Changing the pads on the right side went a lot quicker. Partly because the spring on the inner pad was more easily accessible to both remove and replace. But also I chose to just unclip both springs 1st then remove the pads. (No jammed screwdriver involved) and I put the outer pad back in with spring already attached as opposed to fiddling it back with long nosed pliers
The spring arm and the one way knurled nut are for the auto adjustment of the handbrakes, which I could never get to work even on new parts. Hence why the added locking nut is fitted to ensure it does not self adjust.
