Today we are going to put Riker's Galaxy X Class against 4 different Enterprises.
The Enterprise D, E, F & G.
Played from both sides in Star Trek Remastered UE17.

i so wish at the end of picard season 3 we got a refitted enterprise-d in the galaxy X configuration with Riker in command, and left the Titan, the Titan. it would have worked too as it was all close in the correct time period.
Could they then have called that Galaxy Dreadnaught the Enterprise-G?
@@SeansModelBuilds I believe they could, the only thing original is the saucer and the rest would need a heavy refit. But I like this idea.
Even just a passing line where Geordi says “ she still has a lot of life left in her she could use a retrofit, maybe a 3rd nacelle” lol

The Enterprise D rebuild in Picard S3 should've been rebuilt to the Galaxy X specs. It would've been perfect. I can see it in my head, Geordi mixing Scotty's whisky with Janeway's delta quadrant coffee blend to finish an all nighter on drawing up the specifications for the Galaxy X.
That phaser lance is scary. Actually, I want to see what it is capable of, how about some Borg ships?

In theory the Riker X enterprise can still exist. Post Picard, the severe loss of experienced high ranking officers would leave vulnerability to the federation to both hostile and friendly competition, especially considering that after the Romulans fell. That causes the Klingons to become aggressive once more. So, in the years following. Admiral Riker makes the Enterprise D his flag ship with the dreadnought upgrades as one of the most senior, experienced officers in dealing with the Klingons.
Having no cloaking device means you have a shot a winning this battle.

Fun video. I remember playing ST Bridge Commander back in 2002 when it came out, and played it on and off for several years as the modding community kept the last great Star Trek game alive and well.
It is hard to believe 22 years later this game is still alive and well.
Thanks! There are so many talented people out there. I bought it back when it first came out as well. The graphics blew me away. Think I must have completed the demo about 50 times before the game was released 😂. Bridge Commander Remastered is a new edition to the modding scene, i'd highly recommend it if you haven't tried it. 🖖

I always considered that the "phaser lance" might have been something akin to the "Mars Verteron Array" or those phased ion cannons that shot at Voyager from a surface and the Federation decided to slap one of those planetary phasers on their flagship since those were the only type X+ phasers in the TNG Technical Manual and it far outclasses the type XIIs that the Sovereign supposedly sports.
Would love to see someone upgrade the Galaxy X with Galaxy Dominion War Refit weaponry.
Add in the Yesterday's Enterprise it's alt-Ent-D it's 10.000 troop compliment based upgrade as well, even if the other refits mean you only have say, 5.000
Then add a second warpcore, so one can power one nacell, for not needing a cooling stop every eight hours.
Plus ablative armor panels/plates on top of the normal hull plates, in order to bring the hull look up to DS9 & VOY modern starship hull looks.
And do the same to the Nebula, who has a better defense covering shape of the two ship classes, plus a meaner torpedo spread then a Akira, with that weapon/war pod option of it.
in hindsight I would think it would have the quantum torpedo upgrade considering the Galaxy X's part in the timeline. good video :)
What a great battle that was seeing the beast cut up other ships is great to see what a monster

The shields on the Galaxy X are crazy regenerative. The your rear shields went down at 3:10, I look away for a moment are they're back up at 90%. Holy hell.
In the 20th century there was "Pistol Pete". In the 23rd century there is "Phaser Lance." (OK, bad joke, but it's all I've got today damnit! Lol)

Also, Riker said, ''Maximum warp factor 10'' I read future, they reconfigured the engines and future photons reconfigured more powerful that quantums. hmm fascinating.. lol. love the battle Admiral.. gosh yes the weapons firing from the ships, like a mini movie!!!😊🖖

Had to look a lot longer than I expected for this comment. While the lance was down could have been spamming the pulse phasers.

But yes, the X refit has much more power and better shields than a standard Galaxy class.
I'm still not sure if that ship was real or part of Q's imagination.
However, Q did know that Picard would eventually get space dementia (ultimately as a result of the mind meld with Spock's father).

That's a good point. It could have been one of Q's created fun universes 🤣. The phaser lance is epic. I wonder if the Borg could ever adapt to it?

gosh Rikers Enterprise is a hell of a beast the federation should build those ships.
How quickly would the Scimitar fall to the Galaxy-X's Phaser Lance? Or would it?...
Also the Galaxy-X should really be outfit with Quantum torpedoes. Imagine that Phaser Lance with a full spread of 10 Quantums (As Galaxy's launchers can fire 10 torpedoes in such rapid succession that they're basically simultaneous) . That'd be SCARY!
I wonder how the Yamato-class stacks up against the Galaxy X. It's basically the same concept, but using the Andromeda-class (one of the Galaxy-class' successor designs from STO) as the base hull.
You forgot to use your pulse phasers on the Galaxy X (middle mouse button).
This particular mod didn't have any. It was from the aftermath ship pack 🖖
I play STO and I enjoy some of the different Galaxy X variants. I do like STO's Yamato class (updated Galaxy X version in that game.) I also like the Terran Sirius class.

I really like the triple nacelle Enterprise-D. Was interesting to see it. Just a little nit pick here from me for this render of that ship. The third nacelle needs to be sitting up a little higher and the deal behind the bridge needs to be A LOT lower and is actually a torpedo launcher if you look at the model they made for it and in the episode. The impulse engines on the back of the neck were Shuttlebay 2 and 3 was is not right either in terms of looks.
I said ,"Holy crap!" when the phaser lance took out the Enterprise-G that quickly and of course how fast you took out the regular Enterprise-G.
I think you should have gone after the ATG's sensors. If you had taken that out you would have been good. Although not surprised how quickly it took out the D, F and Titan/G and then eventually you lol.
The model isn't a 100%, I didn't realise there were that many differences though! However, in terms of it's weaponry it's top notch. I think this is the best version we have. It was shocking when it took out the Enterprise G. We saw what it did to those Negh'vars though. That's a good idea bout the sensors, will try that next time 🖖
Honestly, great fight. In my opinion, the galaxy X is superior to the Galaxy and sovereign, to be exact it has slightly over 3x more phaser damage output than the sovereign (the equivalent of 7 galaxy classes) but essentially equal torpedo firepower to the sovereign. The odyssey would dog walk the galaxy refit though, it’s got waaaaay too advanced systems, size, and weaponry. The enterprise G overhaul on the constitution 3, which prior to its rechristening could take hits from torpedoes equivalent to 40 isolitic bombs, 88 plasma torpedoes, 226 photons, 18 antimatter warheads, 29 pulse torpedoes, and 25 spotted beam arrays, and 4 cannons.
Would like to see a Lexington Class, Lexington X Class, and an Odyssey X class.
The Odyssey is an exploration dreadnought that is quite capable of taking a hit a swinging just as hard. The federation threw all of their most advanced technology into a massive ship that dwarfs the Sovereign in speed, power, and durability.
Though....that phase lance is really something. I wonder if the odyssey could take a hit from it. The lance wasnt an accurate weapon but the oddy is over half a mile long. Shame they did the ship dirty in the show

I just have to ask: do you purposefully avoid aiming for the senor array? It seems to me that's what you should attack on ANY ship, especially if your opponent has more powerful weaponry. Sure, you have to get through the shields, but to do any real damage you'd have to do that anyway AND take out their ability to target you.
Galaxy X is so scary that doomsday weapon 😢 if can you imagine Titanic have this kind of weapon that poor iceberg melted

This version of the Enterprise is a strange thing, the D is my favourite, but the third nacelle, and the blades that stick out of the star drive section on both sides make it look old fashioned.

I've said it before - the phaser lance is underpowered.
Yeah the lance is absurd, but the shields are even more ridiculous. Didn't take a scratch against that entire armada.
It looked like you were doing well as long as you stayed out of the path of the lance.
Timeline wise, the X would be around the F and G, an old fit refit in to a warship.

You should’ve gone for the F first. Nothing to do with it being my least favourite Enterprise (although it is by far), but tactically speaking that seems to be the big threat, once that’s gone the rest are, I’d guess, easy pickings.

I just thought of way they can explain why the D enterprise could have look like the galaxy x theu where going to test bed the lance for domin war using the enterpise D but E was finished before it was done amd then the war so Geordie finished it him self and it would have completed the future

I seriously don't understand why you turned the E left when you did not need too and by your own shield grid, you weren't taking any damage either; that's what allowed the X to turn and fire the lance and destroy you. As I keep telling you, watch your turns and watch the nose direction of the other ship, which will always tell you how you should or should not turn.

Hi i have bought the game and watched ur video but i still struggle to download the remastered could you tell me a step by step? i wasnt able to find the system.exe one where u made a seperate copy.
the biggest Mistake was to not to do it Single Player and eventually Multiplayer for Android mobile phones like someone did already on Google Play Store under same name of Bridge Commandet, but abandonned unfortunately (Israel)...but lovely game, could be easily done under Unity engine and using CBS agreement around 50% of income ,D that would have been Revolutionary if it would work at least for all 8 CPU with Vulcan GPU off course ,D

One small bit of false advertising on your UA-cam page. You say that you have the best starship battles in the galaxy. I will admit that you are the best within 10 or 20 light years. You might even be the best in the western arm of the Milky Way. There are space combat sites in the Norther arm that are far better than any human could produce. Don't get me started on the arena on the far side near the outer rim. They finish each tournament with a Disaster Zone concert. It always ends with a bang.
Why are the phasers more powerful than the photon torpedoes?
Ok come on, the galaxy x shields were WAY to regenerative. The E and the F launching tons of quantum’s onto it and still shields getting recharging. That’s way off.

I bet it might be better protected then the standaard Galaxy, plus enough troops to do boarding actions (10.000).

The enterprise G will forever be the worst Joke NuTrek has ever produced.
That’s not the Enterprise G. That’s the Titan A.
The Galaxy-X needs a little bit of rebalancing: sure, it's powerful. It's supposed to. But it's a Gen 4.5 starship going up against a two Gen 6s, a 5 and a 4.
The Oddy would've torn the shields up more then it did, the Connie 3 might've lasted a bit longer then it did here and the Sovereign would've matched it shield-wise. The only ship it should be able to deal with with little difficulty is the standard Galaxy.
Granted, the AI is _stupid,_ but the point remains.

This particular ship is from the Aftermath pack, which is available in Remastered and Kobasyhaimaru.
