It didn't seem much like a Civil War, it seemed more like a Civil Scuffle. There was barely any sides and it was mostly just Iron Man and Carol having a really violent argument that everyone got wrapped up in
I agree. Based on this story I have no idea why anyone would be excited about a Captain Marvel Movie, especially when the real Captain Marvel is called Shazam!
Because she's a strong woman yada yada yada, the quality of the story isn't the critical part anymore. It needs to pander to a certain degree to be acceptable. THEN the story matters. And the directors already stated she's going to be the strongest hero in the MCU yet, above Thor and Hulk. So some new kid is going to come in for Avengers 4, stronger than all of the characters we actually give a shit about, and she'll probably be the one to take out Thanos the way things seem. R.I.P. storytelling and quality writing.
So...Carol gets Bruce killed, kills Tony, gets away consequences free, and dares to start thinking about the future and having ideas?! Okay. That is messed up, and as is this storyline.
Civil War III synopsis: The Avengers & Inhumans think worldwide acceptance of blue cheese dressing will make the world a better place. The X-Men & Utlimates believe that ranch is the superior condiment and are willing to take any measure to prove it. Which side are you on?
Ariel Fetters one of my former lovers always referred to thousand island as the Mountain Dew of dressings. Which confused me since I think Mountain Dew is fucking great.
I'm surprised Tony didn't say "what if following following up on the premonition creates it in the first place" Also don't like the whole Carol locking people up willie nillie. It's one thing to do that "if there's a 10% chance a person with a weapon will use it so I will confront the person" to straight up locking up a person that hasn't done anything.
I thought by the end of the first civil war Cap deciding to fight in the city and destroying it kinda made his argument lose weight. Until that point he was right. I feel Tony was also not and other characters were not written in the best way possible.
tevya yes monsters unleashed is well going to be a pointless event but at least marvel is learning to lay it easy with the forced tie ins(point being, the .1's issues that really just count as extra credit for series if you do or do not want to read them)Secret Empire though will not be a pointless event but rather, will possibly be one of the most important moments in captain Americas history given what its based on(The first secret empire being back in the 60s with cap giving up the shield out of disgust for what the government has become) and how it will be a reflection of American society today (as a die hard captain America fan, ill probably be shedding a tear if the event ends the way I think its going to end)
***** id sure hope so but personally in my opinion i feel that we need break from all of these pointless crossover events and just tell good stories in my opinion
Tevya Smolka true yes but I think this is just going to be exclusively focused on the cap zone (Steve Rogers, Sam wilson, and hunderbolts) much like daredevils and thors events are going which works cause each of the 3 writers(sam wilsons, cap, and thunderbolt) commented writing their respective series exclusively with the hydra cap and his end game event in mind so we won't have a bendis situation where continuity will be disregarded and that at least, for the most part, there was a build up (I mean, everybodies been waiting for cap to be back since he became an old man back in what 2013, so still of this event brings cap back to normal, that would mean something although I'd imagine he'd have pad for all the stuff he did as hydra)
I haven't watched every single video by this channel so please forgive my ignorance but is the narrator for this channel Canadian? Just the way he says "sorry" sounds Canadian to me.
I am about to read Immortal Hulk and this comic is kinda the prequel where he dies and what opens the plot. With that said thanks for your summary and I really agree with you, good idea but a weird execution that just drove on shock value and unnecessary high stakes.
I enjoyed it though it did have flaws. I feel this story would have played out better if it was not a hyped event book and not title Civil War 2 since it was just Tony and Carol fighting...mostly. It would have been nice to see the legal side of a regular person being arrested and put on trial. They could have had them go to jail but later on found to be innocent but turn bad or they are found innocent then later on are discovered to be a villain and the person who got them off, (Matt Murdock), has to live with that. Tony came off worse than Carol to me. He was emotional and irrational. He broke into the Inhumans home, kidnapped Ulysses, was willing to torture him to some extent, assaulted him, broke a federal prisoner out of a SHIELD facility, attacked Carol and SHIELD...this scene should have played out like this: Kirk teleports the woman out. Carol goes outside to see an aircraft flying away with the woman. Tony zaps Carol incapacitating her long enough so they can escape...it seemed like Bendis forgot the "war" part and just threw in a two team battle...Tony then attacked Carol on the capital steps with civilians in the area, with Cap right next to her when all she was doing was talking to Miles. Carol had a few slippery slope moments but to me, Tony was the one out of line. Carol was proven right more often than wrong. Beast even stated that she did save lives and that Tony trusted her...which was odd since he did nothing but blame her and claim she had a hit list out on people... And as far as making way for Riri...they could have has it so Tony was deemed to emotionally unstable to have a weapon of mass destruction so its taken from him...oh who am I kidding his ego wouldn't allow that. Overall it was a good concept that was not executed to its potential, story was decent but the art was top notch.
After seeing Avengers Endgame, I wonder how possible it would be to do a loose MCU adaptation of Civil War 2 a decade from now. Perhaps bringing in a Tony Stark from an alternate timeline as an antagonist to try and prevent Rhodes's death? Captain Marvel: Civil War 2?
This story when I read the comic is way to hard to read and dose not show it I order of what happens Dose anyone agree or is it just like this on kindle
hey guys, if you know any artists, graphics experts, or students, I am looking for them to help me introduce my new universe of heroes and villains??? I guarantee that my characters and storylines will put Marvel on the backburner!!!
I was looking at the underline story behind it. most writers are just like us. Sometimes they write stories that follow the rules of comics. And sometimes they write what the country is feeling. remember when comics started?. differences, unity, change, judgemental, lies, facts, truth... life. Life keeps you looking for the truth so you don't have to accept what they are feeding. Stark and Marvel, sought it to the end. While forgetting or refusing to listen to very people they were trying to protect; making the boundaries of negotiations even further to see. They have to be a civil war three. To bring understanding and compromise... or not. I just want to see the story and similarity continue.
Why do always the worst events fall on Arden's shoulders? He always delivers the best reviews (personal bias) but it's not fair for his mind to get fried by the toxic stories Bendis writes. Bendis and the departing Ike are the monsters who have set their minds on destroying Marvel since 2005. Now the poor US veterans are going to suffer, thanks a great deal Trump.
I don't know what the fuck Bendis was thinking when writing shit for a story. Gotta lay off the drugs, man... (JK) I bet the movie release had them rushing to get this out.
Really hated this storyline. It was poorly written and just another money grab. I used to like Ms. Marvel after this haven't read a single thing with her in it. Just another overpowered Marvel character. I believe they are trying to hard to conform to some PC version. Completely changing characters, totally trashing the history they made. Just..ugh.
i like the first Civil war better than this one. hell DC's injustice is better than this series. and how the hell is captain america here didn't he die after the first Civil war?
obviously one must suspend a bit of beliefs when reading comics but c'mon now, a woman beating up a man? I just can't get past this one. I give this story 4.5 out of 5 rainbow flags
i agree with your assessment it sucks after 30 years of collecting comics I'm done with marvel haven't read a title since secret wars disney sucks and dc comics is kicking there ass in sales i hope marvel goes out of buissness
Also you know what's even worst is that this entire event was just a cash grab for the movie that's about it also peter parker aka spider-man entire tie-in was completely and utterly pointless
Arden D. yep indeed also here's a dumb question if peter at the end of that stupid tie-in joined carol side then why the hell didn't join in the fight when carol needed back up i don't get it
It's a huge wasted opportunity. it was a rare moment where the two spider-men could have been at odds with each other, and they never really even interact the entire event. I don't get it. Miles is going through this huge, public thing, and Peter is nowhere to be found.
Arden D. i agree with that one hundred percent also another problem with this stupid event no mary jane or peter interaction whats so ever another miss opportunity i also didn't understand why didn't peter help out his protege from carol wrath its so stupid and garbage
Goddamn, Carol is just going full stop-and-frisk on people based on predictions. Is she supposed to be this unlikable in the comics, or was this entire arc just bad writing?
Another trash story line. Maybe it would have been better if one of the sides wasn't headed by Carol Danvers. Like seriously who cares about Danvers? Irrelevant. At least Stark was mostly right this time.
Guys do you know why there is now so many girls superhero ? 1.-When Obama was President , there were more black super dudes 2.-When Hillary was to become President, now were are having superhero girls But the stories from marvel are crap ! peace
I got tired of Marvel and Secret Wars was not as good as I thought it would be. There are just to many shit stories out there. So I left Marvel and Went over DC, since they do better stories. I just left the sinking ship that Marvel is!
obviously one must suspend a bit of beliefs when reading comics but c'mon now, a woman beating up a man? I just can't get past this one. I give this story 4.5 out of 5 rainbow flags
This saga was a travesty, really, it says something when Miles Morales, a teenager, acts more mature than all the adults combined
Ya, but the end result was a Trojan Horse Steve Rodgers, which was pretty cool... His speech to a unconscious Stark was epic.
It didn't seem much like a Civil War, it seemed more like a Civil Scuffle. There was barely any sides and it was mostly just Iron Man and Carol having a really violent argument that everyone got wrapped up in
Okay, can someone give me a rational argument as to why I shouldn't just flat-out hate Carol at this point?
contown731 well, if you look closely at her at 1:29 you can notice she has a damn fine ass
R.I.P. storytelling and quality writing.
contown731 dont forget feige also said she'll be the face and leader of the MCU.
Do they not realize sales aren't going to lean in their favor? And wow, not sure if he's pandering or a fucking idiot that wants sales to crash.
18:45 probably for the best that blackbolt didn't have anything to say 😂
Haha cant believe this doesn't have morr likes 😂
wait why does Carol get away with killing Tony Stark and not arrested and put on trial ????
a perfectly fair qeustion
Government might have coverd it
Heroes don't kill but Carol broke the code.
she didn't kill Tony put him into a coma
So...Carol gets Bruce killed, kills Tony, gets away consequences free, and dares to start thinking about the future and having ideas?! Okay. That is messed up, and as is this storyline.
A great superhero name for you code freak boy, is……, “Masterbating Man.”
Civil War III synopsis:
The Avengers & Inhumans think worldwide acceptance of blue cheese dressing will make the world a better place.
The X-Men & Utlimates believe that ranch is the superior condiment and are willing to take any measure to prove it.
Which side are you on?
lol
I pick neither, and instead retire to the thousand island. :P
Both are great but I think blue cheese would be the better choice, just for the sake of change.
Ariel Fetters one of my former lovers always referred to thousand island as the Mountain Dew of dressings. Which confused me since I think Mountain Dew is fucking great.
Brian Green ranch definitely taste better, X-men,anti inhumans count me in
I'm surprised Tony didn't say "what if following following up on the premonition creates it in the first place"
Also don't like the whole Carol locking people up willie nillie. It's one thing to do that "if there's a 10% chance a person with a weapon will use it so I will confront the person" to straight up locking up a person that hasn't done anything.
I CAN UNDERSTAND HOW TONY FEELS, "ROADIE" IS LIKE TONY'S LITTLE BROTHER, I'D FEEL PISSED, TOO...
Sure let's attack a nation then
Thx you for making these fellas!
I thought by the end of the first civil war Cap deciding to fight in the city and destroying it kinda made his argument lose weight. Until that point he was right. I feel Tony was also not and other characters were not written in the best way possible.
The inhuman who saw visions just suddenly "Being part of something bigger" and disappears was......just weird.
Horrible ending
@ComicsIsland - Seriously, kid, you tell a better illustrated story than Marvel did. That is called a miracle synopsis.
Thank your for this, my local comic book store closed and didn't know how it ends.
Why not order from Amazon?
I definitely always approve of the choice to use some throwback Chrono Trigger music
The original Civil War was much more fleshed out and much more significant. I prefer Captain America stand as he was right.
who is that hero that looks like iron man at 25:13, the grey iron man suit
Excellent video!
Great video guys
Amazing work, I really felt like watching a movie
good video terrible event. At least marvel admits it is shameless cash grab
OMG I THINK THEY ARE SETTING UP PHASE 4 AND 5 FOR THISSS
That'd be interesting
love these so much ty ty ty!
just found these vids and been binging like crazy this shit is mad good
I have to agree this story was pretty disappointing. I'm glad I didn't go out and buy the series like I was planning on to.
I tried reading this story, but it threw me off especially with the stupid tie ins and crossovers and I'm like "Moving on."
As usual great great stuff from you guys
What's next? Another Skrull invasion?
nope instead we are getting another pointless event called Secret empire and Monsters unleashed
tevya yes monsters unleashed is well going to be a pointless event but at least marvel is learning to lay it easy with the forced tie ins(point being, the .1's issues that really just count as extra credit for series if you do or do not want to read them)Secret Empire though will not be a pointless event but rather, will possibly be one of the most important moments in captain Americas history given what its based on(The first secret empire being back in the 60s with cap giving up the shield out of disgust for what the government has become) and how it will be a reflection of American society today (as a die hard captain America fan, ill probably be shedding a tear if the event ends the way I think its going to end)

CryptidZeker415 true yes but personally I want no More crossover events for awhile can we please take a break from crossovers please
I don't understand most of the charecters, what comics should I read to catch up?
Matthew Greenbaum most of these events don’t need any research, a lot of the characters act out of character to fit the plot
I haven't watched every single video by this channel so please forgive my ignorance but is the narrator for this channel Canadian? Just the way he says "sorry" sounds Canadian to me.

17:21 😂
Probably. It's a huge roster.
Okay the way Ulysses left that situation was dumb.
Ulysses: *sees big future* lol bye fam
Thanks for the upload! Loved the artwork, but the story.... "sigh"
thank you for the summary.
Carol gets away with murder and with no consequences whatsoever….sounds about right.
I don't understand. why was Tony against the inhuman who sees visions of the future?
he has no problem with the kid, it's how the powers were being used by others
@@ComicIsland ohhh ok thank youu
İs there Ghost Rider?
Ulysses looks like a bearded Peter Parker
Now that I see the event in full it actually was not as bad as everyone says!
i like tony talks to himself like peter usually does
Wait so Tony died!? I’m going to cry myself to sleep today ;( 😭
Yeah this entire event was completely and utterly pointless
Is carol bad?
Preemptive justice in the age of AI.
Talking. Point. Number. 16.
Keep up. We've got work to do.
This is all on record btw.
I enjoyed it though it did have flaws. I feel this story would have played out better if it was not a hyped event book and not title Civil War 2 since it was just Tony and Carol fighting...mostly.

Whats after this
Riri Williams was in this fight?
Did Tony died?
No, he was in coma
what the heck, they should all be older than Logan
Cmon at least let iron man win 1 war lol
Can anyone say Minority Report with the Marvel Universe? I kind of enjoyed it though. I do not know I am weird I also liked Batman v Superman.
What the good FUCK was that?!
this event and all its connections sucks
You forgot two issues.
hey guys, if you know any artists, graphics experts, or students, I am looking for them to help me introduce my new universe of heroes and villains???
I guarantee that my characters and storylines will put Marvel on the backburner!!!
I hate female Captain Marvel. Wow, I need to vent.
hyy guys where is civil war 2 part 5 in Hindi
Bendis at his worst :P
Caption marvel , 18 can kill her one shot.
Great video... Thanks.
On a side note... Am I the only one who hates how marvel is treating the xmen?

Did iron man die?
No
He is kindA gone but not REALLY gone.
@Comicisland. Karnak doesn't have powers. He never got touch by the teragin most. He power is more of a skill gained through meditation.

clifton moore this isnt set right after. Many more comics were released inbetween
clifton moore first of all injustice is better than civil war and civil war 2
obviously one must suspend a bit of beliefs when reading comics but c'mon now, a woman beating up a man? I just can't get past this one. I give this story 4.5 out of 5 rainbow flags
👍
is Tony Stark dead?
Alphonso Frett no, just in comma.
He got stuck in punctuation?
i hope that does not become a movie!!
Sup
i agree with your assessment it sucks after 30 years of collecting comics I'm done with marvel haven't read a title since secret wars disney sucks and dc comics is kicking there ass in sales i hope marvel goes out of buissness

Goddamn, Carol is just going full stop-and-frisk on people based on predictions. Is she supposed to be this unlikable in the comics, or was this entire arc just bad writing?
Bad writing just like the first one.
3rd.
Civil War one was much better
Yeah, too bad it leads to spidey's downfall
Boring. The first one was better.
Another trash story line. Maybe it would have been better if one of the sides wasn't headed by Carol Danvers. Like seriously who cares about Danvers? Irrelevant. At least Stark was mostly right this time.
Stark cares about her
This was the comic book version of Minority Report...only worse
Guys do you know why there is now so many girls superhero ?

thank you for an entertsining telling,...what a shitty story though

Thank you 😂

movienaut this is why I only read spiderman and x-men, I don't read this kind of stuff they write
this even was complete trash
that's why MANGA > COMICS
Manga is fanservice and power ups now
obviously one must suspend a bit of beliefs when reading comics but c'mon now, a woman beating up a man? I just can't get past this one. I give this story 4.5 out of 5 rainbow flags
