im learning alot, thankyou, im hoping to get a laser in nov., question, does this laser have a off line control so i dont have to keep the pc hook to it?
Yes it does have offline control. There’s a slot to put a SD (or MicroSD?) card on the top left. Then you can use the control pad to select the design. Export as GCode from Lightburn to the card and you’re good to go! I have to do this if I’m running multiple lasers as Lightburn can only talk to one at a time.
OH lol! No no, I had the garage door open AND a fan going from just behind me! That's our second garage that we converted into a workshop. I thought I mentioned that in the video. Apologies for the confusion.
That would be a great addition to display business cards for a craft show etc. A perfect design for you!
Have you figured out how to get the origin light to show when laser is hooked up to Lightburn?
Ugh, no :( I just marked the laser head cover with the center points for the actual laser nozzle to help guide material placement.
I am wondering if you’ve set up the rotary for your Burnlab a20 pro. Having a heck of a time getting consistent burns. Please help.
I have not :( I'm so sorry. They didn't provide me with the rotary.
Nice! How many lasers (and what kinds) do you have now?
I have 5 diode lasers, 1 fiber laser, and 2 CO2 lasers!

And no exhaust fan to the outside? Must be smelling nice in that "room" after burning , wear at least a good mask 🙄🙄🤦♂🤦♂🤦♂🤦♂
