People say that brolys attacks break reality but that’s just the map barrier. it was shown back in the gameplay showcase when goku used the no hard feelings punch on vegeta.
I'm not sure that I agree with that but we'll see when we get our hands on it cause there's also a barrier Crack similar to the dimension shatter🤨🤷♂️
@@DerriousGamez that’s when they hit the barrier after somebody uses a heavy to knock them back. If you go back to the gameplay showcase you can see vegeta hit the barrier

@@RandomName-xx9ls if you look at gameplay in the world tournament opponents will bounce of the the barrier leaving a Crack but that can't be said with the dimension shatter so 🤷♂️
@DerriousGamez I've seen multiple other characters like Bergamo or Tien do that same Crack effect while punching near the stage barrier

What if local co-op was betrayed and locked in the hyperbolic time chamber for 100 years?
I mean, the reason they gave was very logical. It was either the local co-op gets locked away or your hardware literally melts from the sheer amount of shit it has to load at once. The time chamber was the only map that was available as it only had one destructible object + open area with nothing else to load. They could probably add more maps later by implementing different coding so that some destructible pieces are indestructible in co-op/they get destroyed in one go, less detailed environments, smaller areas, etc. But that would take a lot more time and care, making it a non viable option for the base release (considering its so close). With how good the game looks, it was obvious that some sacrifices were going to be made in order for our consoles to literally not explode.

I _think_ Majin Buu had that paralyzing beam in Tenkaichi 3, where it was called Kaikosen (which roughly translates to “Antenna Beam”), which King Piccolo also had.

Honestly don't know why everyone is hung on the the whole jetpack hercule thing, when this one makes the most sense. I wouldn't be surprised if buff roshi had the same movement as him.
I feel like Hercule/Satan still has the jet pack but it will be added later since the demo was on apparently quite the older build. Probably easier just to have him playable at first without and then add it in with jet effects and whatnot later.

People are just whining just to whine just like the ones that are so damn butthurt that SSBE is a buff and not an entire transformation which will most likely get changed later, so there no point of them whining in the first place.
I like Blue Evolution being a buff instead of a whole form, not like it does much different than the non-evolved form. @Sachi10007
the fact that SO MUCH from btk3 still hold up is insane, that game was a true masterpiece beyond its time
budokai tenkaichi 2 had more detail and freedom even more so than 3. Not sure why they didnt come back with the super armor, animations of effects of some characters powering up and more but its weird. Recently been playing all the Budokai tenkaichi games and man 2 is definitely the best of them all.

Re: the no 'Ring-Out' bit, I saw a clip that showed if you do an ultimate or a move that destroys the environment, you get a special added cutscene where the ref is like "we gotta get out of here" & you see the crowd up & leave the stadium just as you are abkut to destroy it. The attack plays out as normal but after the environmental damage you are now allowed to move freely even outside of the tournament building & are essentially now in a City Ruins stage, it's really well done & a great new mechanic for the stage imo. Although I do hope we have an option for regular old ringouts too
I’m glad we don’t have to aggressively spin our analog sticks or rapidly press the buttons extremely fast to win a few clashes. Considering how much more expensive game controllers are now and how much modern controllers seem to suffer from joy-con drift, it’s not worth it.
I remember playing my brother and he went that hard playing the game that the ceiling down stairs cracked and fell 😂😂

For the local Multiplayer, adding more stages beyond the time chamber can work. Like space, or a landscape with very little detail to accommodate multiplayer. Also, punching and kicking your blasts is amazing!🐉

The game just *LOOKS* so good man. Like itll be super fun just checking out every single character just to see the clothes physics, the battle damage, the hair flow, how their auras look, the battlefield destruction, the way their supers and ultimates look, everything. And theyve added what-ifs!
I think since the world tournament stage doesn't ring you out for touching the ground I think its gonna be like RB2 where the tournament mode rings you out not the stage.

SSJ3 Gotenks pretends to use the Kamehameha, just like the anime scene, which is a very cool detail.
It's not due to the effects and destruction that split screen couldn't work, it was because Sony and Microsoft prevented them from implementing it to sell more consoles and subscriptions. The stuff about the effects and this addition being last minute were probably because they finally reached a compromise, and that is implementing it in a very limited fashion. I'm more than willing to bet split scree could have worked just fine on other maps. Heck, I'll bet modders will show it was totally doable within weeks.

Sony and MS both lose money on console sales, and this game is not going to be on either of their subscription platforms.
MS just announced Black Ops 6 and Gears E-Day, both will support splitscreen.
It more than likely is possible, but not even sure how u get to the idea that 2 competing companies are working together to kill splitscreen for a game that has nothing to do with them. When the obvious answer is that Bandai just wanted to sell more copies.

It is because of the effects and destruction though. Think about it, if you have split screen, you have two entirely separate renderings of the same map on the screen simultaneously, making the graphics card (or internal graphics) work Twice as hard and with things like particles and destruction, it could crash the game if there's too many particles or rock debris. They could only do split screen on older games such as on PS3 and maybe PS4 because the games weren't as demanding and had hardware to handle it. Besides the devs said that split screen was NOT planned, they only focused on multiplayer and environmental destruction.
@@AutoSonic495 There have been posts about them not permitting it. It largely is about the restrictions from the publishers. They're saying the stuff about technical limitations because they can't pin the blame on Sony/Microsoft.
While the statement is true, at most both are true. But the more immediate thing is them just not allowing it.

Dragon Fist is going to affect giants, they haven't confirmed it but there's a very good reason for why:
Hirudegarn (the character the move was used on) is a giant, let's say Hirudegarn is in the base game or dlc at some point, it would be _extremely_ lame if you couldn't actually use the move FROM HIS MOVIE on him.

15:10 I think that skill (ability?) should be called quick recovery. I can recall it being used in the unspeakable DBZ: Sagas. Although it is also seen in BT3 (not the same way tho), just don't spam the button or you will be sent flying at high speed back at the opponent.

When will people learn…people keep asking/wanting manga characters in modern DB games but it WILL not happen. Ever, until it’s in anime form first so they can cross promote. That’s simply how DB operates. The IP is like Disney characters: under a labyrinth vault, behind diamond locks lmao. You can add Moro but your average DB enjoyer would go “who the fuck is this goat guy???” Shuheisha doesn’t want that, they want all fans to know who all the characters are. So make sure Daima does well and maybe…that’ll motivate the DBS anime to resume. Other anime IPs do their own thing, Dragonball like Pokemon is a different beast in and of itself unfortunately. Everyone doesn’t read or read the manga too so there’s that. Cell Max is as far as the DB games will go until further notice

you know what would be awesome if you did frieza and goku ultimate on each other you get them hitting each other at the same time like in the animation
2:57 so I recently played Raging Blast 1 on my PS3 and you can also do that there! being fully charged and using a super attack does not consume everything and lets you follow with an ultimate attack afterwards.
i like that, give split screen and let the fans know ahead of time why it is limited to one stage nobody can be upset about that
I haven't seen anyone else talk about it, but It also looks like every character will have a unique looking parry. 14:53 in KaDazee video vegeta does a cinematic parry against hercule that gives vegeta 1 bar of energy and takes 1 bar from hercule.
I wonder if it's the z-counter from the old BTs. Where if you press forward and punch as soon as an enemy makes contact you parry them and counter. I can't wait to get into vanish chains off of a z-counter again

To clarify, there is an option for QTE's to have classic or modern inputs, which is stick spinning or button mashing respectively.
The fact transformations heal you is amazing because it stops people from going right to whatever their highest form is right at the start, so just like the show its optimal for both people have to gradually transform as the fight gos on
7:00 Actually on BT3, when you pressed the directional arrows while charging a Kamehameha with specific characters you could slightly adjust your character position and your beam angle but that was a really uncommon feature
this game looks so good i almost wanna say its not even real gameplay. i really hope it lives up to expectation. glad the development team really made the game shine visually though, a lot of modern games look the same nowadays (at least AAA games) and its nice to see a really well done heavily stylized one.
In Tenkaichi 2, If you charge a Kamehameha, and push the stick left or right, you could potientially turn the blast, especially if your opponent is moving in that direction already
Seems to me that very few people know this... shame this feature wasn't implemented on 3, maybe it will be here again?

This is a small detail that they added in that I’m really happy about but I haven’t played much of the new games but I LOVE that they added the detail to wind rushing and spinning around them and debris flying away when they charge on the ground. Last game I remember having that was Ultimate tenkaichi, adds so much intensity

Hey KaDazee, i hope this helps and i wanted to bring it to your attention but if you look back at any of the Sparking Zero footage when the characters who have Ki manipulation charge their energy, there's also a unique little homage to the 90's anime as well as DragonBall Super. DragonBall Super's Vegeta's eyebrows furrow when he charged his energy and launched the final flash. Noticed it at 0.5 playback speed. :D
They got to make split screen work on other maps, this is a must have.

Two things.
1) I'm pretty sure the gameplay video with Dr Gero has him first doing Full Power Energy Wave and then his Ultimate rush attack, so that's confirmation that you can do a Super and then an Ultimate if you are fast enough with full power.
2) I think one of the videos with Golden Frieza also shows him performing the more cinematic move as Vegeta did in this video. The one you initiate with circle when you have sent an enemy flying.

13:20, that isn't majin buu's candy beam, it seems they just recoloured kaikosen to better fit buu. IIRC, he had kaikosen in BT3 too, though it was always weird to me how they didn't give him candy beam as a blast 2 in the old games

Honestly i think the Mr. Satan sending them flying with his punch is a reference to Hit throwing his fight against Monaka to show that he agree with Goku that they are not pawns of the God of Destruction of their universe
5:40 I think Vegeta staggers Broly in 3 hits because it's a stronger Vegeta here. That's Vegeta from Dragon Ball Super, where he's far stronger than Super Vegeta from the Cell Saga.
Also, Vegeta curving the final flash is something he actually did in the series, so extra points for accuracy
