Oh Aran is so curious to me, combat is fun but for some reason I'm always pushed away by the mobility, I think i might've been spoiled by other classes with up jump and double flash jump :\

The damage is good but it's so irritating and risky to set up now It also feels unrewarding

Smash swing is usually used in bossing because you're able to move slightly and still do damage to the boss on top of not accidentally combat stepping (if you don't have it locked).

Aran without bear isn't Aran 😢

It just doesn’t feel like a warrior anymore.. more summoning that using the actual weapon. May as well change it to a mage. The turtle has me completely confused!

I love the new Aran! I hyper burned mine as a boss mule and have brought it up to Hlomien so far. Def gonna continue bringing it up to Ctene because I love the kit apart from the upjump.

dang that polearm looks sick

quick note about permafrost- the hit box is deceptively small. it doesnt reachthe top of the polearm, so it wont always get 2 platforms

I main Aran and today was the first time I learned that the Impenetrable Skin gives damage increase...

It's important to note that Aran's origin immediately gives you the second stage adrenaline for 15s increasing the duration 1s for every 100 combo, so when bursting with origin, you don't manually start adrenaline at all. Making it simple, origin burst is -1000 combo, Toggles and buffs -Permafrost, Weapon aura -MWG blessing, Heroic Memories -Blizzard tempest -AB link, Origin -Hunter's prey, Adrenaline surge -Last Stand x3, Maha's carnage -dpm beyond blade + carnage on cd

My brother in maple!!!!!! I am now complete. DA, Mihile Mihile Mihile, and now Aran. I feel to play other characters just to get excited for these guides.

I think for other jobs, using Aran link skills gives less exp. I think it's 900% for Aran only, like AB's link skill which gives less dmg for other classes

I've been playing the Revamped Aran since mid-December. I'm 3 levels away from 260 and I'm now finding out on that you can HOLD HUNTER'S PREY. I don't know anything about Aran after all 😂

After the burst, whats the play, I assume its Possesion > Strike Arrow to get a stack, and doing that and using your best available execute right? and if everything is on CD do we use the execute without CD(Phantom Blade) and just just rotate best available while getting stacks till CD? so constantly pressing Posession + Strike Arrow right? off burst

Battle Mage was my favorite and my main class during the first year or 2 when it launched. The stackable auras was at it's peak. After they removed tons of skills like the tornado spin, summon reaper, the finisher, dark shock and blood drain AND introduced annoying playstyle like tele-casting dark shock.. I rage quitted the game. I had invested tons of time and effort on battle mage solely because I just loved the design or the skills and how they are great melee attackers but Nexon or whoever in their team simply TOOK ALL THAT AWAY. I felt cheated. In my honest opinion, they should've just introduced a new mage class with that tele-casting idea and leave Battle Mages as the way it is. This is why I have a huge disdain with Maplestory, they advertise classes and skills, but these class and skills will never last long and will constantly get changed! Do note I've no issues if the changes are just updated visuals. I take it as a huge insult when they change the core mechanics/playstyle of classes and this was what happened to Battle Mages and other classes as well. Every once in a while I'd think back on my maplestory days, the friends and experience I had and also the wonderful music, but sadly I can never bring myself to play the game again because of the reasons above.

I was Aurora's Jett, Jooty, and it was a pretty heavy blow. I got to 275 almost a year before the class got deleted and had liberated too. Playing Bucc now is nice but I'll never feel the freedom I once felt with Jett, plus the compensation was awful. I at least got to keep my Gold Astro Emblem which is a nice memento, though I wish there was an emblem anvil haha. Thanks for making a video about Jett 😔🙏
