Forts is a physics-based RTS where foes design and build custom bases, arm them to the teeth and blast their opponent's creations to rubble.
Build an armoured fort in real-time and arm it to the teeth. Collect resources, develop your tech-tree, unlock advanced weapons to target your opponent's weak points, and feel the satisfaction as their fort comes crashing down.

One thing I really like about the Forts community: people don't just surrender when they're in a bad spot. They fight to the bitter end - which is a) way more fun for the other team, since they get to enjoy the fruits of their victory, b) a lot more interesting to watch than 'gg no re (quits)', and c) provides the opportunity for the occasional exciting comeback story.
I've never seen a comeback 1v2 thou :/

Same. I need a LOT more hours to even be able to survive a multiplayer match until canon o'clock.
@@noodlekeeper5150Cannon o'clock is mostly a thing on 4v4 maps, where the amount of enemies disincentives rush-down strategies. (Essentially, a rocket rush beats a cannon rush in a 1v1 because they kill them early. Rocket rush loses in 4v4 because the other enemies suppress you, and then out scale you.)
In a 1v1, going straight cannons is not usually a good strategy. In a 4v4, going anything other than heavy weapons is cheese at best.
@@nikolaysitnikov796 Fair. I just mean that my forts always come out pretty shit, it takes way more skill than other RTS, imo, cause even a small mistake can cause your whole fort to collapse after the first volley.
"Hagelslag Maten" is dutch for "Chololate Sprinkel Guys/Mates" XD.
I redd it as "Hagelschlag" wich would had been ger for halestrike mats. Thanks for saving me from some online humiliation. ^^

@@nes819 Funny enough "hagel" does actualy mean "hail" in dutch and "slag" can be translated to "strike" too.

Would love to see a video explaining all of the different parts of the FPL, as there isn't much readily available information on the format/meta. A comprehensive summary of the general strategy/mechanics of competitive Forts could go a long way in getting new players into the Forts scene.

Will need to wait for the legends.
Teams in the leagues are free to plan and schedule games on their own. With competitors in timezones from all over the world, that means the games are taking place at all sorts of totally random times throughout the week, meaning streaming those is unfeasible. Most of the times there's no casters in the lobby, because games are rarely taking place when a caster is available, and occasionally we have multiple games taking place at the same time.

Errmm.. as a spectator then its easy to miss a lot of the good hits when you zoom in on one player. Would it be possible to edit the vid so we can see when the shot land on a player that isnt zoomed in on

So on the resorce bar for each player there is name, health, metal, energy, water and what they are repairing
Obviously the water is wrong but anyone know what it is actually representing
It's amount of resources floated away -- how much their mines/windmills could have generated, but their storage was already maxed, so it's unused/effectively lost resources.

i miss watching your forts videos incursus, i dont like the livestreams and the commentaries
this is why i dislike 2v2, there is no catch up mechanic in this game so as soon as u kill 1 player, its like a 90% chance the outcome of the game is decided. then u have liek 10 mins or something of watching one player get bullied and its really just not interesting to watch
I'd rather see you play the game rather than analyze other people's games.

there is definitely such a thing as trying too hard, like how saying "hagelslag maten" gets progressively worse throughout the video, to the point where it sounds like youre just trying to cough up a hairball all over the mic...
