Beaver panel 🤣 that's a new one on me. We call it a rear valance. Amazing how many differences aus spec cars have compared to UK. Like that door handle!
I helped get a lady 1972 Leyland Mni back on the road. It had been "stopped" for a year by trivial problem, a failured starter motor. A second hand unit was bought and we got the car back on the road again.
Careful about the wheels they may not have a load rating won’t pass rego I’m in nsw and I still own my first car 65 deluxe almond green purchased in 1990 I also have my third car 67 deluxe I have a lot of work 😢
Thanks for your comment. I'm fairly certain the sills are the same but there are certainly differences in the floor pans - as I understand it the Australian pans have a raised area that ran between the front and rear subframes to allow the brake lines to be better protected (the raised area also has an aluminium capping cover piece that bolted over the lines for additional protection.

Great video! I've got a 1275ls awaiting the same treatment. 🍻👍

This is so cool man. My dad bought one almost exactly the same and we are trying to restore it too. Good luck.

Great car! Bit of a silly question for you. Do Ausi built minis have the same sill and floor as british cars?
