I was living and working in the Old Dart during 1975 & 1976, whilst this was running on the box, Thames TV, brings back memories. I never saw it. Brings back memories.
Frances White is a Leeds Loiner and shows no traces of a Leeds accent. Completely RP accent. Funnily enough I'm reminded of the Jackson Browne track "The Times We've Come" from his 1973 album "For Everyman" where he sings "and now we're lying here, so safe in the ruins of our pleasure" after the post coital cigarette !
I get that urge when re-watching my favorite TV show, Mad Men. Thank God alcohol never played a problem in my life... would rule out watching a great series like that for sure. Remember that its really not that long ago that doctors advertised their favorite brand of cigarettes ;)
Thank you so much for this wonderful second part! ❤
You are very welcome!

One minute she’s upstairs threatening to put a baby in care, next minute she’s in her underwear with the ex boss crying on the bed 😂

Many of us don't speak with the accent from where we were born & raised.
