Never heard of this town before, but I'm planning to research more about it. It's beautiful and so clean! You absolutely nailed Gabe's request, I hope they purchase it.
Very nicely done video. So pleasantly low-key unlike some other high pressure Italian home sites. However this tiny apartment seems overpriced. The kitchen would give anyone claustrophobia. and the bedroom upstairs is as large as a standard prison cell. The city is very pretty.
Bravíssimo, Marco! Thanks for sharing this gem of a city. I live in the south of Spain so I´m accustomed to living in rather small apartments like this one and I think it´s charming! I´m really partial to the tendency in your region to paint things white and then have little punches of color. You have a way of combining all the elements to give an enticing snapshot of a place so keep doing what you´re doing! ❤
Love your videos!! I just return from Lecce, it was amazing!! I remember passing Martina Franca while traveling the long distance from Salerno to Lecce, so thank you for this video, in fact thank you for all your videos!! The pasticciato was amazing in Lecce!! I will try to recreate it here back home in Texas!!❤🇮🇹
Haha. Good luck with that! Post your own video so we can see. I was also recently in Lecce. The incredible quality of the food, which is so, so simple, lies mostly in the impeccable local ingredients. I think that’s why Marco says Just Dream Italy. Best wishes.
Such a beautiful area. I never heard of it and my grandparents and relatives come from Puglia. Very tastefully restored home and worth the money for a vacation home in such a lovely area.
Thank you Marco, another beautiful video. I will be visiting Puglia next April and Martina Franca has been added to the growing list of cities to visit. This unit is almost perfect for what I would want, if it was just a tad larger. Thanks once again!
My grandparents were born in Martina Franca and I will have relatives living there. I would love to visit one day. One of my cousins just came back from visiting there and he tries to go at least every two years.
Your videos are fantastic. The images, the narration, the food all beautiful. The properties you highlight are interesting but are you working exclusively with Alex Norton, you seem to the showing the very same properties. I’m sure there are other properties that don’t ever make it to UA-cam, how about touring some of those? Will be visiting Puglia in a couple of weeks and looking forward to visiting some of the restaurants in the videos, thanks for the content!
Great area tour, food too! and it's nice to see renovations which avoid 'cookie-cutter' materials, like wood-grain glazed floor tiles and Ikea kitchens. Still, I find this small apt way overpriced. I'd love to see places at lower prices, still needing (at least some) renovations, the kind of place a buyer could still choose much of the end result. Grazie mille!
Hi Marco We Love your videos and overviews of the great towns and properties in Puglia. Would you be able to do one on either or/and Soeccia a gorgeous small town with tge most amazing pastry shop for some of the best Pasticotto we have had called Martinucci. Or Tricase which is a stunning day town but also has a gorgeous Port to swim in and also a great eatery called mename. Their vegetarian Panlibro (like a pannino) with buratta which was gorgeous.
I love the Med...purchased my first home in Marbella back in the early 80s...it was also a small furnished apt with balcony and views of N Africa, and Gibraltar....and I won't mention the price, but it was far less than 150000 euros....in fact it was a very very small fraction of it.
Brillinat video... thank you... I'm looking to move to Spain or Italy...both look amazing, and the food, the history ... of both countries is amazing. Thanks again.
Very beautiful ❤❤❤❤ I would put more colorfull furniture so it contrasts with the white walls. I love the bedroom with its spacious rooftop porch 😍 ☺️ 💕 😌 😋 🤗

wow, what a beautiful city. Love your videos. Would it be too much to add transportation info to your videos? I wonder how easy or difficult it would be to fly into Rome then travel to this city like this.
If you are flying into Rome the best option would be to get a high speed train into Bari and then either a bus or a car rental if you wish to visit the area, which I would recommend. Also flights from Rome to Bari are cheap if booked ahead
@@paperinik69 I just booked a one way flight from Rome to Brindisi next April with Ryanair for 62 Euros including the fee for one checked bag, which was twice the cost of the airfare!
Your videos are always gorgeous, with beautiful colour schemes and clever cuts. You deserve way more views! Could you maybe branch out a bit and just take us on a trip round the whole country? 😄😄
You can find really nice homes in nice little areas with 5,000 People close to the sea for a lot less than this ... To me for Italy this is a bit pricey for Italy But yes there are amazing homes for very very cheap that don't require work at all or some very little just paint 😊
Just discovered your posts, and l'm binge watching them. Your balance of area information, food "sharing" and the well filmed interiors of the properties make for relaxing and enjoyable viewing.😊 Now all l have to do is find the leprechauns gold and you can find me a home!!😂
Good choise. Lecce is one of the most beautiful cities in the World. If you can (not expensive) go to Matera (Tom Cruise 007 scenery), Santa Maria di Leuca, OSTUNI and of course Sicily (I suggest Taormina and Giardini Naxos and Alcantara River and Etna excursions. And for food ask for "arancini", "fritto misto" - fish), melanzane alla parmigiana, every kind of pasta... cannoli siciliani and meringa for dessert, arancello and lemoncello for the final alcool. For the wine , go for Nero d'Avola, best Sicilian red wine.@@deenaparker8689
In Lecce, ask for Salento wines, ask for "della casa" if you are on a budget, it means from the region, not from the bottle. Take a serious look on the wine menu, they are good@@deenaparker8689
Ask for panzerotti, better then pizzas and you save the half price. And ask for "caffè leccese"! And ask to every people, they are very kind, even if they cannot speak English, don't worry, they are happy to help tourists. Try to meet Italian people
An city like Martina Franca I'll definitely recommend this an best Destination too visit or residence for internationals for it's underrated hidden gem of it's Towns history and beauty!
Ostuni-Gallipoli-Monopoli-Polignano a Mare-Fasano-Lecce-Brindisi is my favourite triangle in puglia. Beautiful beaches, great food and drinks all provided by people that know how to live very close to heaven, while firmly rooted to their home soil.

Hello What lovely videos editing an food. WOWZA! OK I am headed to the South to Explore. Looking for a piece of land with a ruin possibly close to a river maybe 3 acres. Close enough to a village to walk or bike and have a town or city with all the amenities no further than 30 to 40 minutes. Prices under $50,000. So where do you recommend? Thanx for such great tours. Must be in the south Thanx. Gina in Upstate New York I was moving to Portugal but the parameters have changed there so headed back to Italy
The town is absolutely gorgeous, but why does it look empty? No people or cars. Was it summer holiday season? The apartment is beautifully restored, but the lack of windows in the kitchen and very confined bedroom is a deal breaker for most. The lack of stairways railing is also a hazard. I realize that there's little room in that narrow stairway to add railing. Even a rope would be better than nothing. The rooftop terrace is a refreshing open space from the almost cave like apartment. It would be absolutely lovely with some planters and greenery and a umbrella or retractable awning to escape the sun.
I realize it's a warm and sunny climate in Italy but the utter lack of windows and nature is just a non-starter for me in pretty much all of these homes. Also being that Italy is a very food centered culture, I cannot understand the miniscule kitchen closets which seem impractical even for one person 🤔
Much of the architecture in the Mediterranean, North Africa and Mission style in America's southwest, exhibit this feature. The sun can be very oppressive.
