This was great, thank you. I am going to France in August and I managed to book business class on Air France from Ottawa to Paris for the flight down. Not the flight back, but I did get the Air France lounge. And yes, I got the bulkhead seat. Toronto (where I live) probably would have been a lot more expensive than Ottawa.
Thanks for watching and glad you enjoyed the video! I gotta try flying from Ottawa one day to see if I can save a little cash next time. This could be a great hack🙌
I'm traveling in this seat from LAX to Tahiti in June 2025 and also booked from Denver to Paris in October 2025. Excited. I booked it like a year in advance and heard it was only for Air France Elites to book ahead of time but was surprised the website let me book it. But I didn't want to get bumped from the seat so I paid to match to Air France status lol
Amazing! I’m jealous you’ll be flying in this seat twice. It really is a great seat. I think when they first launched the new cabin they were reserving it for elites but I’ve heard of quite a few people who were also able to book the bulkhead spots without having any status either. Thanks for watching and have the best time in Tahiti and Paris ✈️
Thank you so much for making this video! I will be flying in this exact seat when I fly with Air France to Hong Kong in January. Great to be able to get a little preview before flying.
How does the service compare to top airlines like SQ, Cathay, ANA? For a channel with under a thousand subscribers, the video editing is quite top notch. Perhaps the background music can be lowered in volume a notch.
Thank you for watching and for the feedback on the video. I’ll be sure to keep the background music lower for future videos. While the service was good they’re definitely not on the level of airlines like SQ, ANA, Cathay. Certainly much better than North American Airlines where I’m from though 😅😆
@allons.y Understood. And that's what I guessed as much too. However, the allure of lifetime frequent flier status with UA is appealing. Unfortunately, all miles earned to this goal must be on UA metal.
I’m flying on this exact airline and on the A350 from CDG TO ATL in seat 1A, I’m so glad I caught this review! My question is, do they have other menu options?
Oh yes! They had 4 different options for the mains. If you download the app beforehand Air France actually allows you to see the menu a few days beforehand for your exact flight and you can even pre-order which meal you’d like. You’re going to have the best time. 1A is definitely the best seat on this aircraft 🙌
Same, but mostly because I don’t like touching things in airplane bathrooms if I don’t have to. But who choose if they can offer both ? I would think if Cathay were to eliminate a row number it would be row 4 as for many Asians 4 is the unlucky number. Next time I fly Cathay I am going to check
Too many youtubers use the last minute unrestricted one-way cost of a business class ticket to compare against what they paid on a points redemption. Most people who who fly paid business class using money as opposed to points buy round trip tickets which typically cost only about 120% of a one-way ticket. In some cases, a round trip ticket when purchased well in advanced can cost even less than a one-way ticket!
Of course. It’s common knowledge that a round trip ticket is less than a one way fare . Most avid travellers know this. It would be kind of redundant and stating the obvious to say this. But when I’m booking with points I booked a one way ticket. I did not book a round trip. It wouldn’t be a one to one fair comparison if I tell people I used 50k points and have them assume it’s round trip when it’s not. Now if I had actually booked a round trip then I would have stated the round trip cost. But I specifically said this was one way
Much better Lufthansa, British, or Swis Air. They are the best in crew ...that are quite unfriendly (sometimes rude and unpleasant). They manners are so curt...
AF is Business is overhyped when you compare to other European airlines like British Airways and Swiss Air. From their entertainment selection, to food selection, even to the amenities kit (that is what other give in Premium economy, the other usually have a top designer fashion house making it) , and the WiFi that never ever works, AF seriously lacks behind. KLM which is a same company as AF now, surprising much better. I have flown all the 4 airlines in business class and AF is right at the bottom of the list
Thanks for watching and for your input. I think every airline definitely has their strengths and weaknesses for sure. I also have a video about British Airways since you seem to be a fan. Happy flying ✈️

I’m glad you found the video helpful! You’re going to have the absolute best time. By far the best seat on the entire aircraft 🙌
0:51 "Because I was raised by immigrant parents I needed to get my money's worth" so relatable 😂. Excellent video and thanks for sharing!
Immigrant kids always know what’s up. Trained from birth to always extract the most value 😂
@@allons.y I suppose you agree with that? 😂 I smiled when you said that too.
@@oldporkchopsabsolutely! Kids of immigrants know exactly how it is😂🙌
@@allons.y Yep. I agree.

I can’t get over that seat!! Amazing!
right?! honestly they would have had to drag me out of there if I wasn't worried about getting banned from flying lol
Nice review. What camera do you use? To get that aerial view; did you tape your device on the top of your cabin?
Thank you. It’s an insta 360 go 3s. They sell a reusable sticky accessory that allows you to stick the camera on any surface

This was an excellent and fun review👍🏾 I'll be taking this Flt from JFK to CDG in a few weeks!
Thanks for watching! Try to snag one of the bulkhead seats if you haven’t already and have a great flight ✈️
The raised by immigration parents thing had me 😂😂😂 because it hits DEEP! And great review as usual!
Lol right?! No matter how old I get I will always hear my parent’s voice telling me I need to get the most value out of everything lol😂
Air France Business Class Lounge At CDG Airport Is The Best In Europe My Opinion,Beautiful Air Craft And Cabin.Great Video And Info
Definitely agree! The lounge was stunning and loved the air craft. Thanks for watching and happy flying✈️
I love the chocolate, Le Chocolat des Français is really delish!
Oh definitely! I loved the chocolate too and all the desserts really. The French certainly make some of the best sweets 😋
surprisingly I would trade the automatic garbage bin for a seat mattress cover 🛌 also I wonder if cathay has row 14 🤔
Great video
Thanks for watching and glad you enjoyed it. Will you be flying with Air France soon?
Row one has the best seats on the plane. The food on both legs was a disappointment , eat in the lounges.
Definitely agree about row 1 🙌

I’m disappointed that Air France served champagne in that horrible mug type glass, the French people will be horrified.
A champagne flute would definitely had been better🥂
