Good to know Brake cleaner can be used I assume the flammable one is correct. As I am at a loss on this van where had no vacuum leaks before replacing injectors. Now I got a rough high idle condition now. And don't want to drive it as to me it's lean like you said it will run too hot.
If you’re looking for a vacuum leak it normally sucks it internally into the engine using water and soap won’t help you. It’s not gonna blow a bubble for you however, using some thing like brake cleaner that’s flammable will raise the RPM when it burns and it’ll indicate where it’s leaking.
Well, unlike brake fluid or other liquid fuels, if instead, you choose to use propane, you can avoid the high risk of starting a fire that can continue to combust for long periods. Bad JuJube. It helps, to avoid accidental burning up of engine wiring harnesses. Just sayin.
I used brake cleaner not brake fluid, brake cleaner does not hurt or damage wiring harnesses or anything on the engine. Yes you can use propane but I don't have it readily available, plus I don't want to run the car for long periods I'm just looking to see where its leaking from.
Getting ready to try this method, thank you
You’re very welcome. Hopefully you find your issue using this method.

Problem solved. One of the hoses got loose on the plenum just enough to break vacuum but not to notice visually.
I know nothing about mechanics but would nonflammable brake cleaner safer. Thanks and God Bles.
If it can’t ignite it won’t burn as fuel to increase the rpm’s
So I used this method and instead of it raising my rpm’s it actually bogged down my car. What does that mean?
You have a vacuum leak or massive air leak. If it bogged down you may wanna try spraying it just a certain areas to try to pinpoint where it is.
thanks. much appreciated! great vid 👍
Glad it was helpful!
Why not water and soap?

Don't you mean Brake Cleaner?
