It’s funny when they get mad when you take away the covenant weapons that had cuz they knew they were better than their standard weaponry
To be fair, the Needler is one of the most OP weapons in Halo.
Lore wise human weapons were just as good if not better in some aspects to covenant weapons but it’s just in the games that human weapons suck
They like the power weapons like beam rifles and fuel rod guns.

They didnt want to lose their position in the covenant, due to the prophets having the same DNA as humans. Which will lead too many prophets or the prophets losing fame, my guess anyway.

That would be Alan Tudyk who voiced that tank marine.
Yeah, Bungie brought back Nathan Fillion, Alan Tudyk, and Adam Baldwin to voice playable characters in the Halo 3 spin-off and they even had their re-recorded lines for when Buck, Mickey, and Dutch are in the battlefield during gameplay.
The marine that the brute that interrogates in sierra 117 is nathan fillion, who plays buck in odst and so on.

I wonder why some humans are not part of the banished. If they kicked rhe ass of the covenant then why not renegades who hate the unsc? There was still a lot of insurectionists left over.

1:04 - Fun lore fact: there were many Elites who saw the bravery that humans displayed on the battlefield and actually wanted them to join the Covenant.
I find it so amazing that they had people record sound files for these. Really gives the marines more character and same with alot of other small characters. The little details are what help make this game so great.

1:59-2:03 Alan Tudyk-voiced random marine. Same exact voice he later used for Mickey in Halo 3: ODST. 2:54-2:57 Nathan Fillion-voiced random marine sergeant which just had Nathan Fillion’s normal voice and he later voiced Buck in Halo 3: ODST with that same exact voice.

They always get mad when you take their needlers, even when you give them better weapons.
Well the needler is pretty good all things considered. It has homing rounds, ammo is easy to come by and that's not even mentioning the fact that the thing blows up your enemies if you hit them enough.

Besides the somewhat limited ammo, needlers are probably like the 3rd best weapon in halo.
They consider them to be power weapons

The best part of Halo is the dialogue, the fact that the AI can say dozens of different lines is just amazing and makes the game GOLD. Love Bungie

I guess it’s because you and I aren’t weirdos goofing off in the campaign and play the game like how it’s supposed to be played without that skull that extends the AI allies and enemies dialogue, without staring at our allies for too long, and without killing our own allies. i remember when i was little at my grandparents house watching my grandfather play halo 3, when i had to go pee briefly. i think my grandfather had to go do something since he wasn't in the room when i came back, but when i walked in the room i was prompty greeted with "where ya been? takin a leak or somethin?" by one of the marines staring at master chief.
it took me several years to realize that the marines in halo 3 were not in fact sentient, and that it was just a rare voice line.
