This guy’s honestly my favourite fossilizer. It’s look in robot mode is right up my alley, and pterodactyls are my favourite “dinosaurs”
I do like this thing, but he would e the second best one in my book.

And three of each makes some amazing combinations.
The fossilizers are next to god tier perfection for what they can do in multiples.
Yeah that has rogue one is really bad, but it is the official one.
I can spend a million years going over all the fan-made ones that are infinitely better, but I just don't have the time for that.
I like Wingfinger. He is good and weird. The combine mode? Lets don't talk about it. Great review.

Wingfinger and Paleotrex both go really hard on the thighs. They’re giving Thrilling 30 Arcee a run for her money in the thigh department. No clue why Hasbro decided the skeleton gang needed to be thicc.
Side note. Wingfinger sounds dumb, I’d like to propose a new name for them. I’m thinking Digisoar since digit is a word for finger, soar and wing both imply flight, and Digisoar sounds a little bit like dinosaur which is what they are. All and all I think that captures the essence of the character better.
Someone suggested the name to me Night Pterror. Which I thought was pretty good.
I’m pretty interested in this figure so I may pick it up.
Also, in my opinion, kingdom felt like a kick in the balls followed by an advertisement for haslab unicron
I'm only two episodes deep, and I have to say it's ALL over the place.
Kingdom...wasn’t bad. Watched it last night, expecting to have a good, derisive laugh. But no, it was actually decent. I’m still flabbergasted.
Yeah the worst parts of the series were the voice acting as well as Tigatron's and Cheetor's awful looking mouths

To talk about the 'combiner' for a second, i like to think of it as the Fossilizers being sick of being used as weapons, so they team up to kill the Autobots, Decepticons, Maximals and Predicons.
Then get demolished by all four factions because they are literally bones slammed together XD

God the second wing finger was in my hands I was like.... that's it but after an hour he became one of my favorites and I don't know why!!!!
He makes a bad first impression but the more you handled it the more it succeeds.
I really like this thing. She has weird arm posability, yet it still somehow poses great there. The combination of joints even kinda lets you get butterflies. She looks like a pool noodle too, yet I still love her. Plus the dino mode is really fun.
What makes you say this is a she? And yes the figure is quite good.

@@PerspectiveEnd he probably didn't give up on being a predacon though there was no way he was ever going to join Megatron ever again so he disguised himself as a fossilizer and gave himself a maximal symbol and joined with the maximals just to be on the winning team but that didn't last they found out his secret and blew him to bits

First time i saw this guy, I thought that maximal symbol was an eye decal on his mask, and the hidden away eye area was a mouth. That sounds way better to me than the face we have here

Personally, I find your observations about the Fossilizers much more entertaining than the Fossilizers themselves. I don't transform mine after the first time I just wanted some toy dinosaur skeletons. :P I totally agree that the "combined" mode is just a fanmode that Hasbro is trying to use to up the selling points. What you think the designers were (or were not, sad to say) thinking when they designed a figure. It's a lot about your delivery as well, the candor and sarcasm mixed. You take the subject matter seriously but you also remember that in the end we are talking about a toy. I like that style. I realize that doing these videos is a lot of work, but you also seem to be enjoying what you are doing and that comes across to me.
I reeeeally like how his wrists work and wish they did that with sideswipe. A ton of the cyberverse deluxes use that wrist transformation aswell and honestly a ton of figures in WFC/SS86 could’ve had wrist rotation had they did that which bothers me to no end.

I think that one of the Fossilisers should be a Stegosaurus. He has plate armor, a tail whip with spikes at the end, capable of basically one hitting anything that dared to lay a finger on him. He's a perfect example of a Fossiliser: skeleton mode, robot mode, weapons. They should also make more carnivores. Generally any dinosaur with an aggressive look.
Yeah they needed to do one of those.

I personally think that hasbro should continue with both fossilizers and weaponizers in the next line if the rumors we heard are true. (also modulators)
Also the combination can be given a tail with ractonites hip and tail tip as well as the the larger part of paleotrex ,ive found it can sorta help with stability.
The problem is the legs are Just useless. I don't know how I'm supposed to get him to stand with these things.

I was really excited for mr. Birth Defect since the pterodactyl is my favorite dino and on its own the robot mode did look like one of those weird fake nut colored found footage aliens but man, does he look sick when he's in a cool pose. I want all the fossilizers honestly, not for the official combiner, that's garbo, but it'd be so cool to make some weirdass bionicle abominations with them. Hell get the weaponizers involved to make cyborg fossils.

@@PerspectiveEnd They do in my book, and plus, Tricranius looks really cool, but it sucks he's a Hasbro Pulse exclusive.
I did find a way to use the parts for Wingfinger for a pleasing aesthetic by attaching them onto Slammer's tank mode, though they function less like armor and more like spot welded beams. Granted the swords do make for nice tusks, but even when the official armor set up lacks luster I can understand why the figure is a mixed bag for you.
Also, I think that if the designers used the T-Rex feet, the combination could have more stability, but that's just me.
I don't know the Trex feet don't exactly have the best Tolerances for me.
Also do you have pictures of your slammer with Wingfinger combo? I don't know what you mean by putting beams on him.

I pre-ordered Transmutate a long time ago, and they are on shelves now, and I still don't have mine.

The funny thing is that while I don't think the guy doing dinobot is doing a good dinobot, he's doing a fine job at acting, everyone else though makes my skin crawl.

I got a second one of these a while back due to clearance, and it turns out the early legs were misassembled in early releases so the knee didn't properly work like you pointed out here, and ngl, I prefer the misassembled version

Kingdom was actually good, Dinobot was executed really well, and the story was really tight, also the head for Wingfinger looks really cool, kinda like Scorn's head from Transformers 4, which I think the design for him was pretty cool

Yeah, he is absolutely a stick figure.
I would call it a quetzalcoatlus due to it being bigger than the other Fossilizers
Also, his head works as the tail since Terasaurs have small tails.
It's not bigger than the other Fossilizers, it's about as big, maybe a LITTLE smaller but not bigger.

@@PerspectiveEnd The scenario is while the Dinobots have to go to Cybertron Dinobot Island is left unguarded. Some evil scientists or organization wants the Dinosaurs on that island destroyed so they can collect the rare fossils afterwards to make money. Some dinosaurs on there are new and never discovered.Wheeljack notices the potchers coming to the Island there are no Dinobots and he dose not like harming humans so he plans on making a safety dinobot team whenever the Dinobots are not around the fossilizers. The potchers will try to collect these fossils only to fall into the trap these are not bones at all they are robotic dino exoskeletons ready to protect the wildlife from harm. Unlike there Dinobot counterparts the fossilizers are more intelligent and very sneaky individuals .
Super unrelated to the review but I’ve got to complain about this. I bought Azalea Protoform, the MMC toy based off of Arcee’s concept art, and it broke on first transformation. When I tried to get the wheels out of her legs one of the tires just cracked and fell off. Now I have a $100+ figure with no resale value because she’s damaged and I’ve got to hunt down a good glue to stick the tire back on.
I'm so sorry to hear that. That's shocking to me, everyone else has told me that that is by far the best build and most durable MP type Arcee out there. I don't know if that's just bad luck for you, or a DAMNING statement of the quality of MP Arcees.
This thing is so weird and I want one immensely, ngl. Currently holding on to hope I'm going to see it in the wild sometime soon, but I have a feeling I might have to go online for it sometime soon. 😅

@@PerspectiveEnd oooh, I actually got ahold of Origin Bee in stores not too long ago, and I really like him! Been forever since I bought a Bumblebee and he's a huge breath of fresh air. Smol, but very enjoyable and surprisingly solid. Really hope we get a Generations Selects Glyph with that mold, though I'm not holding my breath, lol

I think I once said Cyberverse Deluxe Soundwave was my biggest "IT'S WEIRD" figure in my collection. A good figure, but weird.

I personally really enjoyed the kingdom show. (to me) the story was fun and entertaining. And after a while you got used to the characters voices. I'm excited to see what you have to say about the show even if it's positive or negative. Keep up the great work!
I doubt I will come away so positive. I've only gotten through the first two Episodes so far, and the nicest thing I have to say about it is that in the first two Episodes it's not AS bad as season 2.

It can turn into a double crossbow for hot rod akin to his animated iteration, and its dino mode is meant to be female, given the smaller back ridge on the skull via the pteradon’s sexual dimorphism
I don't think we can argue that it's supposed to be a female based on that as 1, I doubt the creators know that, and 2 it's as big as it can be and fit in Ractonites mouth.

My biggest problem with Wingfinger is for some reason they made him a maximals when the rest of the skeletons bots are predacons other than I’m really excited to add him Kingdom shelf when I can find him and the rest of wave three

@@PerspectiveEnd I have few ideas it could involve potchers trying to kill rare dinosaurs for there bones to make money after they find Dino Island. Let's say they are very into finding rare fossils.....I'm sure Wheeljack will keep this in mind.

I think you are going to need to be more specific.
Fossilizers have such a unique trait in that: neutral stances cause the figures to be a case of buyer's remorse in boring and lifeless (pun intended).
Paleotrex when posed becomes a horrific zombie.
Ractonite when posed, and the head is swapped for the arm, looks like an undead knight with a sword and shield.
Wingfinger when posed looks like NINJA personified.
But good luck trying to make the "official combiner pose well at all.

What once a dispose ability is in the top 10 of all transformers ever released, the amount of improvements to his appearance when you post and is in the highest percentages.
Like the difference between standing still imposing is so vast it's incredible.

So I got it in a previous comment I said skip but I only got it because it was 11 dollars on Amazon so yeah no it’s actually pretty cool I actually have it in a bow formation and use a blast effect as the arrow

Are you talking waves or lines, cause I'd say that there will both be a line and a wave in the good ones that suck.
@@PerspectiveEnd I'm saying that look at the prime wars trilogy: combiner wars was ok, titans return was ok, Potp was a clusterfuck except for optimus. Siege was good, eartheise sucked, kingdom is alright.
Im still getting it, even though it's always looked weird. Also you can take the blades, put them side to side to make a crossbow. The Dino head can also attach to his arm backwards as a guard
He does look cool when you pose him, it's just weird how standing there he looks so bad.
