Because my iphone x's auto-brightness is working but the colors of the wallpapers are a bit weird when my fingers are closing the sensor? 1. So far, it's approved that iPhone X aftermarket screen tested in this video is only without Auto-brightness function, but can adjust manually. The 3D touch failed, while screen touch is okay.
2. This issue is probably due to the quality of the screen, which didn't occur during our test.
We also learned from customers who did some testing before us, the result was not good as this one. Perhaps it's because of the technology improvement. Let's wait and see if the rest problems will get resolved in time.

No, the LCD is not original if it has no true tone. You can make it true tone via LCD data rewriting with the programmer tool.

it's extremely obvious. OEM ones have better curvature around the edges, aftermarket ones are just cheaply rounded off (feels like a harder edge). Compare back panel glass and display glass, OEM should match perfectly.

its obvious that it uses LCD...when it goes to the black background you can see that the original is 100% off while in the aftermarket screens its kind of grey..Thats because of the backlight used in the LCD technology...My biggest question is how is it even possible to have backlight output on a phone that wasn't designed for an LCD...Weird.Most iphones have a backlight IC on the motherboard that should be missing on the X since it uses OLED....
@@dukeofdream obviously apple builds the devices on a modular platform, which lowers development costs in the long run. the XR is basically a derivate of this platform, which could actually mean, that you could theoretically outfit an XR with an oled panel. :) my guess is that they will make devices with oled an lcd for years to come.

Face id is not working on my iph x oem display panel which is pulled from an icloud locked unit
Reset your Face ID and try again. Go back to the repair shop to check the internal parts if it still not working.
