This meant that lobbies would be made, and then immediately 3 people drop because they wanted to be the monster. That game was so fun. My wraith and bucket didn't lose
My problem with Evolve was that it was the first game I played where it was blatantly obvious that the game I paid $60 for was only 70% of the intended experience. They clearly had the additional monsters designed and ready at release but decided to make you pay extra. I booted the game for the first time and saw that there were 2 monsters available to play as and 2 that were available to purchase. Have you ever given money to a struggling relative that had issues with drugs but was showing signs of heading the right direction? Only to have them immediately blow the money you gave them and ask you for more money? That’s what booting up this game for the first time felt like.
I really wish Ghosts II came out so we could have a conclusive ending to the cliffhanger from Ghosts. Fans would have loced it more so than the failure that was the Modern Warfare reboot trilogy. I would at least, I enjoyed Ghosts to begin with.
I'll be honest, what happened with Cyberpunk is what is wrong with modern gaming. As someone who was a huge fan of Evolve, I frankly don't think the DLC controversy killed it. It certainly gave the game a poor reputation on launch but the fundamental issue was how the game was structured. The game at launch demanded the hunters to run around a map chasing a monster. A match would take 15-20 minutes but more than half the time spent by the hunters is chasing a monster that is incentivised to hide and run until they hit stage 2 or 3. It just wasn't very fun for the hunters. Especially if the monster was an expert at hiding or the trapper player was clueless. Another issue was with matchmaking. Specifically how the game assigned roles. In Evolve, you simply ranked the roles in order you wanted to play them. Let's say you really didn't want to play Medic so you put it at the very bottom of the priority queue. You get matched up with 4 other players. But all 5 of you put Medic as bottom priority. The end result is that someone is going to end up playing a character class you really did not want. You'll end up frustrated and more likely to not want to play anymore. Heck, people auto leaving the match because they ended up as the medic is a common sight. And honestly, the four hunters all need to do their job and be on point to win. This wasn't like other competitive shooters or MOBAs where an ace player can potentially carry the team to victory. In Evolve, all 4 Hunters are essential and having one as a bot or even an incompetent player would usually be an automatic loss for the team. If the Monster player screws up, they only have themselves to blame. But if one out of the four hunters screw up, the team will crumble to an almost comical degree.

I’m currently playing Cyberpunk 2077. The launch was rough to say the least, I managed to get the game for 20$ at a local game shop, then Best Buy was selling the metal collection case for 5$.Then a year goes by and the dlc with a new update made Cyperpunk one of my favorite games of all time. So worth playing today. Love your videos bro keep it up brother.🤘
Gotta speak on R6 here. I started back in Blood Orchid and ended up quitting until White Noise was over. After that I really learned the game, I even have it plat on ps4 (I was gunna do it for ps5 but I don’t have the energy to do that nowadays) Chimera was one of the most fun I’ve ever had on that game, once Outbreak event started, it was amazing! It was so fun to play. I always thought it would’ve done great as an expansion to the game. Look what they chose, and see how it played out. If it was in the game at least people would’ve been more inclined to play it. They just wanted a separate monetization for R6 and it killed their fun mode
Okay another reason that p.t hurt so bad was the fact that both JUNJI ITO AND DEL TORO were involved! Like????? Kojima, Del Toro, Junji, and Norman Reedus? That's literally such a dream team.

Bought Evolve Digital Deluxe Edition for somewhere around $80 on release. It was a fun game but if no one is playing it then it dies. I understand why everyone quit.
Wait are you trying to say that Ghosts has a better campaign than Infinite Warfare? Because that’s ostensibly just not true in terms of narrative, characters and story presentation etc.
Rainbow Six Patriots was canceled, but many elements of it did get repurposed for Rainbow Six Siege. Elite Squadron was also released on the DS, which many people, me included, consider the superior version of the game. Not only that, but leaked builds of Battlefront 3 on the internet give weight to the idea the game was almost finished when it was canned.
I played Radical Heights. It was a game by Cliffy B iirc that’s why it had hype. But it was super early access and died out very fast cuz there was almost no content but one map. Marvel Avengers was just delisted but you were able to buy it for four dollars for the game and all DLC just recently
I personally loved CoD DMZ, and never played Tarkov because I hated how Tarkov looked and doing my research on the game would have never played due to I dislike everything I see about it so it saddened me that the only thing I liked about the genre is being cancelled.
Rainbow Six Patriots being replaced by Siege is such a disappointment, i first saw Evolve as PAX East and they had a tournament going on and it was actually alot of fun to watch.
R6P is referenced in sieges storyline and ghost recon wild lands so it’s canon (ashame it’ll probably never get released, also there was a military controversy tied to patriots)
Rainbow six seige had zombies not aliens and it had a side campiagn with it as well as outfits and u had special limited charms if u played the hardcore mode where friendly fire was on, and i collected every single charm there was, where i spend all day amd night just to get them and when i heard that rainbow was eplanding on the idea ,i thought it was be more of the same cuz the gameplay of the mode then was cod zombies with elements of seige soo i thought extraction was gonna be the same thing but instead they turned into something completely differnt, then wat i experienced back in late 2019 , i was extremely disappointed cuz the game was marketed as ,wat happened with the zombies after operation chimera and it was to continue the story from the zombies mode but they changed the story, changed the disease itself, the zombies, the gameplay and how the zombies interacted with the environment and players, they basically recon everything from rainbow six seige and acted like it ever happened and even they environments originally designed from seige was scapped cuz they had a motel map, city map, suburbs map, farm map with barn, and a hosital map ,trailer park map and most of it was all connected like a giant map like bruh 😭 and after that around late 2021 seige began to self sensor about the game and changed everything ,now the game feels more its a hero shooter than a Tactical shooter thats y i dont play rainbow anymore cuz it doesnt feel the same anymore and the devs show favoritism with the operators cuz some of them have more than one elite outfit and eaxh one is worth like 20$ and the elite outfits were supposed to be origanlly ww2 inspired outfit but with steampunk aesthetic, now some elites skins are just like y, and i even bought some when the style was like the ww2 inspried ones but now its not evem worth it anymore , cuz they just throw whatever and expect u to like it 😒 and then the devs rather have cool limited skins then to actually fix the game or bugs or constantly tweaking the operators 😒 instead of making every operator unqiue amd play to there strength amd leave it alone ,on top of that they rather listen to anyone that complains about a certain operator thats to strong and should be nurfed😒🤦 like for example, ofc LMG is gonna be stronger than the SMG so like y are they nurfing the LMG then ,so the SMG can be on the same lvl as the LMG🤦 it ridiculous ,its not even realistic anymore
Glad to see Heroes of the Storm recognized. Thankfully they left it in a good state and my group of friends still play it every week, but man it could have been so much more if Blizz execs had properly supported it.
Jesus, P.T. was in 2014? fuuuuuuuu I was a huge walking dead fan from season 4 onward. Tbh I wish Daryl had died much earlier now and we had kept Carl and Andrew Lincoln. They were the hearts of the show and Daryl was just a grunting mess. I wouldn't mind if they had just canceled Silent Hills, happens all the time. But Konami removing P.T. from the PS store forever was the biggest D move in the history of D moves. I will never forgive Konami for that, and they are still scummy bags today. I played that Rainbow Six Extraction ingame event and beat everything on every difficulty for the charms, it’s really sad they didn’t bring it back every Halloween. Extraction was a terrible idea. I miss old Rainbow Six from when I was a kid Evolve’s devs messed up so bad. If they didn’t screw it up with dlc and charging $2 for the color blue.. oh what could’ve been. Evolve looked so good for its day in graphics, it just needed refinement in gameplay Battlefront 3 being canceled while being basically done was suuuper lame. I loved those games on PS2, I wanted a third. I also wanted a third left 4 dead. Hated Valve for that one for a long time Oh man, I almost spent over $100+ I think on the ultimate founders version of Anthem before the game came out I think, believing it could be another Warframe. I’m glad I realized EA was behind it because it got canceled so fast after they gave up. I’m so happy when games get leaked like Duke Nukem Forever OG. It’s too bad Project Origin (original FEAR 2) was never leaked because Monolith ruined the final game.
51:08 Bethesda didnt meet the standards they wanted from Prey 2 so it got canceled ( even first prey took ten years to develop ) and Bethesda told arkane studios to slap Prey name on their new project that has nothing to do with the other prey .
Worst part is, the newer 'Prey' is great, but its name ends up meddling things a lot and confuses newcomers to the franchise The modern prey has more in common with Metroid than anything
BF:BC3 would have to be 110% on the mark, it would be so hyped up in the battlefield community that anything less than perfection would be devastating.
Call of duty ghosts also started off real buggy but in a couple of months they addressed a lot of issues such as spawns and server issues the game ended up being really good, the people who hate it either never played it or played it when it first come out then never got back on it, was actually a really good cod towards the end and the feeling of guns and gunfights in that game were so different to any cod before or after it, overhated game for sure
Marvel midnight Suns from what I know (which isnt a whole lot) it seems like a good game there was a lot of good visuals and costumes for our favorite marvel characters and it had a running story but everyone hated how it was a card game I don't know what support it gets now or if it's fell off or not but maybe It should be included next time. Also I Used To Play Evolve When It First came out at my friends house, it hurts my soul to now hear about it 9 years later and how it ended
3:21 there is something so funny about how opinions of COD are basically an NPC script. “BO2 except maybe MW2”. And he amount of times people say this… Cod 2023 proves that cod has always been Copy-paste. We literally have the same maps from 2009… yet public opinion is worse than ever! The conclusion is simple, COD is McDonald’s gaming and the community will never be happy.

However as a Resident Evil game it’s garbage.
it is. but if you look at it like an action survival game set in that world like say what Outbreak was then its not bad
When hes talking about Resident Evil "I got stuck and gave up" Literally me with the RE1 Remaster
RIP Loudout. if you know you know
That Dragonforce song you're thinking of is Fury Of The Storm
Swinging ape studios made one of my all time favorite games, metal arms glitch in the system. Supposed to have a sequel supposedly but never happened
honorable mention to Paragon. pretty sure that got killed by Fortnite BR too
I freaking loved extinction mode I grinded so many teeth 🦷 I unlocked double class mods and the OP ammo I deffo think ghosts got screwed by the community I’d love to see a COD Ghosts 2 and extinction mode back again it’ll make a change from zombies 🧟♂️ I think that’s why I liked it in the beginning also Blops 2 is the GOAT 🐐 imo
Star Wars 1313 and prey 2 these games I wish they came out but sadly it won’t
That halo mega bloks game looked really neat ngl
Great video, glad you guys talked about most of em
I’m currently playing Cyberpunk 2077. The launch was rough to say the least, I managed to get the game for 20$ at a local game shop, then Best Buy was selling the metal collection case for 5$.Then a year goes by and the dlc with a new update made Cyperpunk one of my favorite games of all time. So worth playing today. Love your videos bro keep it up brother.🤘
Gotta speak on R6 here. I started back in Blood Orchid and ended up quitting until White Noise was over. After that I really learned the game, I even have it plat on ps4 (I was gunna do it for ps5 but I don’t have the energy to do that nowadays)
Chimera was one of the most fun I’ve ever had on that game, once Outbreak event started, it was amazing! It was so fun to play. I always thought it would’ve done great as an expansion to the game.
Look what they chose, and see how it played out. If it was in the game at least people would’ve been more inclined to play it. They just wanted a separate monetization for R6 and it killed their fun mode
R.I.P Splitgate. Such a fun concept
Y’all forgot Monday Night Combat. That game was too good. I wish they never gave up on it
Okay another reason that p.t hurt so bad was the fact that both JUNJI ITO AND DEL TORO were involved! Like?????
Kojima, Del Toro, Junji, and Norman Reedus?
That's literally such a dream team.
Me and my friends are always talking about wanting a COD Ghosts sequel… Especially with that damn cliffhanger ending
It felt so good knowing what Dinosaur Planet was already, really supporting my username
save the world was left back so bad that i realized they started giving out free codes for it in skin packs for the BR portion of fortnite, Just insane.
Think you meant to say advanced warfare at 3:58 instead of infinite warfare
i absolutely loved bad company. it still is one of the best stories
Love the inclusion of cod ghost, frankly one of the most underrated and more balanced cods to date. Killer campaign as well, me and my friends always cope each year hoping to see its story continued.
Bought Evolve Digital Deluxe Edition for somewhere around $80 on release. It was a fun game but if no one is playing it then it dies. I understand why everyone quit.
All the classic games in the 90s and 00s needs to be remastered
Wait are you trying to say that Ghosts has a better campaign than Infinite Warfare?
Because that’s ostensibly just not true in terms of narrative, characters and story presentation etc.
Crazy how Metroid Dread escape such a fate
HOLY. SHIT. STARFOX ADVENTURES. you just unlocked part of my childhood
Star Wars battlefront 3 actually had a leaked build a few years ago. In a playable state!
Man I forgot about scaleblund, that could have been such a fun game I think
DMZ was so fun and it had a great community with it
Love these hour videos!
Cod Ghosts campaign was underrated in my opinion.
I mean it’s ur opinion but i totally disagree 👍
Such a great video! Loving your Channel been crushing your videos all day while at work
Ah evolve. I was a kraken main, elder kraken specifically, I miss it.
I’m not a cod fan like that but me and my ex played tf outta ghost and we both loved it or at least I did. The guns were just my type
I love Call of Duty Ghosts, never understood the hate, and I always wanted to see a sequel. Star Wars 1313 is tragedy
Evolve was painful for me. Loved that game
24:44 not mentioning bad fur day in that roster is crazy.
Surprise no megaman mention, specially Legends 3
I was really looking forward to silent Hill pt, was so cool
If evolve come out around now it would more then likely be a lot more acceptable now
Glad to see Heroes of the Storm recognized. Thankfully they left it in a good state and my group of friends still play it every week, but man it could have been so much more if Blizz execs had properly supported it.
Not having bad company 3 still hurts to this day
Ghosts2 was probably that NX1 project
Jesus, P.T. was in 2014? fuuuuuuuu
I was a huge walking dead fan from season 4 onward.
I miss old Rainbow Six from when I was a kid
Evolve’s devs messed up so bad. If they didn’t screw it up with dlc and charging $2 for the color blue.. oh what could’ve been. Evolve looked so good for its day in graphics, it just needed refinement in gameplay
Battlefront 3 being canceled while being basically done was suuuper lame. I loved those games on PS2, I wanted a third.
I also wanted a third left 4 dead.
Hated Valve for that one for a long time
Oh man, I almost spent over $100+ I think on the ultimate founders version of Anthem before the game came out I think, believing it could be another Warframe. I’m glad I realized EA was behind it because it got canceled so fast after they gave up.
I’m so happy when games get leaked like Duke Nukem Forever OG.
It’s too bad Project Origin (original FEAR 2) was never leaked because Monolith ruined the final game.
Advance warfare: new movement
Black ops 3: rips off titanfall
Infinite war: it just exists
Rainbow six hurts i just remember seeing the trailer drop on G4
51:08 Bethesda didnt meet the standards they wanted from Prey 2 so it got canceled ( even first prey took ten years to develop ) and Bethesda told arkane studios to slap Prey name on their new project that has nothing to do with the other prey .
Worst part is, the newer 'Prey' is great, but its name ends up meddling things a lot and confuses newcomers to the franchise
The modern prey has more in common with Metroid than anything
BF:BC3 would have to be 110% on the mark, it would be so hyped up in the battlefield community that anything less than perfection would be devastating.
The cycle released as a fast paced game then copied tarkov and slit its own neck
Command & Conquer: Generals 2 , Canceld after an alpha test. And the one i whanted and many more "END of Nation" sad story there
the rest of the bc2 campaign was the MP i’ve heard
Marvel midnight Suns from what I know (which isnt a whole lot) it seems like a good game there was a lot of good visuals and costumes for our favorite marvel characters and it had a running story but everyone hated how it was a card game I don't know what support it gets now or if it's fell off or not but maybe It should be included next time. Also I Used To Play Evolve When It First came out at my friends house, it hurts my soul to now hear about it 9 years later and how it ended
Evolve still hurts😢😢 idk how they messed that up so bad
3:21 there is something so funny about how opinions of COD are basically an NPC script.
“BO2 except maybe MW2”. And he amount of times people say this…
Cod 2023 proves that cod has always been Copy-paste.
We literally have the same maps from 2009… yet public opinion is worse than ever!
The conclusion is simple, COD is McDonald’s gaming and the community will never be happy.
i played anthem twice and beat the game twice. I enjoyed it honestly :P way, waaaaay after it was already dead
Oh i beg yall to try dead space 3 fully. Especially with your friend.
Rainbow Six Patriots will always be a Sad Missed Opportunity in gaming.
A chance to actually make a player Uncomfortable similar to the great Spec Ops the Line Game.
