Hello from Manila, Philippines 🇵🇭. Will definitely take an Air France flight on Business Class when they start this December from Manila to Paris Charles de Gaulle on their A350-900 in a 3 Class configuration Business, Premium Economy and Economy.
I just flew Air France JFK - CDG and back 10 days ago. I was so surprised to see both planes didn't have overhead air vents. So hot. I've been flying since 1984 and have never seen an airplane with no overhead vents. Thank you for sharing your video.
The temperature of the cabin has nothing to do with whether or not there are individual air vents. If it's too hot, politely ask the cabin crew to lower the temperature which they set on the console on the wall.
At 3:47 of the video we can see, on the closet door, the Air France symbol, the winged seahorse. It has been part of the company's visual identity since its founding in 1933. Symbol of the sea (at that time seaplanes dominated aviation) the seahorse invites us to dream, explore and reach further.
Nice video. I do recommend that you shorten / cut out / or speed up some of the more mundane and extended portions like inflight safety video, taxi clips etc. to keep folks interested. Great job overall!

Just flew on the same business class seat between Mexico City & Paris. Very good product, but not great in my opinion: 1) service with trays in Business class is everything but chic or fancy; 2) food quality is good but not great and food options were not that extensive for a 10 hours flight; 3) on my flight, cabin crew service was permanently done with the trolley - again, everything but chic or fancy; 4) WiFi never worked (the CONNECT button never worked); 5) crew forgot about the cheese plate (I had to ask for it); 6) no appetizer was served; 7) the headphones provided are quite cheap; 8) the amenity kit content is rather poor. I had flown Turkish Airlines into Mexico 2 weeks before, and Turkish was miles better than Air France overall.
Thank you very much for your detailed comment. In fact for a service without tray and more sofisticated Air France has "La Première" which Turkish Airlines doesn't have. That's why Turkish gives all they have in Business Class as it's their highest class. Air France should keep the exclusivity of the La Première service very district to what its business class offers. Business Is business traveller oriented while La Première Is the exclusive French high end chic and gastronomic experience.
Grat plane ! Was on the route a few days ago. Service was terrible as was the food, I asked for a Coked flight at night, I was give a warm coke in a Dixie Cup. After the dinner service, the attendants were in Galley talking. I was in Biz class and never again. Took Delta on return and was 100% better service and food.
Did BOS-CDG RT in August. The food was a bit meh , the seats in row 1 were super. Really spacious and comfortable. The service was very good. We brought portable fans (USB) with us after reading about cabin temps , and the train ride to the south , glad we did. The lounges were really great on both legs.
My recent AF flight from CDG to SFO on the A350 was rather poor. Lounge was old and crowded, boarding was unorganized, they never boarded my pre-ordered meal, menu did not match what was offered, they did not have much left and I ended up skipping the meal, poor service.
Love this video, the suite looks gorgeous in dark blue, food looks delicious; the only hold back is the music they play during arrival, it did not sound relaxing to me. Overall it should be a lovely flight!
well they sure have good food... but the nightmare is trying to connect through CDG... the worst experience of my life... no way to actually navigate between CDG terminals... requires going out of security and out of the airport, then transferring and then checking in again. Due to this I missed my Air France flight and was forced to get a hotel at the airport then skurry up and and ask airline for anything they could get me on. Downgraded from business forced to fly in coach. CDG has the worst connections between flights and misconnections are a frequent nightmare one experiences when flying through CDG.
I so dont like the new air france business class. The new seat are too narrow compared to the old one, you only have two windows sometimes only one. I remembered the time where I had 4 windows on air france business class with the seat called "the egg". Today, once you managed to slide your feet in the sort of tiny space made for, you've got the feeling you won't be able to move them anymore and once you are lying down, don't even think to turn. I do believe air france first thought of the growth of profitability by having as many business seats as possible instead of coming up with a good product
I think you have tried their first business class layout on its older A350 which was not supposed to be an Air France product but was intended to be for its now discontinued subsidiary Joon

Thanks for sharing your video anyway and do fly Air France La Premiere as soon as you get the opportunity for it is THE best first class ever, I believe 😉

just hype i have flown few times and the food gets worse and worse. For chef designed menus its got a long way to go to be good. service and flight attendants are awesome though that compensates the experience.

Those electronic dimmable windows SUCK. One of the better things about the A350 over the 787 (besides being a superior and safer plane) was that it has traditional window shades and not this electronic dimmable crap. With this dimmable crap, the cabin crew will LOCK the windows dark and if you want to look out, you can’t! Screw Air France for ordering electronic dimmable windows and screw Airbus for offering it now on A350s.
