence project look amazing and can't wait to see what plants you will plant near the new fence . Have a great day .🌻🌺🌻🌺

The plans for the future are coming together ❤️...
You could hang a coat rack in the
flower shed
With pegs then hang bundles of your colorful dried flowers as decor.
I have a similar variety of begonia and it too had mealy bugs. Perhaps the pots could line the walk in front of the sun porch. I know you were thinking arbors and boxwoods for that area but until then you can enjoy the pots. Thanks Aaron and Paul. It is up to 15 degrees here and it is not pleasant to work outside. we love you Samantha Grace, Good job on wearing your gloves by yourself,

The statice flowers seems like they would make beautiful spring/Easter wreaths. 😊
Good morning from Delaware Garden Answer friends.
Good morning!🌻🐝
Good Morning! ❄️ That is quite the transformation! Those pots & fence have been there for a long time, ever I have been watching! And that has been a long time! It is that time of year to clean up, put away, reorganize & decide what to keep! 😃🤔🧹👍🌿
Great video~ Bravo on all the work you do~With your statice, make a few wreaths for the nursing home locally?
I have several mulberry trees that are well over 100 yrs. old. They are woody and often unsightly, but they do respond to regular pruning. We moved into our house 40 yrs ago and back up to farm land. New ring? Pretty..shines right through the soil!
"When is the best time to plant a tree? Twenty years ago. When is the NEXT best time to plant a tree? Today!" I love your vision. You have to see it in your imagination before you can make it happen. I love the clean studio.
Im in sandhills of NC, its currently 17° ..only thing im doing right now is coffees and watching you lol
I'm doing the same thing in GA! LOL! 🤣
Me too, in coastal NC! Snow at the beach is just weird!
@@heatherw.2751 right! My niece's area at the beach got 3 inches
@ we have about 5 on the crystal coast. They got over 8 on the OBX.
Great project done. As Benjamin would say ✅✅✅. Good job guy’s. Good grooming and cleaning. Thanks for sharing this with us.🇨🇦🇨🇦🇨🇦
I always enjoy your videos no matter what you post.
Love watching the preparation for the new fence. Studio looks good. How about making a dried flower wreath out of the statis?
Water in the studio!
Hello! First, thank you for all you do for gardeners, especially those of us in the mountain West. I wanted to let you know, just in case you don't already, that wilted or dead Acer rubrum leaves are toxic to horses and other equines. Since those Autumn Blaze maples are a hybrid of the red maple, they may be a problem. I'm hoping you already know this and have a mitigation plan. 🙂
Move the dried flowers to the hanging rack in the flower shed
I’m gonna miss the pots there but, can’t wait to see where they end up. With the status could you make a spring wreath? Also, my husband watched GA but really appreciates it when Aaron and Paul are using heavy equipment. lol
Utilize the space above the grow shelves for more storage.
Afternoon Everyone 🥰
Boy, you have a lot to wrap up before spring, springs on you! 💪🏻💪🏻
Love busy projects, you always inspire me.
HAVE GREAT WEEKEND 👍 ❤
Great job Laura and Aaron❤
Douglas running trying to catch up with you was funny. Love all the clean land. Looking forward to all future projects. They will all be enjoyed.
Thank you❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
“Busy work” never ends! 😂❤

Hilarious I was thinking yesterday when is that fence and those pots moving😅😅😅😅😂😂😂
A new coop from Carolina Coops to match the new horse barn would be great. Then you can retrofit the existing chicken coop with double doors and make it an aviary for canaries and diamond doves!!!
I feel like you’re an old friend face timing me to catch me up with all you are doing. Thank you for making videos ❤
Love watching the kitties follow you around❤️
New sprouts--it never gets old.....😀
I have a tray of peppers up and a new tray planted. I also have a ton of brassicas planted in winter sowing jugs. I have found I have better luck with WSJ when it comes to starting cabbage and broccoli and such.
I can’t wait to see where you put the pots. So many possibilities. I wish i had a line of beautiful giant flower pots to find a place for 😂
Looking Good!
Love watching you clean up! The status might be nice in your garden shed by the orchard if you want to make room...
Oh little Douglas..❤
What a difference fence posts make.
Autumn Blaze is amazing. Great decision
I absolutely love that African violet
Does Laura have a Laura? Seeing you turn on the tv before cleaning made me wonder who is your influencer? Do you have someone who inspires you daily and who you enjoy coffee watching? 😅 😊
She has said before she doesn’t watch anyone because she wants to make sure she’s just doing her own thing.

I love a nice fence, love that you’re getting extra trees for the future.. just in case anything happens to the old tree which is gorgeous.
Take care xx xx plus the cats
Wow! It looks so different! A world of possibilities! How exciting, can't wait 😁! Blessings 💞 🙏🏻💞

Could add the pots in between the line of trees as you enter the property? The shade pot at the end always performed the best!
