Only complaint I have with the update is the profile stuff honestly. I was excited to be able to see nukes etc. But now it looks even more barren like where are my vehicles? That was always nice checking someone's profile to see if they're grinding a new tree or how much they've played. Hope this stuff gets added since the medal stuff and the camo stuff is nice.
Yea I agree Gaijin said it was a stepping stone but why not wait till the profile system was completed. Feels very much like the stat card images where they changed it for no reason right now.

Yea I gave it a couple of games to see if it was just shaders loading etc but I noticed the same thing FPS was worse but the stuttering was the killer for it.
@DawgIVLife yeah i understand you but it does make a huge difference when i ran taa+ ssaa the game looked good at both close and far ranges. Now with taa or dlss native in close ranges looks blurry and further out its unplayable this at 1440p with previously mentioned settings enable i ran at a stable 100 fps with maxed settings, using a 4070, thats how good optimization was. But thank you for your suggestion. Keep it up!

Try turning off TAA. Its one of the worst anti aliasing methods and it absolutely destroys image detail, especially while moving. It basically does to your vision what people think motion blur does. Honestly even FXAA is better if you need to retain details and make out small distant objectes. Stuff like planes and bushed up tanks get completely washed into the background with TAA And if you're wondering, its like this because it uses a past frame as a sample to smooth out edges, but that has the downside of completely annihilating details the moment the camera starts moving
It's interesting to hear the other side of the bug debate. I'm usually in your boots but surprisingly I'm in the other pair of shoes. Personally the stuttering stopped after it loaded in the proper asset on DX12 and the ray-tracing is amazing for performance. Image sharpening also makes the game look good without much performance impacted which I'm a huge fan of since it looks better than their overly sized high-res packs. I've only had one game crash and it was a fatal error exception with a code I didn't look up since I just wanted to keep playing. Hasn't happened since and it's been pretty fun. I'm a huge fan of the update in every way, hopefully you don't have any more of these bugs!
I had the Fake Nuke siren, i was 2 kills off a nuke herd the nuke alarm panicked jumped into a fighter then saw that no one was close to a nuke besides myself
The first time I heard the fake nuke I J'd out of my tank while I was top of the team and was 500sp away from a nuke. After I confirmed that there was in fact no nuke I ended up getting swarmed by enemy fighters. Heard it a few more times throughout the match and just decided to ignore it, ended up getting nuked.
Only complaint i have playing war thunder after the update is being unable to turn off motion blur when im in sim, I wish they added more graphics options for all console versions of the game. Sim is just unplayable if your in a fully enclosed cockpit as it justs messes with peoples eyes.
Top tier air sucks now because the new F15 is just so much better than everything else. I have Israel top tier so I could get it but I think I’m going to wait to play it until after it gets nerfed.

I have fallen through the ground trying to land on the airfield, I usually get 200+ fps in this game but currently the game is just loosing frames. Haven't got to use the RT cause lol AMD. The game is looking nice and I am happy with the swap to Dx12 so the game isn't locked on cores anymore. But I hope they smooth these issues out in the next few days cause this game has no business lagging.
I think players are getting enough points for the nuke and it is sounding before they hit the button and select it (the plane). So even if they jump into another tank/vehicle the nuke siren goes off.
DX12 has caused all of my graphical and crashing issues. Turning it off has the game running it at 240 fps. Also for not being able to kill your teammate, that was a test or bug they had where they turned off friendly fire for about 2 hours. It has changed, so please do not kill your teammates, they will ban you
I think theres a bug going around where if you try to drop napalm past mach1, it adds this mach1 speed limit to your missiles and countermeasures as well. Happened to me on the Mig23, couldnt use flares/chaff or fire my missiles off when flying past mach 1
Yeah if you like your frame rate being cut in half... The haystacks on the Japan map now sets off APHE rounds. Like stops them dead. How do you break that?
The stuttering is suppost to be from Dx12 shader caching. I ran the game in DX12 for testing and it stuttered. Turned it back to DX11 (since I see not visual difference anyway) and it was fine.
I have no idea what you’re talking about with those performance numbers, 5950X and a 7900XTX, not only am I running a locked 144fps on ultrawide 1440p, but I’m only seeing like 60-75% GPU usage with literally every setting on max including RT. Your stuttering may be a vram limitation, it depends on which match mode you’re in but I saw it pretty consistently at or over 12G usage.
Ammo boxes are also broken, didn't replenish my ammo on my spaa and when i was mounting/crafting one it didn't let me spawn in a plane (arcade). Optimization is very bad, with a i7 11700 and rx 6800 im getting as low as 80 fps the stutters are crazy, graphics are on low and dx11
Is it just me or the game looks unfocused/blurry far away, like I'm trying to spot a tank a good distance away but it's too pixilated for me to recognize it as a tank. I turned motion blur to lowest, turn off cancel motion blur camera thing (maybe this is broken), AA off, turned on SSAA to 4x (also tried turning it off, looks worse without it).
nah its not over rated, its not for everyone and that's okay, some people prefer playing 200+ fps. but I'm very happy with my 90 and its looking beautiful. I'm not sitting here saying fps is over rated.
I agree it's mostly a meh update, and the profile system is terrible, no ribbons right there up front and it's like a bad mobile game UI. I only play mod tier stuff and at least the T77E1 is a welcome addition to my US lineups, the Skink is still terrible. Still waiting on the whole WWII US Self Propelled Artillery Line, which we will see at the heat death of the universe.
With the stuttering yea, but also unplayable is different for everyone at least for me 155 is my monitors refresh rate so I want to keep it above that, I understand the pain though I started out with warthunder with a 2008 laptop in 2013 and slowly been upgrading since then.
How is 40fps unplayable? I play on 30-40 and it’s amazing like the average human eye can see between 30-60 refreshes per second so anything higher than 60 fps would not even make a difference
You should try it out eventually, playing at 165fps is pure buttery smoothness. I completely detest going to 60 fps and below it isn’t the same once you experience 60 fps plus.
I would highly recommend watching a video on refresh rates for monitors and comparing them, Higher FPS improves a ton of things like response time motion blur etc.
Another big game breaking day 1 bug is far as I've experience, I don't know other game modes but in Air Arcade on certain ground strike maps you can only spawn in bombers. If you don't have any bombers you are unable to join the battle and forced to deal with a 9 minute crew lock. Very infuriating if you running a booster.

The vehicles, medals and other stuff are in the top left, they haven't been removed.

I play on 1440p and i used taa+ssaa 4x all the time they remove this option now the game looks blurry and just plain bad.
At least for me TAA on Native seems to not be blurry at 1440p. I never ran SSAA because of the performance hit for little gain.

I was playing around 10pm central time last night and I heard the nuke siren in two separate games and I had no idea it was bugged
I'm still downloading it, thanks to my siblings it was stopped halfway so it takes 24 hours instead of 10

I had some weird things with rangefinder, sometimes it would not zero lower than 36m lol
Which vehicle cause I got the HSVL to go down to 5m on the rangefinder but under 100m its really not needed.

I have a "problem" with the Luchs. it has basicly no accelerations and no torque when starting to move. wich shouldnt happen with 19 HP/ton

No ray tracing on ps5(I know that’s a me problem), and almost all top tier additions yet again, so I say not really.
