While production blocks are expected to arrive around the end of March, we were able to get our hands on the first block. The immediate plans are to get this block assembled and put on our engine dyno for testing. What engine setup would you want to see us do with this block?

Come on man, I need a 45 minute video from Jay telling me all about it!
Agreed! Where is Jay?
So glad companies like Dart are getting on board with import stuff. It’s too popular (and good) to ignore anymore
They made B-series honda blocks like 20 years ago. But they had some issues and never really took off.
@@nsxmatt Those Honda blocks are infamous around the Dart shop. Found one under a table where we cap blocks.
These blocks r 30k so....
Well the little Boy Band Imports are a joke but the 2jz is different
@@bluesky-ud9wg There are 100x of these “boy band” imports that account for way more of the market than the 2jz.
Another option for people. That's cool
Yes sir!!
Nowadays most limitations I see on the high end are due to head sealing issues. Noticed that 6 bolt per cylinder design has become the standard in new/ bespoke racing engines but dont think I've ever seen it on a DOHC setup.
The best street block for higher horsepower builds.
Yes please! Can't wait to see one of these in action.
Thanks, Jay! More to come on this one.
That looks nice!! I want one for my Supra!!
They are sick! Feel free to reach out when you are ready 407-695-7223
Can't wait to put one of these with some @GrannasRacing parts in a future build.
4 bolt main that’s no joke!!!
Adam LZ should be happy to be able to get American made 2JZ blocks now ! 💯
I may be one of the first guys to start putting these bad boys together at Dart! Super excited for this new release!
MADE IN DETROIT 🙌😤🙌
Yesssss
Let's gooo!
4 BOLT !!!
Yes sir!
paid 400 bucks for my GE long block. Still love to see things like this happening for those with the cash to spend
2J scalpers left the chat
that's badass, now just need a cylinder head casting
Can you do a parts list of everything on the engine when you build it out?
You could’ve said how much more it weighs than the stock block
I would love to see you guys get your hands on a Ford Barra engine. And work your magic see what you guys get on the dyno.
I'd who looks better, the block or my boy pablo 🤣🤣
Those overnight parts from japan are going to be alot more expensive for this one arent they😢
What is it? A redesigned Cast 2j?
Not bad ay. PRP RB block vs Dart 2jayzee.. Who will make 3000hp? You fellas need a 110mm turbo, 300 shot of nitrous to wake it up to 100psi+ and rev it to 12,000rpm.. Doesn't seem like a lot to ask 😅
Now call up Dart and tell them make a second casting with the SBC bell housing so people dont have to buy adapters for the powerglide or 400 transmissions.
“15 grand in it or more, over night parts from japan”
Now you can tell the old school Chevy guys the block is a 4 bolt main. lol
Dyno?
Yes sir!
2JZ no shit
Haha
How much is this block? If its over 5k I'll pass. At that price point I'd go billet and be done with it.
$4,500 as of today =)

Billet isn't as robust and practical for an extreme street car application. This block is perfect for the extreme street/strip cars.
To bad its a limited run that will be sold out by the time i get to my 2j build
imagine this with some nitro methanol in a rail car...
3,000 hp supra 1,000 per liter let freedom ring
