This song makes me want to leave everything behind and run dramatically through the highlands for the rest of my life
Don’t forget your great kilt. 🥰
Same ❤️
Have you done this yet? If not, why not! 🏴🏴🏴
Hahaha brilliant 🏴
Aye and midgies biting yer bum
I found this song through the Tattoo 2023. Absolutely love it xx
Same!
I think NatiDreddd should feature on your next album! We have tickets for your tour and her and I are coming to see you in Ayr when you reschedule! Get her on the stage for a tune!!!!
See you there 👍🏼 ❤️ 🏴
See you there 👍🏼 ❤️ 🏴
Another local I’m fae Kilmarnock
The little chicken is not friends with natti dredd
This aged well. Look what happened on the most recent tour. Btw dude. Your music is incredible too. As well as Natalie's :p
Me and several Scottish friends went to Latvia to teach kids at a music camp along with many other internationals. To represent Scotland we played/sang this and taught the Latvians to play it. We absolutely enjoyed it and it was a great time. As a result I oddly associate this song with Latvia as well as my home country of Scotland. Which is what makes this song extra special for me
Did no-one record it? Upload to youtube?
Was it a Christian Camp?
I am literally in love with those distinctively pronounced R's in the words "girl" and "world".
Robert's accent sends shivers up my spine every time
I’m Scottish but now live in Canada I miss home
They played this song near the end of The Royal Edinburgh Military Tattoo when I was in Scotland 2 weeks ago. It was amazing and so moving, that I'm glad I found this video and can relive the energy of such an amazing and awe-inspiring gathering at Edinburgh Castle.🎉
Me too. It was amazing!
Me three. I was there. Also the stilt dancers, the lone piper, the fireworks. So worth experiencing. Greetings, guys from Redondo Beach, CA.
We were there for the first time, great experience!
How lucky you are!

Natidredd should legit get an a capella full version of this with these guys
Heard on Skye FM I'm English and well traveled and Scotland is my favourite place and the Hebrides my favourite part, this place has a magic feel about it I have never experienced anywhere else. I want to live here forever.
There are stories I’ve heard told, of an unfamiliar road
Where the evening sun hangs gold in the skyline
In a quiet unknown town, there is solace to be found
In the unforsaken hours of the twilight
There’s a girl and I can see her far away from this frontier
[Chorus]
‘Cos I wanna dance with a Highland girl
Where the skies reach out for miles
I wanna feel the breeze of the Hebrides
On the far side of the world
On an evening in July ‘neath the red Lochaber sky
She smiled and closed her eyes on my shoulder
Now I’m a million miles from home, from the girl I call my own
And I’m dreaming all alone just to hold her
As I look into the water, I see her standing at the altar
[Chorus]
And I wanna dance with a Highland girl
Where the skies reach out for miles
I wanna feel the breeze of the Hebrides
On the far side of the world
Cos I wanna dance with a Highland girl
Where the skies reach out for miles
I wanna feel the breeze of the Hebrides
On the far side of the world
Nail your colours to the mast, in the footsteps of the past
And when you breathe your last, life’s returning
For when the sun sets on the years, all the miles and all the tears
A world away from here, it’s the morning
In my mind I see her smile, where the tide lines grace the isle
[Chorus]
‘Cos I wanna dance with a Highland girl
Where the skies reach out for miles
I wanna feel the breeze of the Hebrides
On the far side of the world
‘Cos I wanna dance with a Highland girl
Where the skies reach out for miles
I wanna feel the breeze of the Hebrides
On the far side of the world
[Outro]
‘Cos I wanna dance with a Highland girl
Where the skies reach out for miles
I wanna feel the breeze of the Hebrides
On the far side of the world

Thank you for putting these words to paper "as the saying goes". I was dying to know what they were after the Edinburgh Military Tattoo. I love the song. And the show. Wow, those pipes.
Played at this year’s Edinburgh Military Tattoo.. absolutely fabulous ❤
no matter where I end up in life,if I end up halfway across the world,my heart will always belong in Scotland: )
Even though the English and Scottish are very old enemies I’m always so glad England is close because of how beautiful Scotland is
As an Englishman. I will never not be envious of the pride most Scots get to feel for their home. Its a feeling I wish I had. I love Scotland.
Forever ..alba
Home.
Last year I made a roadtrip through Scotland with my girlfriend. This song was often played on the radio and reminds me of the good times.
Greetings from Germany.
Like pyrotechnical
I'm from the US and discovered them on a random playlist. Needless to say we need to pay more attention to music coming out of Scotland and I've been binging this album like crazy.
KAT here are a few Scottish bands that are a wee bit different from the run of the mill you usually get on radio etc. they are worth listening to the musicianship is superb and utilises instruments that are not very commonly used in most cases .Try these bands that are all here on UA-cam.....RURA....ELEPHANT SESSIONS....... SKERRYVORE....THE PAUL McKENNA BAND.......KINNARIS QUINTET...... BREABACH.. .....ROSS AINSLIE . These names will open up a whole Pandoras Box of music from themselves and other Scots too. At this very moment I'm listening to Duncan Chisholm playing Dizzy Blue. Hope you find a few new sounds from here .
Surprised you mentioned neither Skippinish nor Manran. Or Heron Valley.
Another one you'll enjoy is a band called Skerryvore
Try “Peat and Diesel” or “Runrig”
Friday Nite by DJ Badboy
I traveled from the U.S to see this song performed at the HebCelt Festival, and it was entirely worth it
A friend and I travel from the States to Three Music festival. Had hoped to see them there, but at least we met Skipinnish and seen Skerryvore perform at home..
I only traveled from Denmark to see them at HebCelt ;)
I saw them at the Reid hall
I travel to HebCelt from the US most summers to volunteer. I was lucky enough to see them at HebCelt in 2016, 2018, and 2019!
My heart will always belong to my wee stunning beautiful majestic country 🏴
The ‘breeze from the Hebrides’ blows through my life every day. She is next door. Love her.
this is the music scotland has been waiting for let the world hear TIDELINES
Here from NatiDredd’s TikTok. Would love an accapella of this beautiful song.
I’m 3/4 Scottish and I’ve told my mum I want tuis as my wedding song when I’m old enough 😂😘
I want to dance with Highland man where the skys reach out for miles... it happened, we danced on ceilidhs in Munich, then he swept me of to England and we spent lots of times in Scotland... I love my highlander!
I live in Stornoway,Lewis, and it is as beautiful as this song describes 💯🙌🏴❤️
I'm not scottish but Scotland means home for me. I feel like a Scotsman and I'll always be, because home is where your heart is
You should check out the song "My Heart's in the Highlands" if your heart is over our way ❤️❤️
Don't tell the nationalists that to them if ya ain't born in Scotland you ain't no Scot

I just left Scotland after six years of living there in order to travel and study but this just makes me miss Scotland so much. Forever my favourite country, i'm sure.

Hello 👋 dear how are you doing today.
Great song. Clear and fresh sound from one of the most loved places of the world. I love Scotland!
Good luck guys.
Was great this great song was used in this years tattoo
July 2018, a friend and I traveled to Scotland and we walked from our B&B in North Ballachulish to that little chapel (St. John's). Stunning location.
I have to listen to this song every so often because on a bus tour of the Highlands, our driver had a playlist of Scottish artists and I just remember how happy this song sounded and it always takes me back to visiting the Highlands, which I hope to do again someday soon.
Heard this yesterday at the Edinburgh military tattoo. Half English, Half Scottish but my heart will always be in Scotland 🏴
Discovered this song at the Edinburgh Tattoo 2023! Loved it
I'm an expat living in Tennessee USA was perusing BBC radio channels and heard this tune, Lovely!

I love this song especially because of the cute wee scottish accent. I wish I had a scottish lover 😛I would feel the breeze of the Hebrides..

I was told that if you can up it's not windy, from the uists
@@johnmcdade7379yes exactly
@@almatka1 They sound exactly as I do ,I live on the North West coast of Scotland and see some of The Hebrides on the horizon.
I'm a Filipino, because of this band and their songs, I felt in love with their music and makes me wanna live in Scotland.
When Covid kicked in here in the UK I had just got back from the NC500 in Scotland, I drove all the way to Portsmouth for 4 days and was sent home for lockdown I lost my job, my house everything I'd worked on since I was 18, but the night we were fired a colleague played this song and me and him listened to your music all evening. I've finally got a home and enough work to keep me going I just wanted to say thank you! This song in particular brought me into a good mood and made me think of better times when it got rough
I'm so happy your in a good place .same thing happened to me and it was really tough , I'm just discovering this band as we are going to towersey festival for the first time in August and it said they are performing so looked them up. Feels so nice to have that behind us and in enjoying life ❤
Not necessarily 100% accurate, but.......;

I wanna feel the breeze of the Hebrides on the far side of the world.
Natidreddd led to me finding this video initially because there was no way in hell I was gonna listen to a song as pretty and beautiful as that and not look further into it. Gorgeous song.
I've been a fan of this band for some time now, but I am absolutely living for the new popularity Tide Lines are getting through TikTok!
I find myself singing this song whenever I'm walking along the beaches here in Fife 💕🏴 Great song! 💖

Caroline Gorman skipinish isn't a band any more
Well, they should stop selling tickets for their Barrowlands show on the 22nd of September then.
Well Robert is now in Tide Lines
Their new lead singer is Norrie MacIver.
Discovered this band during lockdown in Canada...Fantastic! Thanks for spreading hope and happiness with your music!!
Heard this tonight for the first time, i'm in love with it♡
Still listening!!! Absolutely love the Highlands!!!
this is gotta be the most underrated song on UA-cam !!
As a longtime fan of Runrig, Wolfstone, and the Proclaimers as well as trad bands such as Capercaillie, Seelyhoo, the Battlefield Band, etc., I have to say that I've only just learned of Tidelines through watching an interview with Nati Dreddd. After the Great Celtic Wave of the '80s-'90s' had broken and receded it's good to see bands like Tidelines carrying on, perhaps becoming part of the next big wave...
Heard this at the rugby last week and now I’m obsessed with Tide Lines! Going to Glasgow to come and see you guys in June!!! I can’t wait! Would love to hear you guys cover Loch Lomond
I love this song soooo much - i want to leave everthing behind and enjoy the beautiful highlands - great song😊
This song makes me feel free
This is such a beautiful song I love it one of my new favourite songs
Nevis Radio classic. This song will always remind us of a year living and working in the west highlands. Fantastic song.

Guys, I love this song so much! Thanks for making me very happy!!🤩
I just recently adopted a dog who is half Scottish deerhound, half cairn terrier (two highland breeds) and now every time I listen to this song instead of saying highland girl, I always say highland dog. I know I’m lame but he’s my baby lol
I wish I was from Scotland
36 people who don’t know what good music is. Much love from the US! 🎶🎶❤️
We are your new biggest fans. Love the Scottish lilt! Gill and Gillian

I caught this song last night on children in need and I've been totally obessed since, listened to it at least 30 times! On tv I thought you were singing, "I wanna dance with a highland cow" 🤣 😭 what a tune though! Would love to see you live! ❤🏴
Love at first sight or at first listening - like the music, the lyrics, the voice, the video! My Sunday highlight today and I'm sure this highlight will last. All the best to Tide Lines!
When music, place and people are all connected, life becomes celebrated and remembered in a very special and unique way, the past, present and future meet in a musical moment. This song, these lyrics are such a prime example of this. Thank you TL. Looking forward to see you in Manchester in November!
Love this Robert I hope there will be many more on a CD.
Love! Can't wait for more!! Fantastic video, well done!
What a fantastic song I love the Highlands and this song makes me feel brilliant thanks I'm not in the Highlands at the moment but my heart is there with her❤

So good !!! I have loved Roberts voice since the start.
It's a Lowander's love song for the Highland girl and the Highlands. Epic, honest. Heard while on the M74 back from Dumfries, played it 10 time before the Edinburgh bypass. Enjoyed that process of letting a great song sink in.
wow i really love this song. its really good
This is such a great song and beautifully performed
Saw you for the first time tonight in Forfar - I'm hooked, you have another fan. Thank you.
One of the best Scottish bands I know!! Please make more amazing music like this. Your music always feels like home.
