This is a traditional Welsh New Year song and the English words are nothing like the Welsh. The Welsh talks of the cold snow on Snowdon (Eryri) and the cold man who does not love the old mountains of beloved Wales (Cymru). The middle verse also warns the listeners not to spend more than they earn on the festive celebrations! Nevertheless, I love this rendition.
