you can loop out the coolant lines from the TB.. all they do is SUPER-heat the TB and keep it hot which isn't good for power. unless you live in subzero weather, you're fine. i been running without the TB coolant lines up here in the northeast for years and never had an issue!
Just got mine put in yesterday! Worth it. If you are looking to get one here are my results. All I have is intake and muffler deletes. Instead of the power gradually kicking in and being strongest from 5000-7000 rpm, the torque is shifted to what feels like it’s strongest from 4000-5500. Power does sharply drop off at 6500 now. The car accelerates faster and if you are ok with less power around redline then do it.

I knew you’ll love it! Only thing I didn’t like about the kit was the thermal gaskets. Mines were terribly cut, but I think they got way better with quality nowadays. Congratulations on being FBO btw 🙌. I finally received and installed my RV6 V2 long tube race J pipe yesterday.

I mean, but how negligible is it really? I’ve gone as far as topping out the speedo in my tuned 9G AV6 6MT, and unless you’re doing higher speed roll racing and actually going past 120-140+ and wanting to pull that hard until eternity, then I guess it would matter. Other than that….
Nice man, but remember J series shine at top end speed. In my opinion I would focus more on mod that increase high end torque even though low end torque is nice for dig race.
Yo I got you on the mount homie I use a vent mount for SVT for fords it fits our bracket! It's so sick and out of the window view. Also you should take your intake mani and drivel out all he die cast marks. An 80mm throttlebody port matched and you'll be ready for that s/c dude. All these mods you definitely need to get a dyno tune asap. Running lean on deceleration or anywhere on the power band can cause damage you don't want.

Do you happen to know what the hose is on the top right of the manifold/plenum? To the left of the throttle body? I did a j37 intake manifold swap but need some hardware to get that bracket that holds the hose in properly

Spacers is definitely worth it’ll move your power band to low to mid power. Vtec is satisfying to hear when you have your intake and exhaust done 🔥

It’s in due to PCD but it eventually goes away

That engine is different, but pretty much you can do the same FBO and go for a 3.7L intake manifold and throttle body swap.
