Schindler would have won 95% other matches with this performance
Schindler was crap in the key moment. In the 4th leg to make it 2-2 he's a mile in front, has 140 left, and cant take 140 in 9 darts. MVG winds up taking a great 148 finsh to go 3-1 up and because of that people forget Schindler threw that leg away.
Couldnt finish 140 in 9. Not good enough at pro standard.

It all came down to his finishing in the end and MVG was just too good in that area

The german crowd actually cheers louder if Schindler throws a 90 score than if van Gerwen hits a 180

I love the enthusiasm when Schindler scores high, and they don't have to cheer for van Gerwen, they can be dead silent, but boo-ing is just unnecessary, cringe and hurts Schindlers reputation as well.
How does it hurt Schindler's reputation?
a booing crowd is a part of darts for long, everyone who doesnt like it, has a big problem...
The professional Dartsplayers block this out, so it has no effect anyways.

That is beyond dispute.
Mvg is better. But Taylor is greater. There is a difference in my opinion...
The dense of talented, very big players is so much higher than Taylors early era started, today.
