another problem i see with aftermarket is that they also fail to make the screens fit symmetrical with the housing. the aftermarket screens love to pop out slightly more than oem displays
Thats why, if my screen is broken, i will just buy a new phone. Whether if the phone is a flagship or the lower end

Of course. The battery sees that parts are being replaced and won't be lying again, in fear of getting replaced and dumped into landfill

It doesnt matter if it's original or not, iPhones will always give that notification

It is 3rd party displays are better now I mean u won't find much difference between the original and the fake one I have an iPhone 11 pro I broke it and then I replaced the display with 3rd party display it works pretty good

What about for back glass? Would anything happen in a 3rd party repair??
I do know if you use 3rd part for back glass it will not alloe you to use NFC

Ugh man, I’m in loss prevention and the store I’m at is awful, I was chasing a shoplifter trying to apprehend him due to concealed merchandise and when I took off running, my phone flopped out of my pocket and slid on the pavement screen down, I picked it up and the screen is shattered 😢🥺🥺🥺 I have the iPhone XS Max what’s the best screen to get? I’ve seen so many bad things, I’m not sure if I should send it in, or fix it myself. I seen a few screens where it actually looks like an android and I definitely don’t want that. Ugh man I’m bumming, it looks like my employer isn’t going to reimburse me either. Lol after I seen my phone on the ground I ended pursuit. I yelled at him “ keep the shit you stupid junkie.” Lol pissed man. I just got this thing replaced by Apple as my warranty was up and I was having issues with my old one. It’s brand new basically. I almost cried man. It’s my only source of entertainment man. Ugh 😩

Same on my XR. I’ve only had my 3rd party screen for over a month and the digitiser is already dodgy. My original screen lasted me 3 and a half years while being cracked. The LCD got completely damaged which is why I had replaced it. I would’ve kept it if the lcd didn’t get damaged

Yes, because the camera module is not changing. If you change the camera module on newer iPhones, there will be a problem because the FaceID camera is serial locked to the device.

Hello, I just got a refurbished iPhone Xs and I found the screen is replaced as the True Tone option is not there. I asked the seller and he said it is the official Apple display. Is it the case that True tone will be disabled after every screen replacement or he is scamming me?

True Tone doesn’t automatically appear even if it’s an original display, you need to transfer it from the original screen to the new screen when repairing to retain True Tone

It works, but Is very annoying. I would personally pay to get the Apple repair. It was OLED.
@@ChristianStevenson should've got a refurbished screen, you got ripped off paying $100 for that. you can get a genuine apple refurbished one in the UK for about £60.

Don't ever buy HARD (RIGID) OLED. Buy a Soft (FLEXIBLE) OLED DISPLAYS. They are more expensive but surely worth it. JK and GX has one of the best quality aftermarket displays.
ZY Hard OLED is a good screen but you are right about the Soft OLED’s

Oh yes it will have true tone display if you use the JC-V1 screen programmer. You can buy them on eBay. The item plugs into your computer via the USB cable and that powers that programmer. When you open the programmer up like a book there are a series of connections on the right side of the item that are the motherboard connections for your damage screen to have the software the red from the damage screen and put into the programmer then you remove the damage screen connection then attach your new third-party screen to that same motherboard connection that you use for the damage screen then you use the right capability to nail store the software of the damage screen onto your third party screen. This and now allows you to utilize three major functions true tone facial recognition and touch ID

it’s very easy to detect at first if you touch a fake display it is choppy and soft the original one feels solid when you touch it and also the brightess is higher

For f*ck sake I just got scammed. The seller said it's a new product and after I checked apparently the rear camera, the battery, and the screen has been replaced. And the screen is exactly like this.
