Thanks for sharing! I'm curious if this method preserves all the details in both the shadows and bright regions, similar to what Lightroom achieves when editing photos?

@@FranzMetrixs My pleasure. As for the details, I have stress tested the dynamic range with high contrast images in both lightroom and DVR and i found that the detail does hold up in Resolve. In fact i’d say with the tools you have available in Resolve, you’re able to pull more from the image by using tools like lift/gamma/gain. but if you want a ‘slider’ that mimics the highlight and shadow slider in LR, use the same tools in the Camera Raw tab!

Hi Isaac, when I export my photos they are not exactly the same as they are in Resolve.
The exported file looks less saturated and with less contrast.
Do you any suggestion to solve this problem?
    Thanks

@@theunbreakable8173 hey man :) yes this is a common issue with Resolve on Mac. i’ve found that the best way to mitigate it is to “use mac color profiles in viewer” option in the user settings of Resolve

Great video! I just tried it out and I love the results you have any tips to increase the file size and for some reason when I transfer the photo from my computer to my iphone it doesnt look the same

@@stevenrecinos4362 hey man, glad to hear it’s working for you :) for the file size, if you’re referring to the size of your exported images, you may try exporting them as TIFF files, though the file sizes will be huge.
As for the color shift from your phone to your laptop, it’s worth noting that colors will not always be the same going from screen to screen (i have an iphone and a macbook and they still don’t look exactly the same) So as your project color spaces and export settings are set up properly, you should be set :)

@@theisaacmatthew Thxs for the reply man and I think I figured it out I just export the final image as a jpeg then put it through Luminar neo for final adjustments and export it that way too. It kills to birds with one stone!
