5:42 Those three hikers were bouncing over their territory so quickly, I just wish that they would slow down a little to enjoy nature’s beautiful small wildflowers and blooming grasses.
The cut didn't hurt at all. The fall knocked the wind out of me, and my arm hurt, but that was OK. Just a little cut. The knee got the Superglue treatment to keep it shut.
Be careful about burning the candle at both ends. Having been a long term caregiver with a more than full time, i speak from experience, and recovery can be slow if you are not careful, hard to admit you're human sometimes. Hope you continue to feel better. I still haven't caught up with your videos, but watched the last couple of ones. Try to keep up with your nutrition and enough sleep!
@@Adventure_Together You are! I am still back on video 70-ish and you battled with some bad fatigue back then, and almost seems to be a theme at different times. I know you can do amazing miles and you have some time constraints, but do be careful.
That tool along the trail is called a McLeod. It is a wildland fire fighting tool.
I wonder why they left it where it was. There were no other tools anywhere around.
Al, I’m so relieved that you’re back to your normally strong hiking self!
And his sense of humour!
Just needed some time.
Really glad you got your energy back. Keep hiking on.
I'll be doing my best each day.

The tool you found is called a mcloud.used often by firefighters in the west.
I wonder why they left it there.
39 miles! Wow!
I've had a lot of practice to hit those numbers
Those cows don’t need to run from you. Cows are friends not food😂. Your photos are always so beautiful.
Nice too swe you back to your usual self.
And oh, that cut must have hurt! It does look a bit deep indeed 😬

10:36 I believe that a name change is in order! You will now be known as “Refused to get Stitches”

@@Adventure_TogetherThe picture made your cut look deep and wide, with stitches a possibility.

That's valuable advice. I've done it before with terrible results. I'm being too strict with myself.

Maybe short on electrolites?
Perhaps that was it. I usually take quite a few each day. I can't remember how many I had that particular day.

Where? In the forest. It seems so.
@@Adventure_Together yes
I move to a different location every day. Slowly making my way to Canada from Mexico.
So THAT is the rake that Trump meant the US forest service should use to rake the forest to avoid fires...!! Now I get it...! 😁😂
It has a purpose!
