I love that you used "minimum viable product" terminology. My wife is a product manager and I'm a software developer, and I used this framing to explain to my entrepreneurally-interested ADHD kid how treating homework the way we treat work projects (do an MVP and then iterate) lets him go down an exploratory path with his ideas, but always have something he can hand in on time. It seems to have really resonated.
Absolutely loved it. It’s so useful for removing perfectionism. The ‘bullseye’ variation on it really resonated with my godson (ASD, ADHD), although her actually turned it into a mini dart board for when he was ‘on the fence’ or had difficulty interpreting his motivational state, but hey, he did have an awesome project to turn in for his first year of woodwork lol
@@PeachPlastic not an expert but know the gist. Posting the applicable part first and the explanation after. So in exploring an idea, maybe you’ve identified a problem that needs a solution. Instead of researching and building everything, look at the simplest solution first which you can then change in later iterations (versions). Maybe make a smaller scale model instead of a full size one for proof of concept. Check to see if someone else has already solved that issue before diving in headfirst. Or maybe there is an existing solution that needs improvement. Basically, don’t waste time and resources trying to get it perfected before you find out if it even works or if it will be useful. In software, you can have a problem if you wait until the end of the project to show it to the client because maybe they didn’t know exactly what they wanted or how long it would take or maybe someone else developed something faster. So, we break it down into major tasks and give the highest rated task highest priority. Then, the team decides how to attack it, how long it should take and what done looks like. Iterations (versions) are created until the solution is reached and then you move on to the next. MVP, minimally viable product, means the smallest, most elegant, COMPLETE solution to the task at hand. You show that to the client, they say yay or nay, and then you either fix it or move on. It saves developers time and resources because you can see immediately if you’re on the right track. For example, if you need a chair to sit in because you have none, but you’re broke, you might find the least expensive option and then later get a more comfortable cushion or make it a prettier color with a cover. You’re not going to go straight to a throne which you’d have to save up for and might be uncomfortable for table in the long run.
I finally at 32 took the Conners Cpt 3 test. Got diagnosed with ADHD. I scored 87 in inattentiveness and 80 something in impulsiveness. I finally feel validated after 20 years. This channel truly helped me understand I actually had it before I spoke up and got tested. It helped me push myself to validate it. Thank you guys so much for everyone who runs this channel! You do wonders for people like myself,
I just recently got diagnosed myself. At 50. In so many ways, it's a relief. I can now see it in so many ways in my past and present. Now if I could only get myself to start actually implement any of the strategies to help me function better in this world, lol.
@@Hest4 no it’s a Conor’s 3 test I took at either a) psychiatrist office b) mental health or I believe a doctors office. Just type in conors 3 test locations on google.
The entire time I've been in college (3½ years), I've struggled to explain to my friends, family, and school advisors on why I couldn't finish my homework on time and the barriers I face in academics like negative associations, perfectionism, distorted expectations, overcomplicating tasks, feeling overwhelmed, unable to organize tasks etc. I'm usually told that I just need to breath and do pomodoros and do time blocks on Google calendar. Yet for the first time in 3½ years I feel seen. From what I've seen in the video, this planner makes me feel so validated in my struggles, that someone finally understands and there's strategies to actually combat these different areas
U get it. The absolute disability to complete tasks OM TIME. Even if I try. I just can’t seem to. I’m failing for the first time in my life bc at my new college, the assignments just lock me out and I can’t turn things in even minutes late. So half of my assignments are just 0’s when I’ve usually an a-b student. Bro, and OVERCOMPLICATING tasks. Yes. Bro. And Unable to organize tasks. I just applied for my schools disability services for some accommodations like extra time on exams and assignments. But it’s the end of semester already and I’m very late, as usual. So 🤞🏽
Hi Dani (: I received mine in December and I absolutely love it! And as a quick RE: to the -stress- update emails during the pre-order phase last year: I absolutely didn't mind the delays. If anything it made it all the more relatable, and as far as I'm concerned you handled the situation and communication around it perfectly well (: Most importantly, the result was well worth the wait!
I have begun to think that some of us with ADHD have very much been taught to prove our worth by being productive, which in a terrible irony, makes us unable to be productive. Body doubling at ADHD Actually has changed my life primarily by giving me a community of people who verify I'm not a bad person.
I have the Anti-Planner and I can confidently say it’s been GAME-CHANGING for me (pun slightly intended: It’s filled with games). I’m so very glad I got it because Dani *gets it*. She gets us and how our brains operate because hers works the same way. I was also so pleased to see your name in it, Jessica! Glad to see the forces of good for ADHD working together. 🙂
Can I give you a word of encouragement? I am so excited that you are writing a book! It's like waiting for Christmas day! I think all that you have already done for this community is amazing, and even if it is only regurgitated information that you have already posted on your channel and nothing new, it would be a success and that would be enough! I am excited to have something to hold physically in my hands, carry in my bag, or even sit on my shelf that has a message of empowerment in its pages. I have had a book for my depression that I have used for this purpose, and it honestly just gives me support knowing its there to be able to access whenever I might need it (like having an inhaler in my pocket for my asthma, or a klonipin for an anxiety attack). I am also excited to have a physical resource I can hand to others that may not be the type to sit and watch a UA-cam video, i.e. my 87 yr old dad. I am constantly reccommending your channel to others! There are so many people in mine and my kid's lives that need this information, just to give them a glimpse of what we are all dealing with, and how to make it not so limiting to our success. I can't wait to get one of these planners as well. Thank you guys for providing such a needed service to the ADHD community in all you do ❤!
I needed this so much today. Thank you. I just turned in half the book and have to work on polishing/finishing the rest of it and I'm so tired...knowing it could be carried around and treasured like this means so much to me. Thank you!!!!!! I'm adding this to my "inspiration for a rainy day" file :)
This Anti-Planner from Dani is fantastic! It was well worth the anticipatory wait, (I preordered mine WAY back at her first mention of its conception.) Big thanks to both of you gals for giving back to the ND community. Your work inspires me to find ways to give back and participate in my own spaces 💜
I just wanted to say thank you for what you do. I was first diagnosed at 41, and it got blown off by everyone. I am now 59, and just started medication treatment for the first time. Once again, THANK YOU!!!
5:48 as a neurotipical left handed person I really understood that this is a 100% necessary when I tried to learn guitar ... because I just couldn't, it was horrible. No matter how much time and effort I was putting I just couldn't get the fingers right to hit the notes, let alone the accords. BUT when I finally decided to reverse the strings on my guitar so that I could play it like a left handed person...man! It was heaven. Now...in just a few months I have accomplished what in half year of practice I couldn't. Soo now I feel like I can understand my brothers a little bit more because 2/3 are in the Autistic spectrum and the third have ADHD. It really is just a different way that their brain works.
I'm also a lefty, and in elementary I was supposed to learn violin. No matter what I did it always sounded like a dying cat. My mom asked the teacher about being a lefty he insisted I learn the same as everyone. Years later I spoke to a different teacher, turns out he was supposed to reverse my strings move the chin rest to the other side and teach me with a mirror!
THANK YOU SO MUCH!! for not only sharing this fantastic resource to the community and supporting another ADHD creator but also saving my doomed searching! I came across this a long while back and told myself to get it later....and then forgot. Cue months later and I was going thru a rough patch. I remembered that I'd seen an ADHD workbook that really spoke to my experiences by someone with ADHD. Let's just say that 'ADHD book' was not the best search term to work with. Now I just need to save up for this! ^-^
"The thing " for me would be that this book would be lost or forgotten....lol I have often told people that things have to perfect in my mind before i start. Never knew until recently.
pssssst! I'm buying your book (and watching your videos) because I like YOU and want to hear the info you have in YOUR voice. The realness and imperfections is part of what makes you so relatable, and your content so useful and accessible to so many people. Keep being you, and we'll keep coming to watch and read!
Is it bad that I'm already crying from the validation on page one? I have been feeling like a failure for not finishing a task I have completed in my head in10 different ways and am only 60% competed physically. I was instantly overwhelmed with relief just from hearing that one thing. Your worth is not measured in productivity. Saving my psyche and my life, possibly, with just a little validation. Thank you, both of you, for being here.
Thanks for opening it up and showing a few more pages. I've been on the "I really want this but can't justify spending so much on it" fence since it was announced. So actually getting to see it really helps.
I am so excited the reprint is out. I ordered a copy for myself and each of my kids and it feels like we’ve been waiting forever. Thanks for the heads up that its on its way to us, finally!
At least 2 or 3 times a year I buy 1 or 2 (or 3) notebooks, a bunch of pens of black ink and color ink, different color highlighters, and sometimes different tabs, sticky notes, and 3×5 cards... Sometimes I'll start using them, but it for various reasons, I end up putting things aside, untill I think about it again, and then I can't find anything.
Jessica is the only UA-cam creator whose videos I don't have to speed up the playback. I seriously watch other videos on at least 1.25 X speed. Jessica gets to the point. 🙂
My therapist is always telling me to slow down because I speak too fast. And I need to watch video above normal velocity too, but Jessica's are the only ones I don't do it.
I heard about this anti-planner on NPR a couple weeks ago; it really intrigued me, but then I forgot about it. So I'm glad I ran across this video. Thanks!
Oh thank you! When you said you wanted the book to be better than you thought you were capable of making it I finally understood what's been stopping me building my kitchen. Thank you!
A friend got me this and it’s still sitting in my drawer. But I looked through it and it is so well done?? But I gotta get over feeling so overwhelmed by being alive
I got mine a few weeks ago and I have used it several times! It really is an amazing resource for when I just don't know what to do, or when I DO know what to do and I'm just. not. doing. it. Coincidentally, I am travelling to Italy in May as well! Ciao!
Oooh oooh oooh I didn't realise it was available?! I saw someone review it last year and really wanted to get it. As per usual I forgot it exists! Thanks for the reminder!!
In therapy today I finally brought up that I think I have ADHD, and we are going to go through a test to see what might be the best plan for me. Your videos have been SO helpful for me to understand things I’ve dealt with that May actually be ADHD related!
i preordered mine a few weeks ago and now i am constantly vibrating in anticipation waiting for it to be shipped, i'm so excited it looks like SUCH a useful tool!!
I had the Anti-Planner in my cart last month, but I held off (shipping is expensive). I was kind of waiting for you to review this and the detail you shared was really helpful. I'm on the next pre-order!
I have got to have one of these! I was diagnosed with ADD in 4th grade and placed on ritalin. It turned me into a zombie. My mom decided that ADD wasn't real and it was a ploy by the schools. Took me off the medication, never asked another question and just decided I had a behavioral problem.
The trick was, you did have a behavioral problem - because of unaddressed, unmedicated mental health challenges. Have you been able to try new medication since then? I got very lucky that the basic, common Adderall dosage works well for me. I know some people need to try several to find a good fit.
I really need this!!! I have such a hard time with procrastination and anxiety around it all so this looks perfect to try for some new techniques to get myself doing instead of not doing ☺️
Thank you so much for showing this book. How many books sound good but you have no idea what is in them! I'm so excited and I look forward to pre-ordering this for my son! As usual Jessica is awesome.
I just ordered this because of how thoroughly you explained it & how excited you were about it ♡ I'm gonna watch this video again when it arrives to get re-hyped
Annnnnd this is why I have a crafting table next to my bed instead of a bedside table! I'm obsessed with crafting, making miniatures etc and get a lot of random ideas in bed, but I wouldn't do anything because the steps of getting everything out was overwhelming. Now I have a crafting bench with a draws, lots of space to hold things and craft, right next to me! I LOVE it!!
It's beautiful and helpful and I feel bad worrying it's not for me. I'm worried about getting it, reading a bit, putting it down, and never touching it again. It's such a wonderful resource, I'd feel really guilty when I see it instead of inspired.
Thank you for this video! When I got mine I was SO EXCITED aaaaand haven't touched it since 😂 this made me interested and sat down with it for 10ish minutes. Absolutely love it. So reassuring
This video is how I learned about both Dani and the Anti-Planner. My copy arrived a couple of weeks ago and I genuinely love it. I’ve only tried a couple of things from it so far but the things I have tried have really worked. Also, the fact that it’s so beautifully made helps keep me interested and invested in using it (I’m way more likely to stick to something colourful and pretty than I am something grey and boring). Thank you for this review, or I’d never have found Dani or her amazing book!
Have you talked to your publisher about them hosting an errata page for your book? There can be a link to it in the front of the book, and in the rare case that any corrections are required, they can be easily added to the errata page to inform future readers.
hi jessica, you’ve really helped me since my diagnosis last year. do you think you could make a “how to study” video? Like how to insert information into your brain. thanks
awww that whole starting message on the first written page feels like an internet hug :,D "here to help not because of fear but because you want to" like.... damn, the damn of feels broke
6:20 yes, this worked for me! Some years ago i figured out i was not gonna get rid of the habit of throwing my clothes on the floor. The place i undress is my bathroom. So in my bathroom, i now have a box of "clothes i will wear again tomorrow". It's on the floor so i can literally drop everything in there. And if i do feel like i want my room to look neat, i can scoot the box under the shelf (it still sticks out enough for me to dump things in it). this is one of the few routine things that have actually worked for years now!
I have wanted to get this ever since she made the pre-order link available. Hopefully, I can afford to get one this year! Thanks for sharing this detailed overview and review with us.
This was so timely for me!! I literally just ordered this book yesterday, and I have had so much guilt being afraid that it will be another wasted attempt. But, I have learned so much from you since my Dx (less than 6 months ago - at 47….. 😮), and if you say it’s great, then that boosts my confidence that I will learn new techniques that will help me too. I appreciate you and your videos more than I could possibly express. Every time I see your smiling explanations, it fills me with hope - that tomorrow can be better than yesterday. So, thank you - thank you from the bottom of my heart. Can’t wait to be buying YOUR book ❤
It really is great. I always like it in my line of sight because it just radiates this support "here for you" vibe. Nice to know you can always flip through and get ideas for your particular brand of funk that day 😂
This is an excellent review! Thank you so much! And I am obsessed with the anti planner! I ordered it less than half way through the video! 😂 it’s gonna be such a pleasant little gift from myself this summer! 😊😊😊
Also this book got me to get a second laundry basket because I keep just dumping them on the floor so now it’s just from laundry basket to laundry basket
Even though I wish I'd been diagnosed before age 49, I'm more forgiving of the foibles of others and grateful your channel so clearly describes the challenges I face every day. Thank you 👍 Oh, and forgetting a chapter on forgetting? Classic 😂😂
OMG. I love your comment about learning and growing and at the right level of challenge. I'm feeling that EVERYDAY in the job I started a year ago. Almost everything I'm doing is out of wheelhouse it feels like. I'm being not just pushed out of my comfort zone, but locked out of it once I'm out! But I'm learning and growing. And if I was in my comfort zone, I know I would be bored out of my mind eventually. This hit home so hard. Thank you. And I'm so happy you reviewed this. I have been debating for a while on getting this. I've seen a few other review videos on The Anti-Planner, but how you're going through it and USING it made the difference for me. I've ordered it. I just wish I had ordered it sooner now!
I found out about this book a little late, but I asked my partner to pre-order it for me for my birthday and he did 😊 I can't wait to get my hands on it!
I got mine a while ago and I absolutely love it. I love that I can jump from section to section depending on what I am feeling that day and how much energy I have to do something. As a gamer, I love the D20 list one especially. The options for turning tasks into games really works for me and has actually got me cleaning more.
I need that antiplanner.. And I need your book. You have helped me so much this past year that I can't even describe. I have gone from "autist, and not even good at being that" to "I have ADHD, and is ok to not be ok". I had a autism dx since I was a teenager and felt like I was utterly bad at even..being autistic. But a while back I stumbled on to your channel, realised that "Heyy wait.. This is very..relatable" and went to my psych who tested me and ADHD it was. Now I make sense. You made me make sense.
I have been thinking about buying this when Danni announced it on Twitter. This review convinced me to buy not only one, but also a copy for my mother.
I love my anti-planner (and even ordered a second one for my son). It’s the first planner I’m going to feel ZERO guilt about not writing in because I want to use these tools over and over and over again. Such a brilliant idea.
While I am on the spectrum, I ended up giving the Anti-Planner a try because I was struggling quite a bit in terms of - as you and Dani lovely say - “getting to ‘Done.’ “ I finally received my copy of the Anti-Planner this afternoon. I don’t know why I was, for some reason, scared . . . or simply hesitant to open it, but I’m glad I did!
I’m only a little over 3 minutes in but I had to comment because I literally burst into tears over the “your worth is not measured in productivity.” I took a course of ACT (Acceptance and Commitment Therapy) in 2020 (over the phone for obvious reasons lol) and this was exactly what we kept coming back to. I realised how much I base my worth on that. And how much our society does the same! It’s such an important thing to realise and then learn to… not undo (is that possible?!) but work on. But so easy to forget. That reminder coming at a time when I needed it just set off the waterworks and I’m grateful for it and eager to hop back into the video now 😊
Hey Jess, can you guys please talk about the adderall shortage and how it affects those with ADHD. Maybe incorporate how social media has influenced people to get tested.
I love this! I have just put in a pre-order for the second batch. Both my Husband and I have ADHD, but of course our brains work differently. I hope that we can sit down together to look through the book and work separately. Come back together and see what works for both of us and how we can support each other. Thank you so very much. I love watching your channel and will definitely be picking up your book when it comes out!
Perhaps you could put an URL in your book, and say "Any amendments, if any, would be published on this website." I've seen some books with this kind of provision.
I’m so proud of myself - there’s gardening stuff I’ve *needed* to do and the weather has finally been warm enough this whole week while I’ve been working, but I was procrastinating the day away instead. I finally decided I’d go do *one* thing before it started to get dark, watched half of this video while getting ready, went out and did three really, really important things, and came inside to see the part where you talk about setting realistic goals and perfectly arranging your bookshelf if you have time 😄
I’ve been putting off getting a diagnosis for years… I know both my dad and sister have ADHD but I just met them 10 years ago. I finally talked to a psychologist online and he told me I needed to see a neuropsychologist asap and to get tested… still not feeling the motivation to do it. Last time I used my insurance I got charged $1k for a normal lab test for BV. I’m afraid to go into debt to get my diagnosis for ADHD. Though I know I have it. I felt like I was crazy growing up. I just bought this book and I’m hoping it helps. Your videos have also been such a great help for me as well to not feel crazy or alone. Thank you. Maybe I’ll finally find that motivation to not be such a homebody and leave dishes in my sink for a week. Maybe I’ll finally go to college even though I’ve said this for 10 years now. Maybe I can stop hurting the relationships I have with people by saying things without thinking. Maybe I’ll finally get that diagnosis.
btw, you *can* issue "errata" for factual errors in books. it gets packaged as a separate sheet in the front of the book, and successive editions/reprints can have the correction in a footnote or actually just rewritten, with a note as to what the correction was.
Hi, I just finished writing in my journal I got to know my self better, I was looking to understand things better on UA-cam I found your channel, I love your way of thinking maybe you should talk also to ppl that don’t have ADHD Thx & good luck ❤

I received mine yesterday and I live in Canada so it took a little longer to get here. I love it! Also, I'm part of an adhd meetup zoom group and I've already started to share some of the ideas.

You do wonders for people like myself,
Aw that's so great, thank you for sharing this important milestone with us!! I'm exhausted today so words are hard but I'm glad you're here
@@HowtoADHD it totally get words being hard but it’s nice to see we’re not alone with a channel like this. Hope you day gets better.
I just recently got diagnosed myself. At 50. In so many ways, it's a relief. I can now see it in so many ways in my past and present. Now if I could only get myself to start actually implement any of the strategies to help me function better in this world, lol.
Congratulations! Is this a test I can do on my own? If it is, could you provide a link please? Thank you :)
Hear hear
Wait, did I type this or was it you? ♥
So 🤞🏽
I’m so glad you like it!!! 😭💕
It's so helpful!!! It really is like having you here with me when I get stuck :D
Hi Dani (:
I received mine in December and I absolutely love it!
And as a quick RE: to the -stress- update emails during the pre-order phase last year:
I absolutely didn't mind the delays. If anything it made it all the more relatable, and as far as I'm concerned you handled the situation and communication around it perfectly well (: Most importantly, the result was well worth the wait!
❤
Ordered 2 copies, one for the 70+-year-old and one for the 40+-year-old. Same household. Not sharing. 😆
@@effortlesszone lol, we have a 65 yo & a 37 yo in our house, both with adhd. Can't wait for the book to be published!
8:00 *writing notes about fear of the permanence of a book, while writing the exercise on a notepad so as to not put a permanent mark on the book*
This had me rolllllllllinggggg bc that was my exact thought as I was working through the book and I laughed at myself 😂😂😂😂
THIS IS SO COOL! I'd high key love to see it turned into an interactive app. And seeing you go through and react to it was so exciting!!
YES ! An app. so it doesn't get lost ! 🤔
yes an app would be brilliant!!!!
Genius!!!
Me too I'd love this more as an app too since that's what is faster for me and to have sync across devices so I never lose anything
Oh man that would be incredible!
2:48 Got me into crying suddenly so bad. 'No way to fail even if you tried.' This means so much to me. I'm so touched 🥺
We don't fail until we quit
I have begun to think that some of us with ADHD have very much been taught to prove our worth by being productive, which in a terrible irony, makes us unable to be productive. Body doubling at ADHD Actually has changed my life primarily by giving me a community of people who verify I'm not a bad person.
When I she re-read "Your. Worth. Is. Not. Measured. In. Productivity." I started crying. I guess I'll be talking to my therapist about that.
"the thing just needs your help to get to done" please i am sobbbing
It was well worth the anticipatory wait, (I preordered mine WAY back at her first mention of its conception.)
Big thanks to both of you gals for giving back to the ND community.
I'd totally forgotten about it, and when it came in the mail I was surprised and SO EXCITED. This thing is legitimately magical!
I think there's been some learning because I preordered in December, and now I'm getting weekly PDFs from the book to get started with.
Congrats for completing your book! That is a huge accomplishment. I look forward to reading it!
"The thing " for me would be that this book would be lost or forgotten....lol
I have often told people that things have to perfect in my mind before i start. Never knew until recently.
This book is like a big warm blanket! I love it so much!
Helps that she speaks like us, ya know at ADHD speeds
Same!
Yep, I’m a two times everyone viewer.
May I also recommend Lisa clough at lachri fine art, - definitely my speed.
My therapist is always telling me to slow down because I speak too fast. And I need to watch video above normal velocity too, but Jessica's are the only ones I don't do it.
Same!
Most videos I watch at 2.0. If the creator is from the south, well, then 2.0 isn't always fast enough for me
Love this so much. I may need this in my life, not as a solution but as a trial to see if I like it.
This looks SO helpful - I feel like I could put this on my work desk & refer to it like every day. Ordering now!!
I'd been looking at getting this for my husband, who is an Aspie with strong ADHD tendencies. Now I'm 100% certain he needs this. Thank you. ❤️
I just Totally pre ordered it! That was an awesome ADHD info mercial for it❤️
Thank you so much for showing this book. How many books sound good but you have no idea what is in them! I'm so excited and I look forward to pre-ordering this for my son! As usual Jessica is awesome.
I was so excited to see this video: I pre-ordered mine in the last round, and I know it's on its way to me. Those activities look awesome!
ohhhhh okay.... yeah, that layout sold me. The colour by numbers idea is AWESOME!
I LOVE it!!
I’ve never seen a video so close to when it was posted ! Thankyou for your videos, you’ve been my biggest support since I was first diagnosed
Just ordered mine and looking forward to being 100% surprised when it arrives because by then I will have long forgotten I ordered it.🙌
This video is how I learned about both Dani and the Anti-Planner.
There can be a link to it in the front of the book, and in the rare case that any corrections are required, they can be easily added to the errata page to inform future readers.
hi jessica,
you’ve really helped me since my diagnosis last year.
do you think you could make a “how to study” video? Like how to insert information into your brain.
thanks
This would be great for my High Schooler.
I second that
I want this SO MUCH. This is the second video I’ve watched about it, so I gotta put it on my wishlist.
I got my anti-planner in the mail Christmas Eve! Best present from past me ever!🤩 I love it so much!!🥰❤️🎉
I preordered mine about a month ago. I'm super excited to get mine when the next batch is ready
awww that whole starting message on the first written page feels like an internet hug :,D
"here to help not because of fear but because you want to" like.... damn, the damn of feels broke
Nice to know you can always flip through and get ideas for your particular brand of funk that day 😂
@@msmiami212 thank you so much for that encouragement! I can’t wait to get started 🎉
This is an excellent review! Thank you so much! And I am obsessed with the anti planner! I ordered it less than half way through the video! 😂 it’s gonna be such a pleasant little gift from myself this summer! 😊😊😊
Perfect timing! I already ordered mine and stoked to get a preview through you. Yay!
Also this book got me to get a second laundry basket because I keep just dumping them on the floor so now it’s just from laundry basket to laundry basket
I got mine earlier this year and I've been using it basically every day since then! I love love love this book!
Even though I wish I'd been diagnosed before age 49, I'm more forgiving of the foibles of others and grateful your channel so clearly describes the challenges I face every day. Thank you 👍
Oh, and forgetting a chapter on forgetting? Classic 😂😂
I just got mine a few days ago, and my excitement and feelings when I opened was just like yours.
I wish she made a digital version so I can use it on my tablet and reuse it.
Makes it a very scrapbooker vibe too which is mentally wonderful
Apparently she's working on a digital version
Glad to hear that, where did you get that info?
@@charlesboyle3370 On her website she mentions that she's working on it in the FAQ section
Iirc Dani sends chapter pdfs after the book is bought
I just found your channel after sitting searching for videos on ADHD as I have 3 year old son that has been diagnosed with ADHD AND OCD together.
I found out about this book a little late, but I asked my partner to pre-order it for me for my birthday and he did 😊 I can't wait to get my hands on it!
Literally so relatable i am absolutely in love with it already i want it for my birthday 😂🎉❤ Thank you so so much for going through it!!!!
I loved the “Aw! It’s a Wall of Awful!” ❤ and I love that term in general!
Lmaooooooooooo I’m screaming!
“I moved a cup” 😂
Time to celebrate 🎉

That reminder coming at a time when I needed it just set off the waterworks and I’m grateful for it and eager to hop back into the video now 😊
This looks really awesome. I'm considering getting it for myself. Thanks for sharing!
I have just received my copy and i am so excited to use it and go through. I was over excited when it arrived :)
You always make me cry every video thank you
Ahhh I’ve been eyeing this planner for a while now. I love it!
You for sharing this. I'm so excited to check it out! I am especially interested in diving into the "why" areas.
I ordered this last month but haven't had the chance to look at any of the emails. I'm so looking forward to getting it!
It came! It's so wonderful!
Hi, I just finished writing in my journal I got to know my self better, I was looking to understand things better on UA-cam I found your channel, I love your way of thinking maybe you should talk also to ppl that don’t have ADHD
Thx & good luck ❤
So i don't struggle with impulse buys, I pretty much over think any purchase and then don't get it... But it took me a few seconds to decide this was for me! Im about to have my third baby in three years and planning a big move 4 hours away 😂😭 I don't think I need a planner more than this... Whenever it arrives it will be so worth the £40!
Very interesting and fun video but also a very effective book promo for your own book! I'm really looking forward to it now!
I received mine yesterday and I live in Canada so it took a little longer to get here. I love it! Also, I'm part of an adhd meetup zoom group and I've already started to share some of the ideas.
I need to overcome resignation. I gave up on doing anything and am okay with that. Deep down I know I should be doing something but then I remind myself I will likely never finish and thur the cycle repeats
This is fascinating!! Might actually get this and give it a read. Thanks for the recommendation.
I love mine! I forgot I ordered it and one day, there was a package on my door. What a great surprise!
