Can't wait for your channel to be renamed "White Beard Projects". I really hope you'll keep making these videos for a very long time. Your work is absolutely sensational. Sei simplicemente un genio. Amicizia di Francia.
It’s silly, but I recommend a pair of large googly eyes 👀 on the hammer, so they bounce when used. You’ll giggle every time you see it. Also, your English is getting better 👍🏼. Keep up the great builds and restoration videos. Stay safe.
My father has been a mechanical engineer for over 50 years. He saw the video and said, "The dude knows his stuff. It shows in the order in which he screws the bolts."
For those wondering what Josh and his boyfriend are saying it is this... I made a joke that the hammering machine sound is like the sound of my parents having sex that I could hear when I was a kid. It’s funny because sex shouldn’t sound like two metal blocks banging together, but the rhythm of it does make the joke work. Josh, or his lover added a comment that needed a bit of deciphering as it was barely understandable. Josh or Ms Josh (apologies as I don’t know how you identify) said that I was bragging about my dad. I wasn’t technically doing this so unfortunately your comment doesn’t work. I wish it had as it would have been a good laugh. But it does seem that it brought the two of you closer together as you both immediately liked each other’s comments. I don’t want to get in the way of you little “thumbs up circle jerk” as I accept you both and want you both to be happy. I also invite your addition comments below which I look forward too with great anticipation as to what genius you will come up with next.
Thank you Josh for the invite to your sleepover. Unfortunately due to a prior commitment to adulthood I will be unable to attend at that time. I would also like to allay your concerns that your comments aggravated my posterior and let you know it is totally fine. Your fascination online with the rectum of another is a little worrying but I’m sure you and Ms Josh are happy. Thank you again for trying to play this game. Over to you for your witty and well worded retort no doubt. Ps. Please continue to use the word Bruh or shortened “Bru” as it underlines the magnanimous intelligence at play here. Sincerely.
ElectronicRedPanda Brilliant! I wonder if that took you a while to come up with? I’m not gay (just ask your Mom) (joking) but so what if I was? Are you saying there is something wrong with that? It’s funny you call yourself Panda as it has been shown that male Pandas will occasionally sleep with other male pandas for the hell of it. I would also like to congratulate you on your spelling and grammar. Instead of “Hey! Do you happened by chance to prefer the warm orifice of the same sex, or some version there of?” You decided it was too much effort or you lacked the knowledge to construct your sentence correctly. I do hope you reply as I live to troll people who have little hope on ever winning. As a test to prove you are not lacking in grey matter, please try to make your response sound like you paid attention at school. I’m waiting with great excitement for my new “Panda” friends response.
Always good to see power-tools restored, because it's easy to tell they'll then be put to use in restoring more things. There's just so much a good power hammer can be used for!
beautiful work...as always. NOTE: when installing any piston rings place the openings (in this case of 2) 180 degrees apart to minimize leakage. Did you forget to install the flywheel key??
4:03 The shaft of the big pulley is completely worn out, and to simply ignore it until it becomes a really big problem is the absolute right way to do :D
Awesome video! With some text explaining what some of the stuff does it would be even more educational for a beginner like me. Still, I very much enjoy watching!
GREAT RESTORATION!!!! on the Power Hammer, BBP!!. Thanks for sharing. Is there anything that you can't do?, I subscribed 2 years ago and everything you touch comes out perfect. You are a MASTER CRAFTSMAN!!!.
I listened very much in watching your videos. I hope you will make a video explaining to us how this hammer works and what is the role of each part of it. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.
Awesom restoration, you have the talent to bring old things back to life, you have excellent inventiveness and a lot of manual skills, you are the best
Did you re-pack the inner bearing of the lower shaft assembly? Those are taper bearings and come in opposing sets and both bearings should be repacked at the same time. Also, the taper bearings need to be installed with a set amount of pre-load. Did you check to see if you had enough pre-load on the bearings (should be tight, but still able to spin).
Hey love your videos. I was wondering if you had time constraints for this one were you in a hurry? Bondo over the rust? If that's not cutting corners I wonder what is.
Awesome restoration on a awesome tool. Looks like the fan on that paint gun could have used a little adjustment though. Didn’t look like it was spraying a very decent pattern.
Very cool restoration... Only thing I noticed was that it might need new teeth/heads, for the parts that make impact. They are quite worn down, and we're making loads of markings on the piece of metal that was being worked on... Just a thought.
Great, but i don‘t know what this small pipe does, that you made... How come you know how to fix something like this? Is there any information about this in the net?
Absolutely awesome! Really enjoy your restorations. I have an English wheel I’m working on. What is the cleaning solution you are using. Seem that it works well with the elbow grease you are using?
Yeah man, I'm with the others in the coments. Those gaskets deffinitly look like asbestos. Depending on the age of the hammer could be leaded paint as well. As per the usual, fully sick job on the work done. It looks wicked, but.... safety first.
LOOKS GREAT! Hands down one of my top favorite restorations! Wish you would have mad new dies for it. I understand why you left them round but I don’t think i would have! Keep up the good work!

When he first tried out his newly restored power hammer, that was just nuts.
I love how you don't over-restore tools that are going to be used.
What do you mean "over-restore"? Logically the thing cannot be over-restored, so you must mean under-restore?
@@GrommiD Over restoring is when you turn the item into a show piece that is not intended to be used.

That is the cleanest power hammer setup I've ever seen. Great finishing touches!
Your neighbors must love hearing that thing! Looks great. Might be useful to make some different hammer shapes for various functions.
Beautiful restoration! Love the machinery gray!
Was just thinking it has been a while since a BBP video. Then this pops up. It doesn't disappoint. These are fantastic little machines!
Did you leave rust under that body filler patch?
Great job! Why do you use sand in the manufacture of the hook from the tube? In order to avoid deformation?
The sand keeps the tube from collapsing while bending. Once bent, pour the sand out.
Finally. You got one of these. Bravo!
Classic rebuild. Every shop needs one. Excellent video. Thank you. 😊
what weight of the puncher ? it is a china hammer? looks pretty similar to mine
Something like 13-14kg.
Yeah, no marking but looks just like an Anyang! Perhaps an early model. Cheers brother 🍻

One of the better videos. I've never seen oil used as a gasket sealer before, but then I have never seen an air hammer restored before either...
Great job, the green would match the buffer.
Man that is a really nice color paint! Do you happen to have a paint code or color/manufacturer? I have a lathe that needs this color bad!
What a beautiful piece of machinery.
I really like how your channle is branching out and does several different things. I think the first videos I seen from you. You were making rings.
All I can say it’s : WoW 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻🍀
Wonderful work
You look like you’ve done that before and make it look easy. Great job and very inventive!
After watching Alec Steele restore multiple massive power hammers, this thing is absolutely adorable.
It's crazy how the function is exactly the same even though his is so much bigger!

hello what kind of cleaner do you use in the spray?
@Black Beard Projects What solvent you use for cleaning? A degreaser similar to Meglio maybe?
Very nice and very impressive... Black Beard we want a tour in the shop... 😁
Nice restoration, however it looks like you didn't space the piston ring gaps 180 degrees to each other?
not bad, are you going to trackdown/forge out alternate heads for it?
Nice restoration, that's a beautiful little machine.
It has only one negative side, which is an appreciative work, and that is if its color remained its original color, my brother.
Nice to see the subtle nod to HTR at 20:01.

Great... now I'm online looking for a used small power hammer to restore lol. Great video man.
Hooray! Now you can forge more complex stuff! Awesome!
Quick question is this safe? What if you use it and it's not properly put back together. It could go wrong

A real work of art to start with and you improved it so well. Thanks for the video!
Where do you even find these, I cannot find any nearby where I live.
Good stuff as always mate!
What are you using to clean your parts??
Mate, use caution, those looked like they might be asbestos gaskets
They definitely looked like asbestos gaskets, and that's out of that era. New gaskets fitted with oil is a poor practice.
One of my first thoughts when I saw that 'fibrous' gasket.
