I should have gone over this a bit more admittedly, my bad! Maps into Sleepywood up to level 70, Mushroom Castle areas + questline, boars and skeletons in Perion, and the earlier maps in Aqua Road. There's also Orbis Tower, but vertical map layouts are a pain for most classes unless they have good built-in vertical mobility. Only other thing that's immediately coming to mind would be cross world PQs if you can find other people to do them with. Not too much variety around 70-80, which is mostly why people stick with the same 2-3 maps.
you can try ice drake too. It's also a nice way to go from copper drake (lvl60) to 80. If copper drake is taken at 60, go 1 or two map deeper into the cave. Go deeper as you level until you are 70 (ice drake). Maps past copper drake are empty 99% of the time

By far my least favorite level range is 160-180, you've got your skills, most of your Hypers, it's just nose-to-stone grinding. I've gotten every class to at least 140 at this point, trying to push my Legion. Next goal is 7500, but that requires quite a few levels on the Alts. Some classes really are pain. Could you make a video about gear progression please? like what type of set and weapon you should aim to get depending of your lvl and stuff like that, where to get decent rings, pendants etc. I think it would help a lot of casual players that never know what to do in the mid game and that's why they don't play regularly (speaking from my own experience)
An alternative way to level from 100-130 is fighting Pianus in Aqua road. Although limited, he gives a ton of exp if he is there, and isnt too hard too defeat

Reg server's popularity is certainly dwindling nowadays, even with all the server merges and regs being splintered in general. I used to be aurora too (windia!) but since coming back quickly discovered most gms players just play reboot nowadays and I can't blame them. Reg servers way too costly for just basic progression

It's so unfortunate that this guide came out right before the Zakum nerf... Zakum doesn't actually seem to give exp anymore unless you kill him, which makes Zakum training a lot less viable.

Damn… as a total beginner ive been trying this game feeling like my class is kinda slow and mid. And within 2 minutes i gotta hear mechanic is your choice for being troublesome. The luck i have to always pick troubling classes, fucking hell :^)
I chose mechanic because from the people I asked which class has the most issues 1-200, they remembered how hard 4th job onwards was, back before all their various buffs in recent times. By no means are they bad or mid though! They got a really good party/map-wide buff for both mobbing and bossing, and overall good damage for both. Their mobility got buffed a ton since I last played them which was a surprise to me, I enjoyed grinding one up again. I don't think any classes nowadays are bad choices for playing and sticking with. Different play styles for everyone. Also nexon loves a few select classes that just have little to no downsides but still occasionally get huge buffs, which in comparison for a lot of people is probably why they consider certain classes worse (even if they actually aren't)
Appreciate the big message! Quite insight full, i'll give it more time and i hope it'll work out for me once i reach that 4th job+ moment. The class seems really cool
mechanic limited movement? with a placeble map 2 way teleport gate, high jump that can get up pretty much anywhere and even the high speed dash-jump technique? :(
Hey @Decatei I'm a new player, around level 160-170 and the mobs around Kerning tower and Kritias are way too strong. I'm playing a Bucc and after 3 or so hits I'm already almost dying and it takes a whileeee before I can even kill the mobs there. Any advice on what I'm doing wrong? I'm not doing damage and I'm taking a ton of damage from mobs :(
You could try doing lower leveled areas more around your level or maybe even up to a couple levels under you, or beef up your damage/defense through a little star forcing, hyper stats, getting lucky with familiar cards having stat/att/healing lines, etc. As for the nearly dying in 3 hits thing, sadly that's about normal up into 5th job, until around 215-220ish in my experience. I'd try using the free 3-day puffram pet from the quest "Have you learned about pets?", and using it's auto HP potion if you're having issues keeping up with watching your health constantly

The Zakum arms thing was ill timed of me, I wasn't fully aware they were pulling it from the game so soon. Early maps around Leafre like Harps, Rash/Dark Rash, etc are good around 100. Could also go back to Magatia and stick with Roids for a few more levels and then move onto Leafre or the deeper parts of Aqua Road. Then, eventually Ludi mobs like Teddies and Robos
Asides from me dating the video talking about farming Zakum arms at 100, everything else should still be good to go! The only other difference is that in Reboot, you can reach the higher areas a bit easier due to the recent monster hp/exp change Also if you wanted places to train at 100 in place of Zakum arms: Leafre and Ludibrium still work just fine
Mechanics has extremely good movement if you bother to learn it, but most people don't. You should also be using tank mode over humanoid form 100% of the time because it generates far higher crit rate and missile output. As for levelling, I can confirm Mechanics is my slowest level 1 to 200 yet. Haven't done battle mage yet though. The damage is piss weak even with 6k legion and link skills.
Once you have at least 500 total levels across all your characters, you unlock the legion board and blocks through dame appropriation in most towns. Then, you just place said character blocks on the legion grid through the UI hidden in the menus, and the blocks and the grid itself both give all your characters passive stats permanently. MapleWiki has all this way more fleshed out than I could ever put in a youtube comment, so I'd recommend looking there for more info!
I'd really like to know what you did in terms of gear for the non-hyper burning character. One of my biggest struggles when leveling my alts past 100 is that I feel my character is super weak compared to the mobs, even though I have all lv2 links for mobbing and 3.5k legion. I'm a new player to MS, started about a month ago.
I mostly just star forced pensalir up to 10-12 stars, and used that all the way to 200! 100-140 can be a bit slow without star force but only thing I enhanced up to that point was theme dungeon equips, which only goes up to 5 stars. Also it might be worth getting the evan and mercedes link skills to speed up future alt grinding! Extra rune duration and extra flat exp respectively, both are really nice
Is the hyper burning rewards past lv 200 only for one character? or is it per hyper burning event? Bec it says “Only one character per account can you claim this reward”
The rewards are for 1-200+ if you're creating the character + putting the burning on them right from the start of their creation, or 200+ only if you're throwing it on an existing character, per event/account. So you get one total burning character + their rewards every event

@@trueirony2116 Correct! Though keep in mind you can only claim the rewards once you reach that tier, so if you throw the burning on say a level 226 character, they'll only get burning rewards 230 onward (the one exception being levels, you'll always keep the 3 levels every level up)

Don't believe so! Reg server has things like the Enjoyable Winter coupons and such that people sometimes sell on Auction House, but otherwise they're usually only through events, event coins, legion shop, etc.

Any alternatives to Stairway to the Sky and the orbis maps around level 70? I’ve done those to death and they are so crowded these days.

Both are at 1920 x 1080! I believe Maple supports resolutions higher than this too, but with varying degrees of bugs beyond 1920 x 1080

Yeah I honestly had a lot of fun re-leveling my mech to 200, their movement got SUPER upgraded since I last touched them
I can't see how mechanic is hard at all.
I have no idea what legion is or how it works.

I don't know what you guys are talking about, the forsaken 2 site is awful, my EXP is minimal.
It's a popular spot mainly because it's an easy condensed map
(There are way better higher burning maps to train in at Fox Valley)
