I cldnt wait to get home to see this series. Reminds me in a way of The Walton's back in the day. Family oriented, good wholesome life! Being thankful for every little bit we had. Very hands on with both family series!
I never even saw this show once when it was on t.v. I looked up the time it ran, and it was 1976 through 1980. I graduated in '77 so now I know why. Too busy dating and having my teen time. I really am enjoying seeing what I missed out on....lol
Thanks for posting. This is a great show. Would you please post consecutive episodes? It would be wonderful to see this show again in order. Please consider it. Thanks you so much.
I would have given anything to have had Doug Lawrence defending some hoodlum who was arrested by Dirty Harry Callahan, and while the jury’s out deliberating, Harry takes Doug to one side and they have an argument with one another that no one in Pasadena, especially Kate is likely to find out about it.
When this episode originally aired I was experiencing the first painful pangs of being an empath, introvert and slight case of autism and just plain arcane, but I was unaware that what it was, and I just felt isolated and completely lost. Caused so much trauma.
James Broderick is the Father of Matthew Broderick his is a great actor with a great heart of who he really is But the show called family it has the other cast including Sada Thompson Gary Frank Kristy McNichol and Meredith Baxter the show is called family but I never watch the show for a long time.
How old is the son supposed to be in this show? And who's baby is that (Selina's) ?? Baby sister Buddy reminded me of Dee from What's Happening?! In this episode. 😄
All in all, the benchmark example of cheesy writing, extra cheesy acting and sappy musical score, 70's TV, rates right up there with the 70's contribution to music, DISCO!!! Yuck!!!!
Then DON'T watch!😠 No need to leave negative comments, just zip it and keep on scrolling🤨... There's many of us who truly enjoy these wholesome shows (including myself)!😛
I use to love this Family Series it brings back old memories

I've always loved this show.
I am glad I discovered this series. Missed this when I was growing up
20 minutes in, "Is the baby still upstairs in the bed, alone, propped up on pillows?!?!!"
Puzzling, isn’t it?
I LOVE this show!!!!
Then you have bats 🦇 in your belfry.

2:12 He's speaking facts. Nobody who lives in San Francisco calls it Frisco. San Fran is frowned upon too.
not.
Obviously it looks like the Haight-Ashbury days took care of that.

EXCELLENT VIEWING. Season Hubley is gorgeous and a great actress. Thank you very much.
Even appearing on a softcore soap opera like this must have paid out lousy guest appearance bread.
Please show more of family episodes ❤
Doesn’t this soap opera run out of fans?
Party like it's 1977 !
Good old fashioned classic good tv ❤
Wow 90k, 2 million at least today!

Arnie it’s a beautiful show from Blue Pictures Television.
The house is like the Ramsey home in Boulder Colorado

Once someone called the mother on this show "priggish" . What on EARTH does that mean?
dont own a dictionary?
❤❤❤
This lady who just seated herself in the kitchen is obviously a sibling or a cousin of Mrs. Fowler from the sitcom “NANNY & THE PROFESSOR”.
Buddy the snitch
Priscilla morrill she was good

The son in question is in his late teens to early twenties, even though the actor in question is in his middle to late twenties.
My Mom used to watch this when I was young. I thought it was the stupidest suckiest show I ever saw. Only person I liked on it was Kristy McNichol
Why anyone would want to watch this softcore soap opera is beyond me.

The '70s weren't ALL disco. You're VERY misinformed.
Corey, you have terrible taste.
You’re correct on everything you just mentioned about this rotten soap opera, but I wouldn’t have mentioned Disco if I were you.
Walnut Grove didn’t have any disco clubs, and the closest thing that Walton’s Mountain had to a disco at all was the old Dew Drop Inn.
