Nice video mate, and really tidy work on that interior, It's given me the inspiration I've been looking for to get back into mine. I have a 1275 LS which I've stripped to bare shell only last year and she's been hanging on the rotisserie ever since while I contemplate my next move!!
Hey mate, $3k for the rust repairs which I thought wasn't too bad.. I had to spend an extra thousand once I got it painted as they found a bit more below one of the windows but the repairs in this vid were 3k :)
@@classicregister Thanks, looking at an LS in Tassie which will need a similar amount of welding, seems a pretty reasonable price. Your vids have been a great resource👍
Thanks Ben! Let me know how you go with the LS. I keep a register of those and have details of around 100+ of the cars so far. Would be great if you can save another LS ☺️
Hi I have a mini van same model same colour, it’s been totally stripped engine out, electrics out etc etc where is the best place to get parts ie panels brakes engine electrics etc etc
Hi Mick, minisport in South Australia have plenty of parts and can post anywhere - that's where I've found most bits over the years.. There are other suppliers out there though. Minisports website is minisport.com.au - that should give you plenty of material to browse through. Other than new, ebay, gumtree or facebook marketplace often present plenty of good second hand parts too! Good luck with the project!
@@micksaltmarsh1636 difficult question. If you want, send me an email classicregister@gmail.com with some pictures and I can probably give you a ballpark guess
Great little video looking forward to the next one Episode 5 with new paint

Those sills need vents, there's nowhere for the water to drain, it'll rust through from the inside out
😎👍

doing a "bog job" means you are wasting your time and efforts !! speaker holes should have been filled properly.
