      @@sergeyakinin997 thats not the issue in question. American whp is higher than anyone else's whp . If I put my car on the dyno here and for argument sake say it made 400 whp and shipped it to the USA and put it on a dyno I garentee you it would read way higher 500whp or somthing , its like you say whp but really it's at the flywheel or somthing... Most of the bigger channels are done by early-mid 20's guys, in a VLOG style. Seems more genuine and relateable. Audience is the same age. That's just what people want to look at today. Young people follow UA-camrs and watch Netflix. They dont watch flowtv. Motive Videos are filmed and edited like a TV-show. A way different vibe, and not as popular with the younger crowd which is the vast majority of people watching UA-cam videos daily.

      @@tuurbow We don't agree they can be used as street cars. The alloy expands with heat much more than iron and changes bearing clearances. Plenty say their "street cars", but we get to see what goes on behind the scenes, and we wont use one in a real street car yet.

      its not useless. it helps stop the block from twisting, which is a problem with GT-Rs due to sump attached to engine, and adds support to the bore.

    Sure Australian dyno’s read significantly lower. Doesn’t mean US or Japanese horsepower (ps) is clickbait or incorrect. US has brought so much to automotive performance table through innovations, manufacturing, and motorsports. To discount a dyno figure because it’s not Aussie is plain stupid.

      Plus it's factual Brian.... Most Merican YT channels get a hard on for peak power on a dyno, when it's just a tuning tool.

    • @jeffsymons7084
      @jeffsymons7084 4 роки тому

      It's not just about dyno power readings. We all know they read differently from manufacturer and dyno type, weather conditions etc... it's about some youtubers who just straight up pull numbers out of nowhere that are often wildly exaggerated just to get attention. There is a certain youtuber I used to watch who claimed for months that his car made 1000-1500hp, then after some time he finally put it on a dyno and it made 400hp at the wheels.
